1. 1URDOUCVاَور جَب کبھی مَیں اِسرائیل کو شفا بخشوں گا، تَب اِفرائیمؔ کے گُناہ ظاہر ہو جایٔیں گے اَور سامریہؔ کے جرائم آشکارا ہوں گے۔ وہ دغاباز ہیں، چور گھر میں گھُس آتے ہیں، اَور ڈاکُو سڑکوں پر لُوٹ لیتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: When I heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim will be exposed, as well as the crimes of Samaria. For they practice deceit and thieves break in; bandits raid in the streets.
2. 2URDOUCVلیکن اُنہیں احساس نہیں ہوتا کہ مُجھے اُن کے تمام بُرے اعمال یاد ہیں۔ اُن کے گُناہوں نے اُنہیں گھیرلیا ہے؛ وہ ہمیشہ میرے سامنے رہتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: But they fail to consider in their hearts that I remember all their evil. Now their deeds are all around them; they are before My face.
3. 3URDOUCVوہ اَپنی شرارت سے بادشاہ کا دِل بہلاتے ہیں؛ اَور اَپنی دروغ گوئی سے اُمرا کو خُوش رکھتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: They delight the king with their evil, and the princes with their lies.
4. 4URDOUCVوہ سَب زناکار ہیں، جو تنور کی مانند جلتے رہتے ہیں جِس کی آگ پکانے والے کو آٹا گُوندھنے سے لے کر اُس کے اُبھر آنے تک تیز کرنے کی ضروُرت نہیں ہوتی۔BSBBSB: They are all adulterers, like an oven heated by a baker who needs not stoke the fire from the kneading to the rising of the dough.
5. 5URDOUCVہمارے بادشاہ کے جَشن کے دِن اُمرا مَے سے مخمور ہو گئے، اَور اُس نے مسخروں سے ہاتھ مِلائے۔BSBBSB: The princes are inflamed with wine on the day of our king; so he joins hands with those who mock him.
6. 6URDOUCVاُن کے دِل تنور کی مانند ہیں؛ اَور وہ سازش کے ساتھ اُن سے ملتے ہیں۔ اُن کا جذبہ تمام رات اَندر ہی اَندر دہکتا رہتاہے؛ اَور صُبح کو آگ کے شُعلوں کی مانند بھڑک اُٹھتا ہے۔BSBBSB: For they prepare their heart like an oven while they lie in wait; all night their anger smolders; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.
7. 7URDOUCVوہ سَب کے سَب تنور کی مانند گرم رہتے ہیں؛ اَور اَپنے حُکمرانوں کو کھا جاتے ہیں۔ اُن کے تمام بادشاہ مارے جاتے ہیں، لیکن اُن میں سے کویٔی مُجھے نہیں پُکارتا۔BSBBSB: All of them are hot as an oven, and they devour their rulers. All their kings fall; not one of them calls upon Me.
8. 8URDOUCVاِفرائیمؔ مُختلف قوموں سے مِل جُل گیا ہے؛ اِفرائیمؔ ایک چپاتی ہے جو پلٹی نہ گئی ہو۔BSBBSB: Ephraim mixes with the nations; Ephraim is an unturned cake.
9. 9URDOUCVپردیسیوں نے اُس کی قُوّت کو توڑ ڈالا، لیکن اُسے اُس کا احساس نہیں ہے۔ اُس کے بال سفید ہو گئے ہیں، لیکن اُس کا بھی اُسے علم نہیں ہے۔BSBBSB: Foreigners consume his strength, but he does not notice. Even his hair is streaked with gray, but he does not know.
10. 10URDOUCVاِسرائیل کی ضِد اُس کے خِلاف گواہی دے رہی ہے، لیکن اُن سَب کے باوُجُود بھی وہ یَاہوِہ اَپنے خُدا کی طرف نہیں لَوٹتا اَور نہ ہی اُن کا طالب ہوتاہے۔BSBBSB: Israel’s arrogance testifies against them, yet they do not return to the LORD their God; despite all this, they do not seek Him.
11. 11URDOUCVاِفرائیمؔ ایک فاختہ کی مانند ہے، جو نادان ہے اَور جسے بآسانی بہکایا جا سَکتا ہے۔ کبھی تو وہ مِصر کو پُکارتے ہیں، اَور کبھی اشُور کی جانِب رُخ کرتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: So Ephraim has become like a silly, senseless dove—calling out to Egypt, then turning to Assyria.
12. 12URDOUCVجَب وہ جایٔیں گے تَب مَیں اَپنا جال اُن پر پھیلاؤں گا؛ اَور اُنہیں ہَوا کے پرندوں کی طرح نیچے کھینچ لاؤں گا۔ اَور جَب مَیں اُنہیں یکجا ہوتے سُنوں گا، تَب مَیں اُنہیں پکڑوں گا۔BSBBSB: As they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like birds of the air. I will chastise them when I hear them flocking together.
13. 13URDOUCVاُن پر افسوس، کیونکہ وہ مُجھ سے بھٹک گیٔے ہیں! وہ برباد ہو جایٔیں، کیونکہ اُنہُوں نے میرے خِلاف بغاوت کی ہے! مَیں اُن کا فدیہ دینا چاہتا ہُوں لیکن وہ میرے خِلاف دروغ گوئی کرتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against Me! Though I would redeem them, they speak lies against Me.
14. 14URDOUCVوہ اَپنے دِل سے مُجھ سے فریاد نہیں کرتے لیکن اَپنے بِستروں پر پڑے ہُوئے آہ و زاری کرتے ہیں۔ وہ اناج اَور نئی مَے کی خاطِر اِکٹھّے ہو جاتے ہیں لیکن مُجھ سے مُنہ موڑ لیتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: They do not cry out to Me from their hearts when they wail upon their beds. They slash themselves for grain and new wine, but turn away from Me.
15. 15URDOUCVمَیں نے اُنہیں تربّیت دی اَور تقویّت بخشی، لیکن وہ میرے خِلاف بُرے منصُوبے باندھتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: Although I trained and strengthened their arms, they plot evil against Me.
16. 16URDOUCVوہ خُداتعالیٰ کی طرف نہیں لَوٹتے؛ وہ ناقص کمان کی مانند ہیں۔ اُن کے اُمرا اَپنے گُستاخ کلام کے سبب سے تلوار سے مارے جایٔیں گے۔ اِسی لیٔے مُلک مِصر میں اُن کا مذاق اُڑایا جائے گا۔BSBBSB: They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword for the cursing of their tongue; for this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.
