2 WYC Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris? BSB BSB: “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
3 WYC Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore. BSB BSB: Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.
4 WYC Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner. BSB BSB: Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.
5 WYC Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued. BSB BSB: They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 WYC I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God. BSB BSB: I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’
7 WYC But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis. BSB BSB: But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”
8 WYC Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis. BSB BSB: Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.
