Lord, thou hast blessid thi lond; thou hast turned awei the caitifte of Jacob. BSB BSB: For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. You showed favor to Your land, O LORD; You restored Jacob from captivity.
2 WYC Thou hast foryoue the wickidnesse of thi puple; thou hast hilid alle the synnes of hem. BSB BSB: You forgave the iniquity of Your people; You covered all their sin. Selah
3 WYC Thou hast aswagid al thin ire; thou hast turned awei fro the ire of thin indignacioun. BSB BSB: You withheld all Your fury; You turned from Your burning anger.
4 WYC God, oure helthe, conuerte thou vs; and turne awei thin ire fro vs. BSB BSB: Restore us, O God of our salvation, and put away Your displeasure toward us.
5 WYC Whether thou schalt be wrooth to vs withouten ende; ether schalt thou holde forth thin ire fro generacioun in to generacioun? BSB BSB: Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to all generations?
6 WYC God, thou conuertid schalt quykene vs; and thi puple schal be glad in thee. BSB BSB: Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?
7 WYC Lord, schewe thi merci to vs; and yyue thin helthe to vs. BSB BSB: Show us Your loving devotion, O LORD, and grant us Your salvation.
8 WYC I schal here what the Lord God schal speke in me; for he schal speke pees on his puple. And on hise hooli men; and on hem that ben turned to herte. BSB BSB: I will listen to what God the LORD will say; for He will surely speak peace to His people and His saints; He will not let them return to folly.
9 WYC Netheles his helthe is niy men dredynge him; that glorie dwelle in oure lond. BSB BSB: Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that His glory may dwell in our land.
10 WYC Merci and treuthe metten hem silf; riytwisnesse and pees weren kissid. BSB BSB: Loving devotion and faithfulness have joined together; righteousness and peace have kissed.
11 WYC Treuthe cam forth of erthe; and riytfulnesse bihelde fro heuene. BSB BSB: Faithfulness sprouts from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 WYC For the Lord schal yyue benignyte; and oure erthe schal yyue his fruyt. BSB BSB: The LORD will indeed provide what is good, and our land will yield its increase.
13 WYC Riytfulnesse schal go bifore him; and schal sette hise steppis in the weie. BSB BSB: Righteousness will go before Him to prepare the way for His steps.
