1 ULB ~ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! दाऊद कि ख़ातिर उसकी सब मुसीबतों को याद कर; BSB BSB: A song of ascents. O LORD, remember on behalf of David all the hardships he endured,
2 ULB कि उसने किस तरह ख़ुदावन्द से क़सम खाई, और या'क़ूब के क़ादिर के सामने मन्नत मानी, BSB BSB: how he swore an oath to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 ULB ~"यक़ीनन मैं न अपने घर में दाख़िल हूँगा, न अपने पलंग पर जाऊँगा; BSB BSB: “I will not enter my house or get into my bed,
4 ULB और न अपनी आँखों में नींद, न अपनी पलकों में झपकी आने दूँगा; BSB BSB: I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,
5 ULB जब तक ख़ुदावन्द के लिए कोई जगह, और या'क़ूब के क़ादिर के लिए घर न हो।" BSB BSB: until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6 ULB ~देखो, हम ने उसकी ख़बर इफ़्राता में सुनी; हमें यह जंगल के मैदान में मिली। BSB BSB: We heard that the ark was in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar.
7 ULB ~हम उसके घरों में दाखि़ल होंगे, हम उसके पाँव की चौकी के सामने सिजदा करेंगे! BSB BSB: Let us go to His dwelling place; let us worship at His footstool.
8 ULB उठ, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! अपनी आरामगाह में दाखि़ल हो! तू और तेरी कु़दरत का संदूक़। BSB BSB: Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength.
9 ULB तेरे काहिन सदाक़त से मुलब्बस हों, और तेरे पाक ख़ुशी के नारे मारें। BSB BSB: May Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and Your saints shout for joy.
10 ULB अपने बन्दे दाऊद की ख़ातिर, अपने मम्सूह की दु'आ ना-मन्जूर न कर। BSB BSB: For the sake of Your servant David, do not reject Your anointed one.
11 ULB ~ख़ुदावन्द ने सच्चाई के साथ दाऊद से क़सम खाई है; वह उससे फिरने का नहीं: कि मैं तेरी औलाद में से किसी को तेरे तख़्त पर बिठाऊँगा। BSB BSB: The LORD swore an oath to David, a promise He will not revoke: “One of your descendants I will place on your throne.
12 ULB ~अगर तेरे फ़र्ज़न्द मेरे 'अहद और मेरी शहादत पर, जो मैं उनको सिखाऊँगा 'अमल करें; तो उनके फ़र्ज़न्द भी हमेशा तेरे तख़्त पर बैठेगें।" BSB BSB: If your sons keep My covenant and the testimony I will teach them, then their sons will also sit on your throne forever and ever.”
13 ULB क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने सिय्यून को चुना है, उसने उसे अपने घर के लिए पसन्द किया है: BSB BSB: For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His home:
14 ULB ~"यह हमेशा के लिए मेरी आरामगाह है; मै यहीं रहूँगा क्यूँकि मैंने इसे पसंद किया है। BSB BSB: “This is My resting place forever and ever; here I will dwell, for I have desired this home.
15 ULB मैं इसके रिज़क़ में ख़ूब बरकत दूँगा; मैं इसके ग़रीबों को रोटी से सेर करूँगा BSB BSB: I will bless her with abundant provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 ULB ~इसके काहिनों को भी मैं नजात से मुलव्वस करूँगा और उसके पाक बुलन्द आवाज़ से ख़ुशी के नारे मारेंगे। BSB BSB: I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will sing out in joy.
17 ULB वहीं मैं दाऊद के लिए एक सींग निकालूँगा मैंने अपने मम्सूह के लिए चराग़ तैयार किया है। BSB BSB: There I will make a horn grow for David; I have prepared a lamp for My anointed one.
18 ULB मैं उसके दुश्मनों को शर्मिन्दगी का लिबास पहनाऊँगा, लेकिन उस पर उसी का ताज रोनक अफ़रोज़ होगा। BSB BSB: I will clothe his enemies with shame, but the crown upon him will gleam.”
