2. 1WBSAnd after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.BSBBSB: After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back its four winds so that no wind would blow on land or sea or on any tree.
3. 2WBSAnd I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,BSBBSB: And I saw another angel ascending from the east, with the seal of the living God. And he called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:
4. 3WBSSaying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.BSBBSB: “Do not harm the land or sea or trees until we have placed a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
5. 4WBSAnd I heard the number of them who were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.BSBBSB: And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel:
6. 5WBSOf the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.BSBBSB: From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000,

9. 8WBSOf the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.BSBBSB: from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, and from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.

11. 9WBSAfter this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and languages, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;BSBBSB: After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.
12. 10WBSAnd cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb.BSBBSB: And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
13. 11WBSAnd all the angels stood around the throne, and about the elders and the four living beings, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God,BSBBSB: And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. And they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God,
14. 12WBSSaying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be to our God for ever and ever. Amen.BSBBSB: saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
15. 13WBSAnd one of the elders answered, saying to me, Who are these that are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?BSBBSB: Then one of the elders addressed me: “These in white robes,” he asked, “who are they, and where have they come from?”
16. 14WBSAnd I said to him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.BSBBSB: “Sir,” I answered, “you know.” So he replied, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
17. 15WBSTherefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne will dwell among them.BSBBSB: For this reason, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.
18. 16WBSThey shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.BSBBSB: ‘Never again will they hunger, and never will they thirst; nor will the sun beat down upon them, nor any scorching heat.’
19. 17WBSFor the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them, and will lead them to living fountains of waters: and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.BSBBSB: For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. ‘He will lead them to springs of living water,’ and ‘God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”
