1. 1URDOUCVیَاہوِہ کا فرمان سُن: ”اُٹھ، پہاڑوں کے سامنے اَپنا مُعاملہ پیش کر؛ اَور ٹیلے تیرے بَیان کو سُنیں۔BSBBSB: Hear now what the LORD says: “Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice.
2. 2URDOUCV”اَے پہاڑو اَور اَے زمین کی غَیر فانی بُنیادو، یَاہوِہ کا اِلزام سُنو۔ کیونکہ اَپنے لوگوں کے خِلاف یَاہوِہ کا ایک مُقدّمہ ہے؛ وہ اِسرائیل پر فردِ جُرم لگاتاہے۔BSBBSB: Hear, O mountains, the LORD’s indictment, you enduring foundations of the earth. For the LORD has a case against His people, and He will argue it against Israel:
3. 3URDOUCV”اَے میرے لوگو، مَیں نے تُم سے کیا کیا؟ اَور تمہارے اُوپر کیسے بوجھ لادا؟ جَواب دو۔BSBBSB: ‘My people, what have I done to you? Testify against Me how I have wearied you!
4. 4URDOUCVمیں تُمہیں مُلک مِصر سے نکال کر باہر لایا، اَور فدیہ دے کر غُلامی کے مُلک سے چھُڑایا۔ مَیں نے مَوشہ، اَہرونؔ اَور مِریمؔ کو، تمہاری رہنمائی کے لیٔے بھیجا۔BSBBSB: For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery. I sent Moses before you, as well as Aaron and Miriam.
5. 5URDOUCVمیرے لوگو، یاد کرو، کہ شاہِ مُوآب بلقؔ نے تُمہیں کیا مشورہ دیا، اَور بِلعاؔم بِن بعورؔ کے بیٹے بِلعاؔم نے اُسے کیا جَواب دیا۔ شِطِّیمؔ سے گِلگالؔ تک کے اَپنے سفر کو یاد کرو، تاکہ یَاہوِہ کے راستبازی کے کاموں کو جان لو۔“BSBBSB: My people, remember what Balak king of Moab counseled and what Balaam son of Beor answered. Remember your journey from Shittim to Gilgal, so that you may acknowledge the righteousness of the LORD.’”
6. 6URDOUCVمیں کیا لے کر یَاہوِہ کے حُضُور میں آؤں، اَور خدائے تعالیٰ کو کیسے سَجدہ کروں؟ کیا سوختنی نذروں، اَور ایک سالہ بچھڑوں کے ساتھ اُس کے حُضُور میں آؤں؟BSBBSB: With what shall I come before the LORD when I bow before the God on high? Should I come to Him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?
7. 7URDOUCVکیا یَاہوِہ ہزار مینڈھوں، اَور تیل کی دس ہزار نہروں سے خُوش ہونگے؟ کیا میں اَپنی سرکشی کے عوض اَپنے پہلوٹھے کو دُوں، اَپنی جَوانی کے پھل کو اَپنی جان کے گُناہوں کے بدلے میں دے دُوں؟BSBBSB: Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8. 8URDOUCVاَے اِنسان، اُنہُوں نے تُجھے دِکھا دیا کہ نیکی کیا چیز ہے، اَور یَاہوِہ تُجھ سے کیا چاہتے ہیں؟ یہ کہ تُو اِنصاف اَور رحمدلی کو عزیز رکھے، اَور اَپنے خُدا کے سامنے فروتنی سے چلے۔BSBBSB: He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
9. 9URDOUCVسُنو، یَاہوِہ شہر کو پُکارتے ہیں۔ آپ کے نام سے ڈرنا حِکمت ہے۔ ”عصا اَور اُس کے مُقرّر کرنے والے کی سُنو۔BSBBSB: The voice of the LORD calls out to the city (and it is sound wisdom to fear Your name): “Heed the rod and the One who ordained it.
10. 10URDOUCVاَے بدکار گھرانے، کیا میں اَب بھی تیرا ناجائز منافع، اَور کم پیمانے کو جو نفرت کا باعث ہیں، بھُول جاؤں؟BSBBSB: Can I forget any longer, O house of the wicked, the treasures of wickedness and the short ephah, which is accursed?
11. 11URDOUCVکیا میں اَیسے آدمی کو چھوڑ دُوں جو دغا کے ترازو رکھتا ہے، اَور غلط باٹوں کا تھیلہ رکھتا ہے؟BSBBSB: Can I excuse dishonest scales or bags of false weights?
12. 12URDOUCVتمہارے دولتمند ظالِم ہیں؛ تمہارے باشِندے جھُوٹ بولتے ہیں۔ اُن کی زبانیں دغابازی کی باتیں کرتی ہیں۔BSBBSB: For the wealthy of the city are full of violence, and its residents speak lies; their tongues are deceitful in their mouths.
13. 13URDOUCVاِس لیٔے مَیں نے تُجھے غارت کرنا، اَور تیرے گُناہوں کے سبب سے تُجھے برباد کرنا شروع کر دیا ہے۔BSBBSB: Therefore I am striking you severely, to ruin you because of your sins.
14. 14URDOUCVتُو کھائے گا پر آسُودہ نہ ہوگا؛ تیرا پیٹ نہ بھرے گا۔ جمع کرےگا لیکن بچا نہ پایٔےگا، کیونکہ جو کچھ تُو بچائے گا میں اُسے تلوار کے حوالہ کر دُوں گا۔BSBBSB: You will eat but not be satisfied, and your hunger will remain with you. What you acquire, you will not preserve; and what you save, I will give to the sword.
15. 15URDOUCVتُو بوئے گا پر فصل نہ پایٔےگا؛ زَیتُون کا تیل نکالے گا لیکن اِستعمال نہ کرےگا، انگور روندےگا پر مَے نہ پیئے گا۔BSBBSB: You will sow but not reap; you will press olives but not anoint yourselves with oil; you will tread grapes but not drink the wine.
16. 16URDOUCVتُو عُمریؔ کے قوانین، اَور احابؔ کے خاندان کے اعمال کی پیروی کرتا ہے، اَور اُن کے رِواج مانتا ہے۔ اِس لیٔے مَیں تُجھے ویران کروں گا، اَور تیرے لوگوں کو مذاق کا باعث بناؤں گا؛ وہ ساری قوموں میں تمسخر کا باعث بنیں گے۔“BSBBSB: You have kept the statutes of Omri and all the practices of Ahab’s house; you have followed their counsel. Therefore I will make you a desolation, and your inhabitants an object of contempt; you will bear the scorn of the nations.”
