2 ULB “Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên phán như vầy: Ta đã bẻ ách do vua Ba-by-lôn đặt. BSB BSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 ULB Trong vòng hai năm, Ta sẽ đem về nơi này mọi vật dụng của nhà Đức Giê-hô-va mà Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa vua Ba-by-lôn đã lấy khỏi nơi đây và đem đến Ba-by-lôn. BSB BSB: Within two years I will restore to this place all the articles of the house of the LORD that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and carried to Babylon.
4 ULB Sau đó, Ta sẽ đem Giê-hô-gia-kin, con Giê-hô-gia-kim, vua Giu-đa, và tất cả phu tù Giu-đa đã bị bắt qua Ba-by-lôn về đây– Đức Giê-hô-va phán vậy– vì Ta sẽ bẻ ách của vua Ba-by-lôn.” BSB BSB: And I will restore to this place Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, along with all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon,’ declares the LORD, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”
5 ULB Vậy, tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói với tiên tri Ha-na-nia trước mặt các thầy tế lễ và toàn thể dân sự đang đứng nơi nhà Đức Giê-hô-va. BSB BSB: Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the LORD.
6 ULB Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói: “Nguyện Đức Giê-hô-va làm điều này! Nguyện Đức Giê-hô-va chứng thực lời mà ông đã nói tiên tri và đem về nơi này những vật dụng của nhà Đức Giê-hô-va, cùng tất cả các phu tù từ Ba-by-lôn. BSB BSB: “Amen!” Jeremiah said. “May the LORD do so! May the LORD fulfill the words you have prophesied, and may He restore the articles of His house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.

10 ULB Nhưng tiên tri Ha-na-nia cất cái ách khỏi cổ tiên tri Giê-rê-mi và bẻ nó. BSB BSB: Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke it.
11 ULB Sau đó, Ha-na-ni nói trước mặt toàn thể dân sự: “Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Cũng vậy, trong vòng hai năm, Ta sẽ bẻ ách của Nê-bu-ca-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, khỏi cổ từng dân.” Tiên tri Giê-rê-mi bỏ đi. BSB BSB: And in the presence of all the people Hananiah proclaimed, “This is what the LORD says: ‘In this way, within two years I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon off the neck of all the nations.’” At this, Jeremiah the prophet went on his way.
12 ULB Sau khi tiên tri Ha-na-ni đã bẻ ách khỏi cổ tiên tri Giê-rê-mi, Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Giê-rê-mi rằng, BSB BSB: But shortly after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke off his neck, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
13 ULB “Hãy đi đến nói với Ha-na-nia rằng: ‘Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Ngươi đã bẻ ách bằng gỗ, nhưng Ta sẽ làm một ách bằng sát.’ BSB BSB: “Go and tell Hananiah that this is what the LORD says: ‘You have broken a yoke of wood, but in its place you have fashioned a yoke of iron.’
14 ULB Vì Đức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, Đức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên phán như vầy: Ta đã đặt một ách bằng sắt trên cổ tất cả các dân này để chúng phục vụ Nê-bu-cát-nết-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, và chúng sẽ phục vụ nó. Ta cũng đã phó cho nó những thú hoang ngoài đồng đặng cai trị. BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations to make them serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I have even given him control of the beasts of the field.’”
15 ULB Kế đó, tiên tri Giê-rê-mi nói với tiên tri Ha-na-nia: “Hỡi Ha-na-nia, hãy nghe! Đức Giê-hô-va không sai ông đi, nhưng chính ông đã khiến dân này tin vào những lời nói dối. BSB BSB: Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah! The LORD did not send you, but you have persuaded this people to trust in a lie.
16 ULB Vậy Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Kìa, Ta sẽ đuổi ngươi khỏi mặt đất. Năm nay ngươi sẽ chết, vì ngươi tuyên bố chống nghịch Đức Giê-hô-va.” BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. You will die this year because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.’”
17 ULB Và tiên tri Ha-na-nia chết vào tháng bảy trong cùng năm đó. BSB BSB: And in the seventh month of that very year, the prophet Hananiah died.
