1. 1ULBĐức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Môi-se:BSBBSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
2. 2ULB"Hãy nói với dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, rằng: 'Nếu một người nữ mang thai rồi sanh một con trai, khi ấy người sẽ bị ô uế trong bảy ngày, y như người bị ô uế trong suốt thời kỳ kinh nguyệt của người.BSBBSB: “Say to the Israelites, ‘A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be unclean for seven days, as she is during the days of her menstruation.
3. 3ULBĐến ngày thứ tám đứa trẻ phải chịu phép cắt bì.BSBBSB: And on the eighth day the flesh of the boy’s foreskin is to be circumcised.
4. 4ULBKhi ấy sự thanh sạch của người mẹ đối với việc xuất huyết của người sẽ tiếp tục trong ba mươi ba ngày. Người không được chạm đến bất kỳ vật thánh nào hoặc đến trong khu vực đền tạm cho đến khi kỳ tinh sạch của người đã xong rồi.BSBBSB: The woman shall continue in purification from her bleeding for thirty-three days. She must not touch anything sacred or go into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are complete.
5. 5ULBnếu nàng sanh một bé gái, khi ấy người sẽ bị ô uế trong hai tuần, như trong kỳ kinh nguyệt. Khi ấy kỳ tinh sạch của người mẹ sẽ tiếp tục trong sáu mươi sáu ngày.BSBBSB: If, however, she gives birth to a daughter, the woman will be unclean for two weeks as she is during her menstruation. Then she must continue in purification from her bleeding for sixty-six days.
6. 6ULBKhi những ngày tinh sạch của người mãn rồi, dù là trai hay gái, người phải đem chiên con một tuổi làm của lễ thiêu, và chim bồ câu con hay chim bồ câu làm của lễ chuộc tội, ngay lối vào của nơi nhóm lại, dâng cho thầy tế lễ.BSBBSB: When the days of her purification are complete, whether for a son or for a daughter, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering.
7. 7ULBKhi ấy, thầy tế lễ sẽ dâng nó lên trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va và làm sự chuộc tội cho người, và người sẽ được sạch không còn xuất huyết nữa. Đây là luật lệ về một người nữ sanh con, một là con trai hay con gái.BSBBSB: And the priest will present them before the LORD and make atonement for her; and she shall be ceremonially cleansed from her flow of blood. This is the law for a woman giving birth, whether to a male or to a female.
8. 8ULBếu người không thể dâng một chiên con, khi ấy người phải bắt hai con chim bồ câu hoặc hai chim cu, một làm của lễ thiêu và con kia làm của lễ chuộc tội, và thầy tế lễ sẽ làm sự chuộc tội cho người; khi ấy người sẽ được sạch'".BSBBSB: But if she cannot afford a lamb, she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. Then the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”
