1. 1URDOUCVساتویں مہینے کی اِکیّسویں تاریخ کو یَاہوِہ کا کلام حگّیؔ نبی کی مَعرفت پہُنچا:BSBBSB: On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came through Haggai the prophet, saying:
2. 2URDOUCV”شیالتی ایل کے بیٹے زرُبّابِیل یہُوداہؔ کے حاکم اَور یہُوصدقؔ کے بیٹے، اعلیٰ کاہِن یہوشُعؔ اَور باقی لوگوں سے بات کرو اَور اُن سے پُوچھو،BSBBSB: “Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and also to the remnant of the people. Ask them,
3. 3URDOUCV’تُم میں سے اَب کون بچا ہے جِس نے اِس بیت المُقدّس کی پہلی شان و شوکت دیکھی تھی؟ اَور اَب یہ تُمہیں کیسی دِکھائی دیتی ہے؟ کیا یہ سچ نہیں ہے کہ اَب یہ تمہاری نظر میں اُس پہلے بیت المُقدّس کی موازنہ میں کچھ بھی نہیں ہے؟BSBBSB: ‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not appear to you like nothing in comparison?’
4. 4URDOUCVلیکن اَے زرُبّابِیل اَب مضبُوط ہو جا،‘ یَاہوِہ اعلان کرتے ہیں، ’اَور اَے یہُوصدقؔ کے بیٹے، اعلیٰ کاہِن یہوشُعؔ ہمّت رکھ۔ اَے مُلک کے سَب لوگوں یَاہوِہ اعلان کرتے ہیں کام شروع کرو اَور ہمّت رکھو کیونکہ مَیں تمہارے ساتھ ہُوں،‘ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ یُوں فرماتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work! For I am with you, declares the LORD of Hosts.
5. 5URDOUCV’جَب مُلک مِصر سے تُم باہر نکلے تھے تَب اُس وقت مَیں نے تُم سے یہ عہد کیا تھا اَور اُس کے مُطابق میری رُوح تمہارے درمیان مَوجُود ہے، اِس لئے خوف نہ کرو۔‘BSBBSB: This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
6. 6URDOUCV”کیونکہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، ’میں تھوڑی ہی دیر میں پھر ایک بار آسمانوں، زمین، سمُندر اَور خُشکی کو ہلاؤں گا۔BSBBSB: For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7. 7URDOUCVمیں سَب قوموں کو ہلا دُوں گا اَور سَب قوموں کی مرغوب اَشیا آئیں گی اَور مَیں اِس بیت المُقدّس کو اَپنی جلال سے بھر دُوں گا۔‘ یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔BSBBSB: I will shake all the nations, and they will come with all their treasures, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts.
8. 8URDOUCVقادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ اعلان کرتے ہیں، چاندی میری ہے اَور سونا بھی میرا ہے۔BSBBSB: The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the LORD of Hosts.
9. 9URDOUCVاِس پچھلے بیت المُقدّس کی شان و شوکت پہلے والے بیت المُقدّس سے زِیادہ ہوگی۔ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں۔ اَور مَیں اِس مقام میں سلامتی بخشوں گا۔ یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔“BSBBSB: The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will provide peace, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
10. 10URDOUCVداریاویشؔ بادشاہ کی حُکومت کے دُوسرے سال کے نویں مہینے کی چوبیسویں تاریخ کو یَاہوِہ کا یہ کلام حگّیؔ نبی کے پاس آیا:BSBBSB: On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Haggai the prophet, saying,
11. 11URDOUCV”قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، کاہِنوں سے دریافت کرو کہ آئین کیا کہتی ہے،BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Ask the priests for a ruling.
12. 12URDOUCVاگر کویٔی شخص پاک گوشت کو اَپنے لباس کے دامن میں لے جا رہا ہو اَور اُس کا دامن روٹی، دال یا مَے یا تیل یا کسی طرح کی کھانے کی چیز سے چھُو جائے، تو کیا وہ پاک ہو جائے گا؟“ کاہِنوں نے جَواب دیا، ”نہیں۔“BSBBSB: If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and it touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that item become holy?’” “No,” replied the priests.
13. 13URDOUCVتَب حگّیؔ نے پُوچھا، ”اگر کویٔی مُردہ کو چھُونے سے ناپاک ہو گیا ہو اَور اُن چیزوں میں سے کسی کو چھُوئے تو کیا وہ چیز ناپاک ہو جائے گی؟“ کاہِنوں نے جَواب میں کہا، ”ضروُر ناپاک ہو جائے گی۔“BSBBSB: So Haggai asked, “If one who is defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” “Yes, it becomes defiled,” the priests answered.
14. 14URDOUCVپھر حگّیؔ نے کہا، یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، میری نظر میں اِن لوگوں اَور اِس قوم کا یہی حال ہے۔ اِن کے ہر کام کا جو وہ کرتے ہیں یہی حال ہے اَورجو کچھ اِس جگہ نذر کرتے ہیں، وہ ناپاک ہے۔BSBBSB: Then Haggai replied, “So it is with this people and this nation before Me, declares the LORD, and so it is with every work of their hands; whatever they offer there is defiled.
15. 15URDOUCVپس اَب آج سے آئندہ کو اِس کا خیال رکھو کہ پہلے یہ چیزیں کیسی تھیں، جَب یَاہوِہ کے بیت المُقدّس میں ایک پتّھر پر دُوسرا پتّھر نہیں رکھا گیا تھا۔BSBBSB: Now consider carefully from this day forward: Before one stone was placed on another in the temple of the LORD,
16. 16URDOUCVاُس وقت جَب کویٔی بیس پیمانوں کی اُمّید رکھتا تھا تو اُسے صرف دس ہی ملتے تھے اَور جَب کویٔی انگوری حوض سے پچاس پیمانے مَے نکالنے جاتا تھا تو اُسے بیس ہی ملتے تھے۔BSBBSB: from that time, when one came expecting a heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.
17. 17URDOUCVمَیں نے تمہارے کھیتی کے سَب کاموں میں اَمراض، پھپھُوندی، اولے سے مارا پھر بھی تُم میری طرف رُجُوع نہ ہُوئے۔ یَاہوِہ کا یہی اعلان ہے۔BSBBSB: I struck you—all the work of your hands—with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to Me, declares the LORD.
18. 18URDOUCVاَب ذرا غور کرو کہ آج سے پہلے یعنی جِس دِن یَاہوِہ کے بیت المُقدّس کی بُنیاد ڈالی گئی تھی، اُس دِن سے لے کر نویں مہینے کی اِسی چوبیسویں تاریخ تک کیا حالت تھی اِس پر ذرا خاص خیال کرنا۔BSBBSB: Consider carefully from this day forward—from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, the day the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid—consider carefully:
19. 19URDOUCVکیا ابھی تک کوئی بیج کھتّے میں بچا ہے؟ ابھی تک انگور، اَنجیر، انار اَور زَیتُون کے درختوں میں کوئی پھل نہیں لگا ہے۔ لیکن آج ہی کے دِن سے میں تُمہیں برکت دیتا رہُوں گا۔BSBBSB: Is there still seed in the barn? The vine, the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet yielded fruit. But from this day on, I will bless you.”
20. 20URDOUCVپھر اِسی مہینے کی چوبیس تاریخ کو یَاہوِہ کا کلام حگّیؔ نبی پر نازل ہُوا،BSBBSB: For the second time that day, the twenty-fourth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to Haggai, saying,
21. 21URDOUCV”یہُودیؔہ کے حاکم زرُبّابِیل سے فرما، میں آسمانوں اَور زمین کو ہلاؤں گا۔BSBBSB: “Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth:
22. 22URDOUCVمیں سلطنتوں کے تخت اُلٹ دُوں گا اَور غَیر قوموں کی طاقت کو برباد کر دُوں گا۔ میں رتھوں کو اُن کے سواروں سمیت اُلٹ دُوں گا؛ اَور اُن کے گھوڑے اَور سوار اَپنے ہی بھایٔی کی تلوار سے قتل ہوں گے۔BSBBSB: I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
23. 23URDOUCV”قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، ’اَے میرے خادِم شیالتی ایل کے بیٹے زرُبّابِیل، اُس دِن، مَیں تُجھے لُوں گا،‘ یہ یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے، ’اَور اَپنی انگُشتری کا نگینہ بناؤں گا کیونکہ مَیں نے تُمہیں مُنتخب کیا ہے،‘ یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔“BSBBSB: On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
