BSB BSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4 WLO Rampaakanamo sumai ingkami taburi sura incia sii to ingkomiu, mamudhaakana amondo kaunde-undeta. BSB BSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.

BSB BSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6 WLO Ande ingkita tapogau taposaangu tee Aulataʼala, garaaka ingkita dhaangiapo mboomo mia moosena dhala momalalanda, maʼanana ingkita tagau-gau tee inda tapewau kabanara. BSB BSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 WLO Maka ande taose dhala momainawa mopokanana tee Aulataʼala momainawana, sumaimo ingkita sadhaadhaa taposaangu tee manga witinaita mosaʼiimani, tee o raana Isa o Anana Aulataʼala, mangapekangkilona minaaka i bhari-bharia dosata. BSB BSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
9 WLO Maka ande ingkita taʼakui manga dosata, sumaimo o Aulataʼala momembalina motoparacaea tee mobanara sumai, bheaʼamponia manga dosata tee mangapekangkilo minaaka i bhari-bharia kadhaki. BSB BSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 WLO Ande ingkita tapogau ande indapo mina tapewau dosa, sumaimo ingkita taabhi Aulataʼala agau-gau tee firimanina inda dhaangia i nuncana ngangarandata. BSB BSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
