1. 1ULBLời rao báo về Mô-áp. Thật, chỉ trong một đêm mà thành A của Mô-áp bị tang hoang và tiêu hủy; thật chỉ trong một đêm mà thành Kiệt của Mô-áp bị tàn phá và sụp đổ.BSBBSB: This is the burden against Moab: Ar in Moab is ruined, destroyed in a night! Kir in Moab is devastated, destroyed in a night!
2. 2ULBChúng đã lên đền miếu, dân thành Đi-hôn đi lên những nơi cao mà khóc; Mô-áp than khóc Nê-bô và Mê-đê-ba. Mọi đầu đều cạo nhẵn, mọi râu đều cắt trụi.BSBBSB: Dibon goes up to its temple to weep at its high places. Moab wails over Nebo, as well as over Medeba. Every head is shaved, every beard is cut off.
3. 3ULBChúng mặc đồ tang ngoài đường phố; trên sân thượng lẫn nơi quãng trường, mọi người đều than khóc, thương tiếc trong nước mắt.BSBBSB: In its streets they wear sackcloth; on the rooftops and in the public squares they all wail, falling down weeping.

9. 9ULBVì nước tại Đi-môn thì đầy máu; nhưng Ta thậm chí sẽ giáng xuống Đi-môn thêm nữa.
