1. 1URDOUCVچھ دِن کے بعد یِسوعؔ نے پطرس، یعقوب اَور اُس کے بھایٔی یُوحنّا کو اَپنے ساتھ لیا اَور اُنہیں ایک اُونچے پہاڑ پر الگ لے گیٔے۔BSBBSB: After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2. 2URDOUCVوہاں اُن کے سامنے حُضُور کی صورت بدل گئی۔ اَور حُضُور کا چہرہ سُورج کی مانِند چمکنے لگا اَور حُضُور کے کپڑے نُور کی مانِند سفید ہو گئے۔BSBBSB: There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
3. 3URDOUCVاُسی وقت حضرت مَوشہ اَور ایلیّاہ یِسوعؔ سے باتیں کرتے ہُوئے نظر آئے۔BSBBSB: Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus.
4. 4URDOUCVپھر پطرس نے یِسوعؔ سے کہا، ”اَے خُداوؔند، ہمارا یہاں رہنا اَچھّا ہے۔ اگر آپ چاہیں تو میں تین ڈیرے کھڑے کروں، ایک آپ کے لیٔے، ایک حضرت مَوشہ اَور ایک ایلیّاہ کے لیٔے۔“BSBBSB: Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You wish, I will put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5. 5URDOUCVوہ یہ کہہ ہی رہے تھے کہ ایک نُورانی بادل نے اُن پر سایہ کر لیا اَور اُس بادل میں سے آواز آئی، ”یہ میرا پیارا بیٹا ہے جِس سے میں مَحَبّت رکھتا ہُوں؛ اَور جِس سے میں بہت خُوش ہُوں، اِس کی بات غور سے سُنو!“BSBBSB: While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”
6. 6URDOUCVجَب شاگردوں نے یہ سُنا تو ڈر کے مارے مُنہ کے بَل زمین پر گِر گیٔے۔BSBBSB: When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown in terror.
7. 7URDOUCVلیکن یِسوعؔ نے پاس آکر اُنہیں چھُوا اَور فرمایا، ”اُٹھو، ڈرو مت۔“BSBBSB: Then Jesus came over and touched them. “Get up,” He said. “Do not be afraid.”
8. 8URDOUCVجَب اُنہُوں نے نظریں اُٹھائیں تو یِسوعؔ کے سِوا اَور کسی کو نہ دیکھا۔BSBBSB: And when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9. 9URDOUCVجَب وہ پہاڑ سے نیچے اُتر رہے تھے تو یِسوعؔ نے اُنہیں تاکید کی، ”جَب تک اِبن آدمؔ مُردوں میں سے جی نہ اُٹھے، جو کُچھ تُم نے دیکھاہے اِس واقعہ کا ذِکر کسی سے نہ کرنا۔“BSBBSB: As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about this vision until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
10. 10URDOUCVشاگردوں نے حُضُور سے پُوچھا، ”پھر شَریعت کے عالِم یہ کیوں کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ایلیّاہ کا پہلے آنا ضروُری ہے؟“BSBBSB: The disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
11. 11URDOUCVیِسوعؔ نے جَواب دیا، ”ایلیّاہ ضروُر آئے گا اَور سَب کُچھ بحال کرےگا۔BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things.
12. 12URDOUCVلیکن مَیں تُم سے کہتا ہُوں کہ ایلیّاہ تو پہلے ہی آ چُکاہے، اَور اُنہُوں نے اُسے نہیں پہچانا لیکن جَیسا چاہا وَیسا اُس کے ساتھ کیا۔ اِسی طرح اِبن آدمؔ بھی اُن کے ہاتھوں دُکھ اُٹھائے گا۔“BSBBSB: But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”
13. 13URDOUCVتَب شاگرد سمجھ گیٔے کہ وہ اُن سے یُوحنّا پاک غُسل دینے والے کے بارے میں کہہ رہے ہیں۔BSBBSB: Then the disciples understood that He was speaking to them about John the Baptist.
14. 14URDOUCVاَور جَب وہ ہُجوم کے پاس آئے تو ایک آدمی یِسوعؔ کے پاس آیا اَور آپ کے سامنے گھُٹنے ٹیک کر کہنے لگا۔BSBBSB: When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus and knelt before Him.
15. 15URDOUCV”اَے خُداوؔند، میرے بیٹے پر رحم کر، کیونکہ اُسے مِرگی کی وجہ سے اَیسے سخت دَورے پڑتے ہیں کہ وہ اکثر آگ یا پانی میں گِر پڑتا ہے۔BSBBSB: “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
16. 16URDOUCVاَور مَیں اُسے آپ کے شاگردوں کے پاس لایاتھا لیکن وہ اُسے شفا نہ دے سکے۔“BSBBSB: I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17. 17URDOUCVیِسوعؔ نے فرمایا، ”اَے بےاِعتقاد اَور ٹیڑھی پُشت، میں کب تک تمہارے ساتھ تمہاری برداشت کرتا رہُوں گا؟ لڑکے کو یہاں میرے پاس لاؤ۔“BSBBSB: “O unbelieving and perverse generation!” Jesus replied. “How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.”
18. 18URDOUCVیِسوعؔ نے بدرُوح کو ڈانٹا اَور وہ لڑکے میں سے نکل گئی اَور وہ اُسی وقت اَچھّا ہو گیا۔BSBBSB: Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
19. 19URDOUCVتَب شاگردوں نے تنہائی میں یِسوعؔ کے پاس آکر پُوچھا، ”ہم اِس بدرُوح کو کیوں نہیں نکال سکے؟“BSBBSB: Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20. 20URDOUCVحُضُور نے جَواب دیا، ”اِس لیٔے کہ تمہارا ایمان کم ہے۔ میں تُم سے سچ کہتا ہُوں کہ اگر تمہارا ایمان رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی ہوتا، تو، ’تُم اِس پہاڑ سے کہہ سکوگے کہ یہاں سے وہاں سَرک جا،‘ تو وہ سَرک جائے گا۔ اَور تمہارے لیٔے کویٔی کام بھی ناممکن نہ ہوگا۔BSBBSB: “Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
21. 21URDOUCVلیکن اِس قِسم کی بدرُوح دعا اَور روزہ کے بغیر نہیں نکلتی۔“BSBBSB: Not in the BSB

22. 22URDOUCVجَب وہ صُوبہ گلِیل میں ایک ساتھ جمع ہُوئے تو یِسوعؔ نے اُن سے فرمایا، ”اِبن آدمؔ آدمیوں کے حوالہ کیا جائے گا۔BSBBSB: When they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.
23. 23URDOUCVوہ اُسے قتل کر ڈالیں گے اَور وہ تیسرے دِن پھر سے جی اُٹھے گا۔“ شاگرد یہ سُن کر نہایت ہی غمگین ہُوئے۔BSBBSB: They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.
24. 24URDOUCVاَور جَب وہ کَفرنحُومؔ میں پہُنچے تَب، دو دِرہم بیت المُقدّس کا محصُول لینے والے پطرس کے پاس آکر پُوچھنے لگے کہ، ”کیا تمہارا اُستاد بیت المُقدّس کا مُقرّرہ محصُول اَدا نہیں کرتا؟“BSBBSB: After they had arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, “Does your Teacher pay the two drachmas?”
25. 25URDOUCVپطرس نے جَواب دیا، ”ہاں، اَدا کرتا ہے۔“ جَب پطرس گھر میں داخل ہُوئے تو یِسوعؔ نے پہلے یہی فرمایا، ”اَے شمعُونؔ! تمہارا کیا خیال ہے؟ دُنیا کے بادشاہ کِن لوگوں سے محصُول یا جزیہ لیتے ہیں؟ اَپنے بیٹوں سے یا غَیروں سے؟“BSBBSB: “Yes,” he answered. When Peter entered the house, Jesus preempted him. “What do you think, Simon?” He asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs and taxes: from their own sons, or from others?”
26. 26URDOUCVجَب پطرس نے کہا، ”غَیروں سے۔“ تَب یِسوعؔ نے فرمایا، ”پھر تو بیٹے بَری ہُوئے۔BSBBSB: “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the sons are exempt,” Jesus said to him.
27. 27URDOUCVلیکن ہم اُن کے لیٔے ٹھوکر کا باعث نہ ہوں، اِس لیٔے تُم جھیل پر جا کر بَنسی ڈالو اَورجو مچھلی پہلے ہاتھ آئے، اُس کا مُنہ کھولنا تو تُمہیں چار دِرہم کا سِکّہ ملے گا۔ اُسے لے جانا اَور ہم دونوں کے لیٔے محصُول اَدا کردینا۔“BSBBSB: “But so that we may not offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for My tax and yours.”
