Sing to the LORD, All the Earth (1 Chronicles 16:23–36)
1 WBS O sing to the LORD a new song: sing to the LORD, all the earth. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 WBS Sing to the LORD, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD, bless His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.
3 WBS Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. BSB BSB: Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
4 WBS For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. BSB BSB: For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
5 WBS For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. BSB BSB: For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is the LORD who made the heavens.
6 WBS Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. BSB BSB: Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty fill His sanctuary.
7 WBS Give to the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give to the LORD glory and strength. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
8 WBS Give to the LORD the glory due to his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. BSB BSB: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and enter His courts.
9 WBS O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. BSB BSB: Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.
10 WBS Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he will judge the people righteously. BSB BSB: Declare among the nations: “The LORD reigns!” The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 WBS Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness of it. BSB BSB: Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea resound, and all that fills it.
12 WBS Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the LORD: BSB BSB: Let the fields exult, and all that is in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy
13 WBS For he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. BSB BSB: before the LORD, for He is coming—He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.
