2 ULB ቤተ መቅደሱም በውስጥ በኩል ርዝመቱ ሃያ ሰባት ሜትር፣ ወርዱ ዘጠኝ ሜትር፣ ቁመቱ ዐሥራ ሦስት ሜትር ተኩል ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The house that King Solomon built for the LORD was sixty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high.
3 ULB በመግቢያው በር የሚገኘው በረንዳ ቁመቱ አራት ሜትር ተኩል፣ ወርዱ ልክ እንደ ቤተ መቅደሱ ዘጠኝ ሜትር ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The portico at the front of the main hall of the temple was twenty cubits long, extending across the width of the temple and projecting out ten cubits in front of the temple.
4 ULB የቤተ መቅደሱም ሕንፃ ከውስጥ ሰፋ፣ ከውጪ ጠበብ ያሉ መስኮቶች ነበሩት፡፡ BSB BSB: He also had narrow windows framed high in the temple.
5 ULB በቤተ መቅደሱን ሕንፃ ፊት ለፊት ግድግዳ ዙሪያ ክፍሎችን ሠራ፤ በዋናው መግቢያ በር በውጪና በውስጥ ክፍሎች ሠራ፤ በዙሪያውም ክፍሎችን አደረገ፡፡ BSB BSB: Against the walls of the temple and the inner sanctuary, Solomon built a chambered structure around the temple, in which he constructed the side rooms.
6 ULB የታችኛው ፎቅ ክፍል ወርዱ አምስት ክንድ፣ የመካከለኛ ፎቅ ክፍል ስድስት ክንድ፣ የሦስተኛው ፎቅ ክፍል ወርድ ሰባት ክንድ ነበር፤ የእንያዳንዱ ወለል ግንብ ከታች በኩል ካለው የወለል ግንብ የሳሳ ነበር፤ ሠረገሎቹ ወደ ቤተ መቅደሱ ግድግዳ እንዳይገቡ ለማድረግ ከቤተ መቅደሱ ግድግዳ ውጪ ዐረፍቶችን አደረገ፡፡ BSB BSB: The bottom floor was five cubits wide, the middle floor six cubits, and the third floor seven cubits. He also placed offset ledges around the outside of the temple, so that nothing would be inserted into its walls.
7 ULB ቤተ መቅደሱ የታነጸባቸው ድንጋዮች ተጠርበው የተዘጋጁት በዚያው በተፈለጡበት ቦታ ነበር፤ ቤተ መቅደሱ በሚሠራበት ጊዜ የመዶሻ፣ የመጥረቢያ ወይም የሌላ ብረት ነክ መሣሪያ ድምፅ አይሰማም ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The temple was constructed using finished stones cut at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any other iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.
8 ULB ከቤተ መቅደሱ በስተደቡብ በኩል በምድር ደረጃው ላይ መግቢያ በር ነበር፡፡ ከዚያ በደረጃዎቹ መካከለኛ ደረጃ ወደ ላይ ያስኬዳል፡፡ እንዲሁም ከመካከለኛው ደረጃ ወደ ሦስተኛ ደረጃ ይወስዳል፡፡ BSB BSB: The entrance to the bottom floor was on the south side of the temple. A stairway led up to the middle level, and from there to the third floor.
9 ULB በዚህ ሁኔታ ሰሎሞን የቤተ መቅደሱን ሕንፃ ሥራ ፈጸመ፤ ጣራውንም ከውስጥ በኩል ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት በተሠራ አግዳሚ ሠረገላና ጠርብ ቤቱን ሸፈነው፡፡ BSB BSB: So Solomon built the temple and finished it, roofing it with beams and planks of cedar.
10 ULB የእያዳንዱ ፎቅ ቁመት አምስት ክንድ ከፍታ ሆኖ ከውጪ በኩል ወደ ቤተ መቅደሱ ተጠግቶ የተሠራው ባለ ሦስት ፎቅ ተጨማሪ ሕንፃ ከዋናው ሕንፃዎች ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ በተሠሩት አግዳሚ ወራጆች የተያያዘ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: He built chambers all along the temple, each five cubits high and attached to the temple with beams of cedar.
11 ULB የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ወደ ሰሎሞን እንዲህ ሲል መጣ፡- BSB BSB: Then the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying:
12 ULB እየተሠራ ያለውን ቤተ መቅሰደስ በተመለከተ፣ በትእዛዜ መንገድ ብትሄድና ቅን ፍርድ ብታደርግ ለአባትህ ለዳዊት እንዳደረግሁ የሰጠሁትን ተስፋ አጸናልሃለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: “As for this temple you are building, if you walk in My statutes, carry out My ordinances, and keep all My commandments by walking in them, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father David.
13 ULB በሕዝቤ በእስራኤል መካከል እኖራለሁ፣ ከቶም አልተዋቸውም፡፡ BSB BSB: And I will dwell among the Israelites and will not abandon My people Israel.”
14 ULB ስለዚህ ሰሎሞን ቤተ መቅደሱን ሠርቶ ጨረሰ፡፡ BSB BSB: So Solomon built the temple and finished it.
15 ULB ከዚያ የቤተ መቅደሱን የውስጥ ግድግዳዎች በሊባኖስ ዝግባ ሠራ፤ ከወለሉ እስከ ጣራው ድረስ ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት ተጠርበው በተሠሩ ሳንቃዎች ለበደ፤ የወለሉም ጣውላ ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት የተሠራ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: He lined the interior walls with cedar paneling from the floor of the temple to the ceiling, and he covered the floor with cypress boards.
16 ULB ውስጣዊ ክፍል ከቤተ መቅደሱ በስተ ኋላ ገባ ብሎ ተሠራ፣ የእርሱም ርዝመት ዘጠኝ ሜትር ሲሆን ከወለሉ እስከ ጣራው ድረስ ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት ተጠርቦ በተሠራ ሳንቃ የተከፈለ ነበር፤ ይህንን ክፍል ቅድሰተ ቅዱሳን ውስጠኛ ክፍል እንዲሆን ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: He partitioned off the twenty cubits at the rear of the temple with cedar boards from floor to ceiling to form within the temple an inner sanctuary, the Most Holy Place.
17 ULB ከቅድስተ ቅዱሳኑ ፊት ለፊት የሚገኘውም የተቀደሰ ክፍል ርዝመት አርባ ክንድ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: And the main hall in front of this room was forty cubits long.
18 ULB የሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት ሳንቃዎች በአበባ እንቡጦችና በፈኩ አበባዎች ቅርጽ አጊጠው ነበር፤ ውስጡም ሁሉ ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት ተጠርቦ በተሠራ ሳንቃ ስለ ተለበጠ የግንቡ ድንጋዮች አይታዩም ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The cedar paneling inside the temple was carved with gourds and open flowers. Everything was cedar; not a stone could be seen.
19 ULB ሰሎሞንም ከቤተ መቅደሱ ውስጥ በስተኋላ በኩል የእግዚአብሔር የቃል ኪዳን ታቦት የሚቀመጥበት ውስጣዊ ክፍል አዘጋጀ፡፡ BSB BSB: Solomon also prepared the inner sanctuary within the temple to set the ark of the covenant of the LORD there.
20 ULB ይህም ውስጣዊ ክፍል ርዝመቱ ዘጠኝ ሜትር፣ ወርዱ ዘጠኝ ሜትር፣ ቁመቱ ዘጠኝ ሜትር ሲሆን፣ በሙሉ በንጹሕ ወርቅ የተለበጠ ነበር፤ መሠዊያውም ከሊባኖስ ዛፍ እንጨት ተጠርቦ በተሠራ ሳንቃ የተለበጠ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold, and he also overlaid the altar of cedar.
21 ULB ሰሎሞንም ቤተ መቅደሱን በውስጥ በኩል በንጹሕ ወርቅ ለበጠው፤ እርሱም ክፈፉን በተሸጋገሩ የወርቅ ሰንሰለቶች አስጌጠው፡፡ BSB BSB: So Solomon overlaid the inside of the temple with pure gold, and he extended gold chains across the front of the inner sanctuary, which was overlaid with gold.
22 ULB የቅድስት ቅዱሳኑ ውስጠኛ በወርቅ ለበጠው፡፡ BSB BSB: So he overlaid with gold the whole interior of the temple, until everything was completely finished. He also overlaid with gold the entire altar that belonged to the inner sanctuary.
23 ULB ሰሎሞንም እያንዳንዱ ዐሥር ክንድ የሆነ ከወይራ እንጨት በሁለት ኪሩቤል አምሳል የተቀረጹ ሥዕሎች በቅድስተ ቅዱሳኑ ውስጥ ሠራ፡፡ BSB BSB: In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim, each ten cubits high, out of olive wood.
24 ULB የኪሩቡ አንደኛው ክንፍ አምስት ክንድ፤ የኪሩቡም ሁለተኛው ክንፍ አምስት ክንድ ነበረ፤ ከአንደኛው ክንፍ ጫፍ ጀምሮ እስከ ሁለተኛው ክንፍ ጫፍ ድረስ ዐሥር ክንድ ነበረ፡፡ BSB BSB: One wing of the first cherub was five cubits long, and the other wing was five cubits long as well. So the full wingspan was ten cubits.
25 ULB ሁለተኛውም ኪሩብ ዐሥር ክንድ ነበረ፤ የሁለቱም ኪሩቤል ቅርጽና መጠን ተመሳሳይ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The second cherub also measured ten cubits; both cherubim had the same size and shape,
26 ULB የአንዱ ኪሩብ ቁመት ዐሥር ክንድ ነበረ፤ የሁለተኛውም ኪሩብ እንዲሁ ነበረ፡፡ BSB BSB: and the height of each cherub was ten cubits.
27 ULB ኪሩቤልንም በቅድስት ቅዱሳኑ ውስጥ እንዲቆሙ አደረገ፤ ስለዚህም የተዘረጉ ሁለቱ ክንፎቻቸው በክፍሉ መካከለኛ ቦታ ላይ ተገናኝተው ሌሎቹ ሁለቱ ክንፎቻቸው ደግሞ በተዘረጉበት አቅጣጫ ግንቦቹን ይነኩ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: And he placed the cherubim inside the innermost room of the temple. Since their wings were spread out, the wing of the first cherub touched one wall, while the wing of the second cherub touched the other wall, and in the middle of the room their wingtips touched.
28 ULB ሰሎሞንም ሁለቱን ኪሩቤል በወርቅ ለበጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He also overlaid the cherubim with gold.
29 ULB የዋናውን ክፍልና የውስጠኛውን ክፍል ግንቦች በሙሉ በኪሩቤል፣ በዘንባባ ዛፎችና በፈኩ የአበባ ቅርጾች አስጌጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then he carved the walls all around the temple, in both the inner and outer sanctuaries, with carved engravings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.
30 ULB እርሱም ከውስጥና ከውጪ በኩል ያሉትን ክፍሎች ወለል በወርቅ ለበጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: And he overlaid the temple floor with gold in both the inner and outer sanctuaries.
31 ULB ከወይራ እንጨት የተሠራ ሁለት ተካፋች በር በቅድስተ ቅዱሳኑ መግቢያ እንዲቆም አደረገ፤ በሩም አምስት ማእዘን ያለው ሆኖ አናቱ ላይ ቀጥ ብሎ የተሠራ ቅስት ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: For the entrance to the inner sanctuary, Solomon constructed doors of olive wood with five-sided doorposts.
32 ULB ሁለቱን በሮች በኪሩቤል፤ በዘንባባ ዛፎችና በፈኩ የአበባ ቅርጾች አስጌጣቸው፤ እርሱም በሮቹን፣ ኪሩቤልን፣ የዘንባባ ዛፎቹንና ቅርጾቹን በወርቅ ለበጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: The double doors were made of olive wood, and he carved into them cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers and overlaid the cherubim and palm trees with hammered gold.
33 ULB በዚህ ዓይነት ሰሎሞን ደግሞ ወደ ዋናው ክፍል ለሚያደርሰው መግቢያ በር ከወይራ እንጨት የተሠራ ባለ አራት ማእዘን ክፈፍ አበጀለት፡፡ BSB BSB: In the same way he made four-sided doorposts of olive wood for the sanctuary entrance.
34 ULB ሁሉቱንም በሮች ከዝግባ እንጨት ሠራ፤ አንዱ በር በማጠፊያ ከተያያዘ ከሁለት ሳንቃ ተደረገ፤ ሁለተኛውም በር በማጠፊያ ከተያያዘ ከሁለት ሳንቃ ተደረገ፡፡ BSB BSB: The two doors were made of cypress wood, and each had two folding panels.
35 ULB እነርሱን ሙሉ በሙሉ በወርቅ በተለበጡ በኪሩቤል፣ በዘንባባ ዛፎችና በፈኩ የአበባ ቅርጾች አስጌጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He carved into them cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and he overlaid them with gold hammered evenly over the carvings.
36 ULB በቤተ መቅደሱ ፊት ለፊት አንድ የውስጥ አደባባይ ሠራ፤ በዚህም አደባባይ ዙሪያ በየሦስቱ ዙር የድንጋይ ረድፍ አንድ የሊባኖስ ዛፍ ሠረገላ ሳንቃ የተጋደመበት ግንብ አደረገ፡፡ BSB BSB: Solomon built the inner courtyard with three rows of dressed stone and one row of trimmed cedar beams.
37 ULB የእግዚአብሔር ቤተ መቅደስ መሠረቱ የተጣለው ሰሎሞን በነገሠ በአራተኛው ዓመት ዚፍ ተብሎ በሚጠራው በሁለተኛው ወር ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: The foundation of the house of the LORD was laid in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign, in the month of Ziv.
38 ULB ሰሎሞን በነገሠ በዐሥራ አንደኛ ዓመቱ ቡል ተብሎ በሚጠራው በስምንተኛው ወር ላይ የቤተ መቅደሱ ሁሉም ክፍሎችና ሁሉም ንድፍ ተጠናቀቀ፡፡ ሰሎሞንም ቤተ መቅደሱን ለመሥራት ሰባት ዓመት ወሰደበት፡፡ BSB BSB: In the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, the eighth month, the temple was finished in every detail and according to every specification. So he built the temple in seven years.
