Colossians 2 (YER)

N ɗom pa̱ o nyi apir nlung va̱ mmami ka̱ nlung ka̱kul wo ka̱ onəm oga aLawudisiya ka̱ nkpaktak aɓo onəm va̱ oma ya mi ká̱ iwu chit ka̱t a.For I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me face to face,

Nnap va uKəristi a.that they may be encouraged in heart, knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete understanding, so that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ,

Uwa amé ka̱ atak mbwam akum ìjili aghan ka̱ nkpaktak nnyi.in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

N nla iya̱m va̱ ta̱ awo ka̱kul kang unəm ro a lam wo ka̱ nchang anung ka̱t.I say this so that no one will deceive you by smooth rhetoric.

N nyinyi mmami nzəng ká̱ wo iwu ká̱ iwu ka̱t. Ka̱ nna kpa te, aruhu mi nna yà nzəng ká̱ wo. Igwak mi chang ka̱kul n ya mmawó ka̱ nnəm iya̱m pa̱ dakdak ka̱ asəsa̱l nzəng ka̱ ntong kəkam ka̱ ashe nna nnandər wo ká̱ uKəristi. For although I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, and I delight to see your orderly condition and firm faith in Christ.

O ma̱n chit o ka̱m uYesu Kəristi uPonzhi te, re o sat ká̱ uwa. Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him,

O pá ìjili a kəkam. O me o rup ka̱ ashishe. O ga mpyal ka̱ nkam ka̱ ashe nna nnandər wo wa nva ma ɗyang awo. Pa̱ ɗəkər te, o na aɗəngchi Înan pa̱ makmak.rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Kang o ma̱n unəm ro a pá ikan awo ka̱ atak nɗyang ngbəsak ka̱ nnáp atam awon aga nlam onəm va dakdak ka̱ nnap mmatmat va onəm a pak. Nɗyang oza̱ nja aKəristi ka̱t.See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ.

Ka̱kul ka̱ ashishe na nkpaktak nnap nnəm Inan ká̱ ishi wò təm ká̱ izər.For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form.

O ya nkpaktak irirì chit ka̱ ashishe. Uza̱ va uwa ishi ka̱ apal ishi nkpaktak iponzhi ká̱ ichumchum a.And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Mpà va nja anəm ka̱t. UKəristi a pà awo. Mpà ache va̱ ta nna ntur nnap nnəm wo nja anəm pa̱ a fa ka̱ ashe wo.In Him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands.

Ma li wo chit kpa nzəng ka̱ na ka̱ atak nnəm abaptisima. Ma won ká̱ wo ka̱ atak ikú chit nzəng ka̱ na ka̱ atak nna nnandər wo ká̱ ichumchum Inan. Uwa won ka̱ na ka̱ atak ikú.And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Ka̱ ya te, ka̱ o kú chit ka̱ ashe nnap-mɓá̱ngɓa̱ng wo, o təm ka̱ ache amulur va nnap nnəm ngga izər a. Te Inan nak wo o tong onəm oga irirì nzəng ká̱ uKəristi ka̱ nva̱n nyar nnap-mɓá̱ngɓa̱ng va̱ uza̱ yar ayi a.When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses,

Asang nnap-mpakpak aMusa va̱ ran yi ká̱ iya̱m va̱ nnap-mpakpak va̱ ta là pa̱ ma nəm te, uza̱ pà chit le ayi kpa. Uza̱ yar iya̱m va̱ ta pak ka̱ apal akun ikú wò.having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross!

Uza̱ vyat iya̱m-wór onəm oga nnyam ìkàm ká̱ ichumchum. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Ka̱kul nva̱ ta te, kan a ɗak wo ka̱t a yà pa̱ unəm ro a ɓəp wo ka̱ akwali ro ka̱ apal ishi nnap iya̱m irírí, ka̱t te iwawa, ka̱t te nnap awop apakpak, ka̱t te nnap nka̱m apye apipye ro, ka̱t te nnap nkpak alum aga njul ka̱t.Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath.

Iya̱m va̱ ta pa̱ kpaktak wa ala̱ka̱n na pa mwan. Ala̱ka̱n iya̱m va ka̱ mɓa a. Iya̱m va̱ inandər te, nna uKəristi. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ.

Kang o ma̱n unəm ro a nak wo o lan imwa Inan ka̱t. Unəm va i yen ká̱ ishi ro iga akwam. Uza̱ i zhat ka̱ nnap ngwop oma̱leka. Uza̱ i ɗyemchi ka̱ nshal alár va̱ pa̱ o ya. Nrəng nnənap apir nja anəm nak na uza̱ ɓul ká̱ nyar mbal ro ngga nyà ká̱ ipir ka̱t.Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you with speculation about what he has seen. Such a person is puffed up without basis by his unspiritual mind.

Uza̱ pətar chit le ká̱ izər ishi va uKəristi. Ka̱ atak ishi va ta na kang nkpaktak mɓan izər ka̱ nya iya̱m-nrì i ri. Ká̱ izəzər na kpa oza̱ gwang tong ka̱ atak ichip ka̱ ngwang mɓan izər. Oza̱ ka̱ nrup apir nrup va Inan i nak.He has lost connection to the head, from whom the whole body, supported and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows as God causes it to grow.

Sang kang o təm ka̱ nkpak nnap-mpakpak va nja anəm, ka̱ nɗyang anəm yà?If you have died with Christ to the spiritual forces of the world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its regulations:

Nna pa̱, <<Kang ma kpán nyang ka̱t. Kang ma mà nyang ka̱t. Kang ma dok nyang ka̱t.>>“Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!”?

Nnap mpakpak va̱ ta ka̱ apal ishi iya̱m va mí nəm inok ka̱ oza̱ te, i ləlak. Iya̱m va̱ ta nnap-mpakpak anəm. Nɗyang anəm na kpa. These will all perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings.

Apir iya̱m va̱ ta nak atak nfa izər fa ka̱ aghan ka̱ apal ishi nnap awop va unəm a pak ká̱ ishi wò, ka̱ apir nyen ká̱ ishi ro ngga akwam, ka̱ apir nnyán ká̱ izər ro. Ka̱ nna kpa te, ka̱ oza̱ yà ká̱ ichumchum ro i ga nɗa̱t unəm ka̱ nnyam nnap nnəm wò nji anəm ka̱t.Such restrictions indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-prescribed worship, their false humility, and their harsh treatment of the body; but they are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.
