In My Father’s House Are Many Rooms 2 AKJV In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. BSB BSB: In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
3 AKJV And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also. BSB BSB: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.

12 AKJV Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father. BSB BSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
13 AKJV And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. BSB BSB: And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit (John 16:5–16)

22 AKJV Judas says to him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world? BSB BSB: Judas (not Iscariot) asked Him, “Lord, why are You going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”
24 AKJV He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. BSB BSB: Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. The word that you hear is not My own, but it is from the Father who sent Me.

Peace I Leave with You 29 AKJV And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, you might believe. BSB BSB: And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.
30 AKJV Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me. BSB BSB: I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me.
31 AKJV But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. BSB BSB: But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Get up! Let us go on from here.
