Matthew 15 (URDOUCV)

1تَب بعض فرِیسی اَور شَریعت کے عالِم یروشلیمؔ سے یِسوعؔ کے پاس آئے اَور کہنے لگے،Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked,

2”آپ کے شاگرد بُزرگوں کی روایت کے خِلاف کیوں چلتے ہیں؟ اَور کھانے سے پہلے اَپنے ہاتھ نہیں دھوتے؟““Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They do not wash their hands before they eat.”

3یِسوعؔ نے جَواب دیا، ”تُم اَپنی روایت سے خُدا کے حُکم کی خِلاف ورزی کیوں کرتے ہو؟Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?

4کیونکہ خُدا نے فرمایاہے، ’تُم اَپنے باپ اَور ماں کی عزّت کرنا‘ اَور ’جو کویٔی باپ یا ماں کو بُرا کہے وہ ضروُر مار ڈالا جائے۔‘For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’

5مگر تُم کہتے ہو کہ اگر کویٔی اَپنے باپ یا ماں سے کہے کہ جو کُچھ آپ کو مُجھ سے مدد کے لیٔے اِستعمال ہونا تھا وہ خُدا کو نذر ہو چُکی ہے،But you say that if anyone says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever you would have received from me is a gift devoted to God,’

6تو اُس پر اَپنے ’باپ یا ماں کی عزّت کرنا‘ فرض نہیں ہے۔ یُوں تُم نے اَپنی روایت سے خُدا کا کلام ردّ کر دیا ہے۔he need not honor his father or mother with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

7اَے ریاکاروں! حضرت یَشعیاہ نبی نے تمہارے بارے میں کیا خُوب نبُوّت کی ہے:You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you:

8” ’یہ اُمّت زبان سے تو میری تعظیم کرتی ہے، مگر اِن کا دِل مُجھ سے دُور ہے۔‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.

9یہ لوگ بے فائدہ میری پرستش کرتے ہیں؛ کیونکہ آدمیوں کے حُکموں کی تعلیم دیتے ہیں۔‘“They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”

10یِسوعؔ نے ہُجوم کو اَپنے پاس بُلاکر فرمایا، ”میری بات سُنو اَور سمجھنے کی کوشش کرو۔Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand.

11جو چیز اِنسان کے مُنہ میں جاتی ہے وہ اُسے ناپاک نہیں کرتی، لیکن جو اُس کے مُنہ سے نکلتی ہے، وُہی اُسے ناپاک کرتی ہے۔“A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but by what comes out of it.”

12تَب شاگردوں نے حُضُور کے پاس آکر کہا، ”کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ فریسیوں نے یہ بات سُن کر ٹھوکر کھائی ہے؟“Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”

13یِسوعؔ نے جَواب دیا، ”جو پَودا میرے آسمانی باپ نے نہیں لگایا، اُسے جڑ سے اُکھاڑ دیا جائے گا۔But Jesus replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by its roots.

14اُن کی پروا نہ کرو؛ وہ اَندھے رہنما ہیں۔ اَور اگر ایک اَندھا دُوسرے اَندھے کی رہنمائی کرنے لگے تو وہ دونوں گڑھے میں جا گِریں گے۔“Disregard them! They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

15پطرس نے گزارش کی، ”یہ تمثیل ہمیں سمجھا دیجئے۔“Peter said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”

16”کیا تُم ابھی تک ناسمجھ ہو؟“ یِسوعؔ نے پُوچھا۔“Do you still not understand?” Jesus asked.

17”کیا تُم نہیں جانتے کہ جو کُچھ مُنہ میں جاتا ہے وہ پیٹ میں پڑتا ہے اَور پھر بَدن سے خارج ہوکر باہر نکل جاتا ہے؟“Do you not yet realize that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then is eliminated?

18مگر جو باتیں مُنہ سے نکلتی ہیں، وہ دِل سے نکلتی ہیں اَور وُہی آدمی کو ناپاک کرتی ہیں۔But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man.

19کیونکہ بُرے خیال، قتل، زنا، جنسی بدفعلی، چوری، کُفر، جھُوٹی گواہی، دِل ہی سے نکلتی ہیں۔For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander.

20یہ اَیسی باتیں ہیں جو اِنسان کو ناپاک کرتی ہیں؛ لیکن بغیر ہاتھ دھوئے کھانا کھا لینا اِنسان کو ناپاک نہیں کرتا۔“These are what defile a man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile him.”

21پھر یِسوعؔ وہاں سے نکل کر صُورؔ اَور صیؔدا کے علاقہ کو روانہ ہویٔے۔Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon.

22اَور اُس علاقہ کی ایک کنعانی خاتُون حُضُور کے پاس آئی اَور پُکار کر کہنے لگی، ”اَے خُداوؔند، اِبن داویؔد، مُجھ پر رحم کر۔ میری بیٹی میں بدرُوح ہے جو اُسے بہت ستاتی ہے۔“And a Canaanite woman from that region came to Him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is miserably possessed by a demon.”

23مگر حُضُور نے اُسے کویٔی جَواب نہ دیا۔ لہٰذا حُضُور کے شاگرد پاس آکر آپ سے مِنّت کرنے لگے، ”اُسے رخصت کر دیجئے کیونکہ وہ ہمارے پیچھے چِلاّتے ہویٔے آ رہی ہے۔“But Jesus did not answer a word. So His disciples came and urged Him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

24حُضُور نے جَواب دیا، ”میں اِسرائیلؔ کے گھرانے کی کھوئی ہُوئی بھیڑوں کے سِوا کسی اَور کے پاس نہیں بھیجا گیا ہُوں۔“He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

25مگر اُس نے آکر حُضُور کو سَجدہ کرکے کہنے لگی، ”اَے خُداوؔند، میری مدد کر!“The woman came and knelt before Him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

26یِسوعؔ نے جَواب دیا، ”بچّوں کی روٹی لے کر کُتّوں کو ڈال دینا مُناسب نہیں ہے۔“But Jesus replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

27”ہاں خُداوؔند، کیونکہ کُتّے بھی اُن ٹُکڑوں میں سے کھاتے ہیں جو اُن کے مالکوں کی میز سے نیچے گِرتے ہیں۔““Yes, Lord,” she said, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

28اِس پر یِسوعؔ نے جَواب دیا، ”اَے خاتُون، تیرا ایمان بہت بڑا ہے! تیری اِلتجا قبُول ہُوئی۔“ اَور اُس کی بیٹی نے اُسی وقت شفا پائی۔“O woman,” Jesus answered, “your faith is great! Let it be done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

29یِسوعؔ وہاں سے نکل کر صُوبہ گلِیل کی جھیل سے ہوتے ہویٔے پہاڑ پر چڑھ کر وہیں بیٹھ گیٔے۔Moving on from there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee. Then He went up on a mountain and sat down.

30اَور ایک بڑا ہُجوم، اَندھوں، لنگڑوں، لُولوں، گُونگوں اَور کیٔی دُوسرے بیماریوں کو ساتھ لے کر آیا اَور اُنہیں حُضُور کے قدموں میں رکھ دیا اَور حُضُور نے اُنہیں شفا بخشی۔Large crowds came to Him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and laid them at His feet, and He healed them.

31چنانچہ جَب لوگوں نے دیکھا کہ گُونگے بولتے ہیں، لُولے تندرست ہوتے ہیں، لنگڑے چلتے ہیں اَور اَندھے دیکھتے ہیں تو بڑے حیران ہُوئے اَور اِسرائیلؔ کے خُدا کی تمجید کی۔The crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

32اَور یِسوعؔ نے اَپنے شاگردوں کو اَپنے پاس بُلایا اَور اُن سے فرمایا، ”مُجھے اِن لوگوں پر ترس آتا ہے؛ کیونکہ یہ تین دِن سے برابر میرے ساتھ ہیں اَور اِن کے پاس کھانے کو کُچھ نہیں رہا۔ میں اِنہیں بھُوکا ہی رخصت کرنا نہیں چاہتا، کہیں اَیسا نہ ہو کہ یہ راستے میں ہی بے ہوش ہو جایٔیں۔“Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”

33آپ کے شاگردوں نے جَواب دیا، ”اِس بیابان میں اِتنی روٹیاں کہاں سے لائیں کہ اِتنے بڑے ہُجوم کو کھِلا کر سیر کریں؟“The disciples replied, “Where in this desolate place could we find enough bread to feed such a large crowd?”

34یِسوعؔ نے اُن سے پُوچھا، ”تمہارے پاس کتنی روٹیاں ہیں؟“ اُنہُوں نے جَواب دیا، ”سات، اَور تھوڑی سِی چُھوٹی مچھلیاں ہیں۔““How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”

35یِسوعؔ نے ہُجوم سے فرمایا کہ سَب زمین پر بیٹھ جایٔیں۔And He instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground.

36اَور حُضُور نے وہ سات روٹیاں اَور مچھلیاں لے کر خُدا کا شُکر اَدا کیا، اَور اُن کے ٹکڑے کیٔے اَور اُنہیں شاگردوں کو دیتے گیٔے اَور شاگردوں نے اُنہیں لوگوں کو دیا۔Taking the seven loaves and the fish, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

37سَب نے پیٹ بھر کر کھایا۔ اَور جَب بچے ہویٔے ٹکڑے جمع کیٔے گیٔے تو سات ٹوکریاں بھر گئیں۔They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

38اَور کھانے والوں کی تعداد عورتوں اَور بچّوں کے علاوہ چار ہزار مَردوں کی تھی۔A total of four thousand men were fed, besides women and children.

39پھر ہُجوم کو رخصت کرنے کے بعد یِسوعؔ کشتی میں سوار ہویٔے اَور مگدنؔ کی سرحدوں کے لیٔے روانہ ہو گئے۔After Jesus had dismissed the crowds, He got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.
