1 ULB የአሮን ልጆች አመዳደብ እንደ ሚከተለው ነበረ፤ የኦ ልጆች ናዳብ፣ አብድዩ፣ አልዓዛር፣ ኢታምር፣ ነበሩ። BSB BSB: These were the divisions of the descendants of Aaron. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 ULB ናዳብና አብድዩ ግን ዘር ሳይተኩ ከአባታቸው በፊት ሞቱ፤ ስለዚህ አልዓዛርና ኢታምር ካህናት ሆነው ያገለግሉ ነበር። BSB BSB: But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.
3 ULB ዳዊትም የአላዓዛር ዘር የሆነው ሳዶቅና የኢታምር ዘር ሆነው አቢሜሌክ እየረዱ እንደየአገልግሎታቸው ሥርዓት እየለየ መደባቸው። BSB BSB: With the help of Eleazar’s descendant Zadok and Ithamar’s descendant Ahimelech, David divided them according to the offices of their service.
4 ULB ከኢታምር ይልቅ በአልዓዛር ዘሮች መካከል ብዙ መሪዎች ተገኙ፤ አከፋፈላቸውም እንደሚከተለው ነበር፤ ከአልዓዛር ዘሮች ዐሥራ ስድስት የቤተሰብ አለቆች። BSB BSB: Since more leaders were found among Eleazar’s descendants than those of Ithamar, they were divided accordingly. There were sixteen heads of families from the descendants of Eleazar and eight from the descendants of Ithamar.
5 ULB ከአልዓዛርና ከኢታምር ዘሮች መካከል የመቅደሱ ሹማምትና የእግዚአብሔር ሹማምት ስለ ነበሩ፣ ያለ አድልዎ በዕጣ ለዩአቸው። BSB BSB: Thus they were divided by lot, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God among both Eleazar’s and Ithamar’s descendants.
6 ULB የሌዋውያ የናትናኤል ልጅ ጻሓፊው ሸማያ በንጉሥና በሹማምቱ፣ በካህኑ በሳዶቅ፣ በአብያታር ልጅ በአሜሌክ እንዲሁም በካህናቱና በሌዋውያኑ ቤተሰብ አለቆች ፊት ስማቸውን ጻፊ፤ የጻፈውም አንዱን ቤተሰብ ከአልዓዛር ሌላውን ደግሞ ከኢታምር በመወሰድ ነው፤ BSB BSB: The scribe, Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and of the officers: Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites—one family being taken from Eleazar, and then one from Ithamar.
7 ULB የመጀመሪያው ዕጣ ለዮአሩብ፣ ሁለተኛውም ዕጣ ለዮዳሄ ወጣ። BSB BSB: The first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8 ULB ሦስተኛው ለካሪም፣ አራተኛው ለሥዖሪም፣ BSB BSB: the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 ULB አምስተኛው ለመልክያ፣ ስድስተኛው፤ BSB BSB: the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 ULB ሰባተኛው ለአቆስ፣ ስምንተኛው ለአብያ፣ BSB BSB: the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 ULB ዘጠናኝው ለኢያሱ፣ ዐሥረኛ ለሴኬንያ፣ BSB BSB: the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 ULB ዐሥራ አንደኛው ልች ኤሊያሴብምም ዐሥራ ሁለተኛው ለያቂም፣ BSB BSB: the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 ULB ዐሥራ ሦስተኛው ለኦፓ፣ዐሣር አራተኛው ለየሼብአብ፣ BSB BSB: the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 ULB ዐሥራ ሰባተኛው ለቢልጋ፣ ዐሥራ ስድስተኛው ለኢሜር፤ BSB BSB: the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 ULB ዐሥራ ሰባተኛው ለኤዚር፣ ዐሥራ ስምንተኛው ለሃፊጼጽ፣ BSB BSB: the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 ULB ዐሥራ ዘጠነኛው ለፈታያ፣ ሃያኛው ለኤዜቄል፣ BSB BSB: the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 ULB ሃያ አንደኛው ለያኪያ፣ ሃያ ሁለተኛው ለጋሙል፣ BSB BSB: the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 ULB ሃያ ሦስተኛው ለድላያ፣ ሃያ አራተኛ ለመዓዝያ ውጣ። BSB BSB: the twenty-third to Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 ULB የእስራኤል አምላክ እግዚአብሔር ባዘዘውና ከቀድሞ አባታቸው ከአሮን በተሰጣቸው መመሪያ መጠረት ወደ እግዞአብሔር ቤተ መቅደስ በሚገቡበት ጊዜ፣ የተወሰነላቸው ሥርዐት ይህ ነበር። BSB BSB: This was their appointed order for service when they entered the house of the LORD, according to the regulations prescribed for them by their forefather Aaron, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
20 ULB የቀሩት የሌዊ ዘሮች አግሚ፦ከእንበረም ወንዶች ልጆች፤ ሱባኤል፤ ከሱባኤል ወንዶች ልጆች፤ ዬሕድያ። BSB BSB: Now these were the rest of the descendants of Levi: From the sons of Amram: Shubael; from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
21 ULB ከረዓብያ ወንዶች ልጆች፤ አለቃው ይሺው። BSB BSB: As for Rehabiah, from his sons: The first was Isshiah.
22 ULB ከይስዓራውያን ወገን፤ ሰሎሚት ከሰሎሚት ወንዶች ልጆች፤ ያሐት። BSB BSB: From the Izharites: Shelomoth; from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 ULB የኬብሮን ወንዶች ልጆች፤ የመጀመሪያው ይሪያ፣ ሁለተኛው አማርያ፣ ሦስተኛው የሕዚኤል፣ አራተኛው ይቀምዓም። BSB BSB: From the sons of Hebron: Jeriah was the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
24 ULB የዑዝኤል ልጅ፤ ሚካ። የሚካ ወንዶች ልጆች ሻሚር። BSB BSB: From the sons of Uzziel: Micah; from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
25 ULB የሚካ ወንድም ይሺያ፤ ከይሺያ ወንዶች ልጆች ዘካርያስ። BSB BSB: The brother of Micah: Isshiah; from the sons of Isshiah: Zechariah.
26 ULB የሜራሪ ወንዶች ልጆች፤ሞሖሊምም ሙሲ።የያዝያ ወንድ ልጅ በኖ፤ BSB BSB: The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 ULB የሜራሪ ወንዶች ልጆች፤ ከያዝያ በኖ፣ ሾሃም፣ ዘኩር፣ ዔብሪ። BSB BSB: The descendants of Merari from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 ULB ከሞሒሊ፤ አልዓዛር፤ ይህ ሰው ወንዶች ልጆች አልነበሩትም። BSB BSB: From Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 ULB ከቂስ፣ የቂስ ወንድ ልጅ፤ ይረሕምኤል። BSB BSB: From Kish: Jerahmeel the son of Kish.
30 ULB የሙሲ ወንዶች ልጆች፤ ሞሖሊ፣ ዔዳር፣ ኢያሪሙት። እነዚህ እንግዲህ እንደቤተሰባቸው የተቁጠሩ ሌዋውያን ነበሩ። BSB BSB: And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites, according to their families.
31 ULB ወንድሞቻቸው የአሮን እንዳደረጉት ሁሉ፣ እነዚህም በንጉሥ ዳዊት፣ በሳዶቅ፣ በአቢሜሌክ እንዲሁም የካህናቱ የሌዋውያኑ ቤተሰብ አለቆች ባሉበት ዕጣ ተጣጣሉ፤ የበኩሩም ቤተሰቦች እንደ ትንሹ ወንድም ቤተሰብ እኩል ዕጣ ተጣለላቸው። BSB BSB: As their brothers the descendants of Aaron did, they also cast lots in the presence of King David and of Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the families of the priests and Levites—the family heads and their younger brothers alike.
