Psalm 146 (YLT)

Praise ye Jah! Praise, O my soul, Jehovah.Hallelujah! Praise the LORD, O my soul.

I praise Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

Trust not in princes — in a son of man, For he hath no deliverance.Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save.

His spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his earth, In that day have his thoughts perished. When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish.

O the happiness of him Who hath the God of Jacob for his help, His hope is on Jehovah his God,Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that is in them, Who is keeping truth to the age,the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He remains faithful forever.

Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry. He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free,

Jehovah is loosing the prisoners, Jehovah is opening (the eyes of) the blind, Jehovah is raising the bowed down, Jehovah is loving the righteous, the LORD opens the eyes of the blind, the LORD lifts those who are weighed down, the LORD loves the righteous.

Jehovah is preserving the strangers, The fatherless and widow He causeth to stand, And the way of the wicked He turneth upside down. The LORD protects foreigners; He sustains the fatherless and the widow, but the ways of the wicked He frustrates.

Jehovah doth reign to the age, Thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise ye Jah!The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Hallelujah!
