1. 1YORÀwọn apanirun ti dìde sí ọ, ìwọ Ninefe. Pa ilé ìṣọ́ mọ́, ṣọ́ ọ̀nà náà, di àmùrè, ẹ̀gbẹ́ rẹ kí ó le múra gírí.BSBBSB: One who scatters advances against you, O Nineveh. Guard the fortress! Watch the road! Brace yourselves! Summon all your strength!
2. 2YOROlúwa yóò mú ọláńlá Jakọbu padà sípò gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọláńlá Israẹli bí ó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé àwọn apanirun ti pa ibẹ̀ run, tí wọ́n sì ba ẹ̀ka àjàrà wọn jẹ́.BSBBSB: For the LORD will restore the splendor of Jacob like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and ruined the branches of their vine.
3. 3YORAsà àwọn ọmọ-ogun rẹ̀ sì di pupa; àwọn ológun wọn sì wọ aṣọ òdòdó.
