Matthew 24 (URDOUCV)

1اَور یِسوعؔ بیت المُقدّس سے نکل کر باہر جا رہے تھے تبھی آپ کے شاگرد آپ کے پاس آئے تاکہ حُضُور کو بیت المُقدّس کی مُختلف عمارتیں دِکھائیں۔As Jesus left the temple and was walking away, His disciples came up to Him to point out its buildings.

2یِسوعؔ نے اُن سے فرمایا، ”کیا تُم یہ سَب کُچھ دیکھ رہے ہو؟ میں تُم سے سچ کہتا ہُوں کہ یہاں کویٔی ایک بھی پتّھر دُوسرے کے اُوپر باقی نہ رہے گا جو گرایا نہ جائے گا۔““Do you see all these things?” He replied. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3جَب حُضُور کوہِ زَیتُون پر بیٹھے تھے تو آپ کے شاگرد تنہائی میں آپ کے پاس آئے اَور پُوچھنے لگے، ”ہمیں بتائیں کہ یہ باتیں کب ہُوں گی اَور آپ کی آمد اَور دُنیا کے ختم ہونے کا نِشان کیا ہے؟“While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

4یِسوعؔ نے جَواب میں اُن سے فرمایا: ”خبردار! کویٔی تُمہیں گُمراہ نہ کر دے۔Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you.

5کیونکہ بہت سے میرے نام سے آئیں گے اَور دعویٰ کریں گے، ’میں ہی المسیح ہُوں،‘ اَور یہ کہہ کر بہت سے لوگوں کو گُمراہ کر دیں گے۔For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

6اَور تُم لڑائیوں کی خبریں اَور افواہیں سنوگے۔ خبردار! گھبرانا مت، کیونکہ اِن باتوں کا ہونا ضروُری ہے۔ لیکن ابھی خاتِمہ نہ ہوگا۔You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.

7کیونکہ قوم پر قوم اَور سلطنت پر سلطنت حملہ کرےگی۔ اَور جگہ جگہ قحط پڑیں گے اَور زلزلے آئیں گے۔Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

8یہ سَب آگے آنے والی مُصیبتوں کا یہ صِرف آغاز ہی ہوگا۔All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9”اُس وقت لوگ تُمہیں پکڑ پکڑکر سخت اِیذا دیں گے اَور تُمہیں قتل کریں گے، اَور ساری قومیں میرے نام کی وجہ سے تُم سے دُشمنی رکھیں گی۔Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.

10اُس وقت بہت سے لوگ ایمان سے برگشتہ ہوکر ایک دُوسرے کو پکڑوائیں گے اَور آپَس میں عداوت رکھیں گے۔At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another,

11اَور بہت سے جھُوٹے نبی اُٹھ کھڑے ہوں گے اَور بہت سے لوگوں کو گُمراہ کر دیں گے۔and many false prophets will arise and deceive many.

12اَور بے دینی کے بڑھ جانے کے سبب سے کیٔی لوگوں کی مَحَبّت ٹھنڈی پڑ جائے گی۔Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.

13لیکن جو آخِر تک برداشت کرےگا وہ نَجات پایٔےگا۔But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

14اَور اِس آسمانی بادشاہی کی خُوشخبری ساری دُنیا میں سُنایٔی جائے گی تاکہ سَب قوموں پر اِس کی گواہی ہو اَور تَب دُنیا کا خاتِمہ ہوگا۔And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15”پس جَب تُم اُس ’اُجاڑ دینے والی مکرُوہ چیز کو،‘ جِس کا ذِکر دانی ایل نبی نے کیا ہے، مُقدّس مقام میں کھڑا دیکھو (پڑھنے والا سمجھ لے)So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand),

16تَب اُس وقت جو یہُودیؔہ میں ہوں وہ پہاڑوں پر چلے جایٔیں۔then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

17جو کویٔی جو چھت پر ہو وہ نیچے نہ اُترے اَور نہ ہی گھر کے اَندر جا کر کُچھ باہر نکالنے کی کوشش کرے۔Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house.

18جو شخص کھیت میں ہو، اَپنا کپڑا لینے کے لیٔے واپس نہ جائے۔And let no one in the field return for his cloak.

19مگر حاملہ خواتین اَور اُن ماؤں کا جو اُن دِنوں میں دُودھ پِلاتی ہوں گی، وہ دِن کتنے خوفناک ہوں گے!How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!

20پس دعا کرو کہ تُمہیں سردیوں میں یا سَبت کے دِن بھاگنا نہ پڑے۔Pray that your flight will not occur in the winter or on the Sabbath.

21کیونکہ اُس وقت کی مُصیبت اَیسی بڑی ہوگی کہ دُنیا کے شروع سے نہ تو اَب تک آئی ہے اَور نہ پھر کبھی آئے گی۔For at that time there will be great tribulation, unseen from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.

22”اگر اُن دِنوں کی تعداد کم نہ کرتا تو، کویٔی جاندار زندہ نہ بچایا جاتا، لیکن چُنے ہُوئے لوگوں کی خاطِر اُن دِنوں کی تعداد کم کر دی جائے گی۔If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.

23اُس وقت اگر کویٔی تُم سے کہے کہ ’دیکھو،‘ المسیح ’یہاں ہے!‘ یا، ’وہ وہاں ہے!‘ تو یقین نہ کرنا۔At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.

24کیونکہ جھُوٹے المسیح اَور جھُوٹے نبی اُٹھ کھڑے ہوں گے اَور بڑے نِشانات اَور عجائبات کر دِکھائیں گے، تاکہ اگر ممکن ہو تو خُدا کے برگُزیدہ لوگوں کو بھی گُمراہ کر دیں۔For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.

25دیکھو، مَیں نے پہلے ہی تُمہیں بتا دیا ہے۔See, I have told you in advance.

26”پس اگر کویٔی تُم سے کہے، ’دیکھو وہ بیابان میں ہے، تو باہر نہ جانا؛ یا یہ کہ وہ اَندرونی کمروں میں ہے، تو یقین نہ کرنا۔‘ “So if they tell you, ‘There He is, in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Here He is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

27کیونکہ جَیسے بجلی مشرق سے چمک کر مغرب تک دِکھائی دیتی ہے وَیسے ہی اِبن آدمؔ کا آنا ہوگا۔For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

28جہاں مَرا ہُوا جانور ہوتاہے وہاں گِدھ بھی جمع ہو جاتے ہیں۔Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29اُن دِنوں کی مُصیبت کے بعد فوراً ” ’سُورج تاریک ہو جائے گا، اَور چاند کی رَوشنی جاتی رہے گی؛ آسمان سے سِتارے گِریں گے، اَور آسمان کی قُوّتیں ہلایٔی جایٔیں گی۔‘Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’

30”اَور اُس وقت اِبن آدمؔ کا نِشان آسمان پر دِکھائی دے گا اَور تَب زمین کی سَب قومیں چھاتی پیٹیں گی اَور اِبن آدمؔ کو آسمان کے بادلوں پر عظیم قُدرت اَور جلال کے ساتھ آتے دیکھیں گی۔At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31اَور حُضُور اَپنے فرشتوں کو نرسنگے کی تیز آواز کے ساتھ بھیجیں گے اَور وہ اَپنے برگُزیدہ لوگوں کو چاروں طرف سے یعنی آسمان کے ایک سِرے سے دُوسرے سِرے تک جمع کریں گے۔And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32”اَنجیر کے درخت سے یہ سبق سیکھو: جُوں ہی اُس کی ڈالی نرم ہوتی ہے اَور پتّے نکلتے ہیں تو تُمہیں مَعلُوم ہو جاتا ہے، کہ گرمی نزدیک ہے۔Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.

33اِسی طرح، جَب تُم یہ سَب باتیں ہوتے دیکھو، تو جان لو کہ وہ نزدیک ہے، بَلکہ دروازے ہی پر ہے۔So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door.

34میں تُم سے سچ کہتا ہُوں کہ اِس نَسل کے ختم ہونے سے پہلے ہی یہ سَب کُچھ پُورا ہوگا۔Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.

35آسمان اَور زمین ٹل جایٔیں گی لیکن میری باتیں کبھی نہیں ٹلیں گی۔Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

36”مگر وہ دِن اَور وقت کب آئے گا کویٔی نہیں جانتا، نہ تو آسمان کے فرشتے جانتے ہیں، اَور نہ بیٹا، صِرف آسمانی باپ جانتے ہیں۔No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37جَیسا حضرت نُوح کے دِنوں میں ہُوا تھا وَیسا ہی اِبن آدمؔ کی آمد کے وقت ہوگا۔As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38کیونکہ جِس طرح سیلاب سے پہلے کے دِنوں میں لوگ کھاتے پیتے اَور شادی کرتے کراتے رہے، جَب تک حضرت نُوح اُس لکڑی کے جہاز میں داخل نہ ہو گیٔے۔For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.

39اَور جَب تک کہ سیلاب آکر اُنہیں بہانہ لے گیا اُن سَب کو خبر تک نہ ہویٔی۔ اُسی طرح اِبن آدمؔ کی آمد بھی ہوگی۔And they were oblivious until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

40اُس وقت دو آدمی کھیت میں ہوں گے؛ ایک لے لیا جائے گا اَور دُوسرا چھوڑ دیا جائے گا۔Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.

41دو عورتیں چکّی پیستی ہوں گی؛ ایک لے لی جائے گی اَور دُوسری چھوڑ دی جائے گی۔Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

42”پس جاگتے رہو کیونکہ تُم نہیں جانتے کہ تمہارا خُداوؔند کِس دِن آئے گا۔Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come.

43لیکن یہ جان لو کہ اگر گھر کے مالک کو مَعلُوم ہو تاکہ چور رات کو کِس وقت آئے گا تو وہ جاگتا رہتا اَور اَپنے گھر میں نقب نہ لگنے دیتا۔But understand this: If the homeowner had known in which watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

44پس تُم بھی تیّار رہو کیونکہ جِس گھڑی تُمہیں اُمّید تک نہ ہوگی اِبن آدمؔ اُسی وقت آ جائے گا۔For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.

45”پھر وہ وفادار اَور ہوشیار خادِم کون سا ہے، جسے اُس کے مالک نے اَپنے گھر کے خادِموں پر مُقرّر کیا تاکہ اُنہیں وقت پر کھانا دیا کرے؟Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time?

46وہ خادِم مُبارک ہے جِس کا مالک آئے تو اُسے اَیسا ہی کرتے پایٔے۔Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

47میں تُم سے سچ کہتا ہُوں کہ وہ اَپنی ساری مِلکیّت کی دیکھ بھال کا اِختیار اُس کے حوالے کر دے گا۔Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

48لیکن اگر وہ خادِم بُرا نکلے اَور اَپنے دِل میں کہنے لگے، میرے مالک کے آنے میں ابھی دیر ہے،But suppose that servant is wicked and says in his heart, ‘My master will be away a long time.’

49اَور اَپنے ساتھیوں کو مارنے پیٹنے لگے اَور شرابیوں کے ساتھ کھانا پینا شروع کر دے۔And he begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.

50تو اُس خادِم کا مالک کسی اَیسے دِن واپس آ جائے گا، جِس کی اُسے اُمّید نہ ہوگی، اَور جِس گھڑی کی اُسے خبر نہ ہوگی۔The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate.

51تو وہ اُسے غضبناک سزا دے گا اُس کا اَنجام ریاکاروں کے جَیسا ہوگا جہاں وہ روتا اَور دانت پیستا رہے گا۔Then he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
