BSB BSB: Nadab and Abihu, however, died in the presence of the LORD when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD in the Wilderness of Sinai. And since they had no sons, only Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron.
5 ULB Đức Giê-hô-va phán với Môi-se, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
6 ULB “Hãy đem chi phái Lê-vi đến trình diện thầy tế lễ A-rôn để họ giúp đỡ người. BSB BSB: “Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.
7 ULB Họ phải thay mặt A-rôn và cả dân chúng thi hành nhiệm vụ trước lều hội họp. Họ phải hầu việc ở đền tạm. BSB BSB: They are to perform duties for him and for the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, attending to the service of the tabernacle.
8 ULB Họ phải coi sóc tất cả đồ đạc trong lều hội họp, và giúp đỡ các chi phái Y-sơ-ra-ên phục vụ đền tạm. BSB BSB: They shall take care of all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting and fulfill obligations for the Israelites by attending to the service of the tabernacle.

12 ULB “Này, Ta đã chọn người Lê-vi từ giữa dân Y-sơ-ra-ên để thay thế con trưởng nam của Y-sơ-ra-ên. Người Lê-vi thuộc về Ta. BSB BSB: “Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel in place of every firstborn Israelite from the womb. The Levites belong to Me,
13 ULB Tất cả con đầu lòng đều thuộc về Ta. Vào ngày Ta giết hại con đầu lòng ở Ai Cập, Ta đã biệt riêng tất cả con đầu lòng của Y-sơ-ra-ên, cả con người lẫn động vật. Chúng thuộc về Ta. Ta là Đức Giê-hô-va.” BSB BSB: for all the firstborn are Mine. On the day I struck down every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated to Myself all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast. They are Mine; I am the LORD.”
14 ULB Đức Giê-hô-va phán với Môi-se trong hoang mạc Si-nai, BSB BSB: Then the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15 ULB “Hãy thống kê con cháu Lê-vi theo gia đình và gia tộc. Thống kê mọi người nam từ một tháng tuổi trở lên.” BSB BSB: “Number the Levites by their families and clans. You are to count every male a month old or more.”
16 ULB Môi-se thống kê họ y theo sự hướng dẫn của Đức Giê-hô-va, như Ngài đã truyền. BSB BSB: So Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he had been commanded.

Và ngươi hãy lấy súc vật của người Lê-vi thay cho con đầu lòng của bầy gia súc trong dân Y-sơ-ra-ên.” BSB BSB: You are to take the Levites for Me—I am the LORD—in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites.”
42 ULB Môi-se đếm tất cả con trưởng của người Y-sơ-ra-ên như Đức Giê-hô-va đã truyền cho ông. BSB BSB: So Moses numbered all the firstborn of the Israelites, as the LORD had commanded him.

46 ULB Ngươi hãy lấy năm siếc-lơ để chuộc từng người trong số 273 con trưởng của người Y-sơ-ra-ên, nhiều hơn số người Lê-vi. BSB BSB: To redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who outnumber the Levites,
