1. 1URDOUCVدیکھو مَیں اَپنا پیغمبر اَپنے آگے بھیج رہا ہُوں۔ جو میرے آنے سے پہلے میری راہ تیّار کرےگا۔ تَب خُداوؔند جِس کے تُم طالب ہو وہ اَچانک اَپنی بیت المُقدّس میں تشریف لے آئیں گے۔ ہاں عہد کا پیغمبر جِس کے تُم آرزُومند ہو، آ جائے گا۔ یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔BSBBSB: “Behold, I will send My messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple—the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight—see, He is coming,” says the LORD of Hosts.
2. 2URDOUCVلیکن اُس کے آنے کے دِن کو کون برداشت کر سکتا ہے اَور جَب وہ ظاہر ہوگا تو کون کھڑا رہ سکےگا کیونکہ وہ سُنار کی جلتی ہوئی بھٹّی کی طرح یا دھوبی کے صابُن کی مانند ہے۔BSBBSB: But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like a launderer’s soap.
3. 3URDOUCVوہ چاندی کو صَاف کرنے اَور اُس کی گندگی دُور کرنے والے سُنار کی مانند بیٹھے گا؛ اَور جَیسے سونے اَور چاندی کو صَاف کیا جاتا ہے وَیسے ہی وہ بنی لیوی کو صَاف کرےگا۔ تَب وہ یَاہوِہ کے اَیسے لوگ ہوں گے جو راستبازی سے نذرانہ لائیں گے۔BSBBSB: And He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to the LORD in righteousness.
4. 4URDOUCVتَب مُلک یہُودیؔہ اَور یروشلیمؔ کے باشِندوں کا نذرانہ یَاہوِہ کو اَیسا منظُور ہوگا جَیسا قدیم زمانوں اَور گُزرے دِنوں میں ہُوا کرتا تھا۔BSBBSB: Then the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will please the LORD, as in days of old and years gone by.
5. 5URDOUCVتَب مَیں تمہاری عدالت کے لیٔے تمہارے نزدیک آؤں گا اَور اوجھاؤں، بدکاروں اَور جھُوٹی قَسم کھانے والوں کے خِلاف اَور اُن کے خِلاف بھی جو مزدُوروں کو اُن کی مزدُوری نہیں دیتے اَور بیواؤں اَور یتیموں پر ظُلم کرتے ہیں اَور پردیسیوں کو اِنصاف سے محروم رکھتے ہیں اَور مُجھ سے نہیں ڈرتے ہیں، مَیں اُن سَب کے خِلاف فوراً گواہی دُوں گا، یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔BSBBSB: “Then I will draw near to you for judgment. And I will be a swift witness against sorcerers and adulterers and perjurers, against oppressors of the widowed and fatherless, and against those who defraud laborers of their wages and deny justice to the foreigner but do not fear Me,” says the LORD of Hosts.
6. 6URDOUCV”کیونکہ مَیں یَاہوِہ لاتبدیل ہُوں۔ اِس لیٔے اَے بنی یعقوب، تُم نِیست و نابُود نہیں ہُوئے۔BSBBSB: “Because I, the LORD, do not change, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.
7. 7URDOUCVتُم اَپنے آباؤاَجداد کے ایّام سے ہمیشہ میرے قوانین سے مُنہ پھراتے رہے ہو اَور اُن پر عَمل نہیں کیا۔ تُم میری طرف رُجُوع لاؤ،“ تو مَیں بھی تمہاری طرف رُجُوع ہُوں گا۔ یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔ ”لیکن تُم پُوچھتے ہو، ’ہم کس بات میں رُجُوع لائیں؟‘BSBBSB: Yet from the days of your fathers, you have turned away from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD of Hosts. “But you ask, ‘How can we return?’
8. 8URDOUCV”کیا کویٔی فانی شخص یَاہوِہ کو لُوٹ سکتا ہے؟ پھر بھی تُم مُجھے لُٹتے ہو۔ ”لیکن تُم پُوچھتے ہو، ’ہم کس بات میں آپ کو لُوٹتے ہیں؟‘ ”تُم دہ یکیوں اَور نذرانہ کے مُعاملے میں لُٹتے ہو۔BSBBSB: Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you ask, ‘How do we rob You?’ In tithes and offerings.
9. 9URDOUCVپس تُم ملعُون ہو، تمہاری ساری قوم ملعُون ہے۔ کیونکہ تُم مُجھے لُوٹ رہے ہو۔BSBBSB: You are cursed with a curse, yet you—the whole nation—are still robbing Me.
10. 10URDOUCVسارا دہ یکی ذخیرہ خانے میں لاؤ تاکہ میرے بیت المُقدّس میں خُوراک مَوجُود رہے۔ اِس بات میں مُجھے آزما کر دیکھو،“ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، ”دیکھو میں آسمان کے دریچوں کو کھول کر اِس قدر برکتوں کی بارش کروں گا کی نہیں کہ تمہارے پاس رکھنے کو جگہ نہ رہے گی۔BSBBSB: Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure.
11. 11URDOUCVمَیں کیڑوں کو تمہاری فصل چٹ کر جانے سے روکوں گا اَور تمہارے تاکستان میں انگور کے پھل پکنے سے پہلے کچّے نہیں گریں گے،“ یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔BSBBSB: I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your land, and the vine in your field will not fail to produce fruit,” says the LORD of Hosts.
12. 12URDOUCVتَب سَب قومیں تُمہیں مُبارک کہیں گی کیونکہ تمہاری زمین خُوشحال ہوگی، یہ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کا فرمان ہے۔BSBBSB: “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight,” says the LORD of Hosts.
13. 13URDOUCVیَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، تُم نے میرے خِلاف متکبّرانہ باتیں کہی ہیں، تو بھی تُم پُوچھتے ہو، ہم نے آپ کے خِلاف کیا کہا ہے؟BSBBSB: “Your words against Me have been harsh,” says the LORD. “Yet you ask, ‘What have we spoken against You?’
14. 14URDOUCVتُم نے کہا ہے، یَاہوِہ کی عبادت کرنا بیکار ہے۔ قادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ کے تقاضوں پر عَمل کرنے اَور اُن کے حُضُور میں ماتم کرنے والوں کی طرح جانے سے کیا حاصل ہُوا؟BSBBSB: You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What have we gained by keeping His requirements and walking mournfully before the LORD of Hosts?
15. 15URDOUCVلیکن اَب ہم مغروُروں کو برکت والے کہتے ہیں۔ بے شک بدکار خُوشحال ہوتے ہیں اَور یَاہوِہ کی مُخالفت کرنے والے رِہائی پاتے ہیں۔BSBBSB: So now we call the arrogant blessed. Not only do evildoers prosper, they even test God and escape.’”
16. 16URDOUCVتَب یَاہوِہ کا خوف ماننے والوں نے آپَس میں گُفتگو کی اَور یَاہوِہ نے مُتوجّہ ہوکر اُن کی سُنی اَور اُن کے لئے جو یَاہوِہ سے ڈرتے اَور اُس کے نام کی تعظیم کرتے تھے، یَاہوِہ کے حُضُور میں ایک یادگاری کی کِتاب لکھی جا رہی تھی۔BSBBSB: At that time those who feared the LORD spoke with one another, and the LORD listened and heard them. So a scroll of remembrance was written before Him regarding those who feared the LORD and honored His name.
17. 17URDOUCVقادرمُطلق یَاہوِہ فرماتے ہیں، ”اُس روز جَب مَیں عَمل کروں گا،“ تَب وہ میری خاص مِلکیّت ہوں گے؛ اَور مَیں اُن پر اَیسی شفقت کروں گا جَیسے ایک باپ اَپنے خدمت گزار بیٹے پر شفیق ہوتاہے۔BSBBSB: “They will be Mine,” says the LORD of Hosts, “on the day when I prepare My treasured possession. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.
18. 18URDOUCVتَب تُم راستبازوں اَور بدکاروں کے درمیان اَور یَاہوِہ کی عبادت کرنے اَور نہ کرنے والوں میں صَاف صَاف اِمتیاز دیکھوگے۔BSBBSB: So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
