17Minlonguki miandi mitebuka moyo ti busonama : A Nzambi, luzolo luidi yama mu diambu di nzoꞌaku luawu luela kuphondisa.His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”

18Bayuda bamvutudila : —A kumu mbi wulenda vanga mu kutumonisa ti bukiedika lulendo luidiyaku luvangila mambu moso momo e ?On account of this, the Jews demanded, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do these things?”

19Yesu wuba kamba : —Tiolumunanu Nzo Nzambi yayi, ndiela kuyitungila mu bilumbu bitatu.Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.”

20Buna Bayuda batuba : —Mu makumaya ayi mimvu minsambanu nzo Nzambi yayi yitungulu vayi ngeyo mu bilumbu bitatu kuandi fueti buela kuyitungila ?“This temple took forty-six years to build,” the Jews replied, “and You are going to raise it up in three days?”

21Vayi niandi wuyolukila nzo Nzambi yi nitu andi.But Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body.

22Yesu bu kafuluka mu bafua, minlonguki miandi mitebuka moyo ti wutuba buawu. Buna miwilukila masonuku ayi mambu momo matuba Yesu.After He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
