1 ULB ሁሉም ነገር ከተጠናቀቀ በኋላ እዚያ የተገኙት የእስራኤል ሰዎች ሁሉ ወደ ይሁዳ ከተሞች ወጥተው የአምልኮ ድንጋይ ምሶሶዎችን ሰባበሩ፤ የማምለኪያ ዐፀዶቹን ቆረጡ፤ በይሁዳና በብንያም ሁሉ መስገጃዎችንና መሠዊያዎችን ሰባበሩ፤ ሁሉንም እስኪያጠፉ ድረስ ይህንኑ በኤፍሬምና በምናሴም ጭምር አደረጉት። ከዚያም የእስራኤል ሰዎች ሁሉ እያንዳንዱ ወደ ገዛ ምድሩና ወደ ገዛ ከተማው ተመለሰ። BSB BSB: When all this had ended, the Israelites in attendance went out to the cities of Judah and broke up the sacred pillars, chopped down the Asherah poles, and tore down the high places and altars throughout Judah and Benjamin, as well as in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the Israelites returned to their cities, each to his own property.
2 ULB ሕዝቅያስም ካህናቱንና ሌዋውያኑን በየሥራ ክፍል በማደራጀት ለካህናቱና ለሌዋውያኑ ለእያንዳንዱ ሥራ በመስጠት በየአገልግሎታቸው መደባቸው። የሚቃጠል መሥዋዕትና የሕብረት መሥዋዕት እንዲያቀርቡ፥ እንዲያገለግሉ፥ እንዲያመሰግኑና በእግዚአብሔር ቤተ መቅደስ በሮች እንዲያወድሱ መደባቸው። BSB BSB: Hezekiah reestablished the divisions of the priests and Levites—each of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—for the burnt offerings and peace offerings, for ministry, for giving thanks, and for singing praises at the gates of the LORD’s dwelling.
3 ULB በእግዚአብሔር ሕግ ተጽፎ እንደነበረውም ለሚቃጠል መሥዋዕት ማለትም ለጠዋትና ለማታ የሚቃጠል መሥዋዕት፥ ለሰንበት ቀናት፥ ለመባቻዎቹና ለመደበኛ በዓላትም የሚቃጠል መሥዋዕት ከንጉሡ ከገዛ ራሱ ሃብት ድርሻውን መደበ። BSB BSB: The king contributed from his own possessions for the regular morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moons, and appointed feasts, as written in the Law of the LORD.
4 ULB በተጨማሪም ካህናቱና ሌዋውያኑ የእግዚአብሔርን ሕግ በመታዘዝ ላይ እንዲያተኩሩ በኢየሩሳሌም የሚኖሩ ሰዎች ለካህናቱና ሌዋውያኑ ድርሻቸውን እንዲሰጡ አዘዘ። BSB BSB: Moreover, he commanded the people living in Jerusalem to make a contribution for the priests and Levites so that they could devote themselves to the Law of the LORD.
5 ULB ትእዛዙ እንደወጣም የእስራኤል ሕዝብ የእህሉን፥ የአዲሱን ወይን፥ የዘይቱን፥ የማሩን እንዲሁም ከእርሻው መከር ሁሉ በኩራት አትረፍርፈው ሰጡ፤ የሁሉንም ነገር አሥራትም አትረፍርፈው አመጡ። BSB BSB: As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously provided the firstfruits of the grain, new wine, oil, and honey, and of all the produce of the field, and they brought in an abundance—a tithe of everything.
6 ULB በይሁዳ ከተሞች የሚኖሩ የእስራኤልና የይሁዳ ሕዝብ የበሬዎቹንና በጎቹን አሥራት፥ ለአምላካቸው ለእግዚአብሔር የተሰጡ ነገሮችን ጭምር አሥራት አምጥተው ከምረው አስቀመጡት። BSB BSB: And the Israelites and Judahites who lived in the cities of Judah also brought a tithe of their herds and flocks and a tithe of the holy things consecrated to the LORD their God, and they laid them in large heaps.
7 ULB በሦስተኛው ወር መከመር ጀምረው በሰባተኛው ወር ጨረሱ። BSB BSB: In the third month they began building up the heaps, and they finished in the seventh month.
8 ULB ሕዝቅያስና መሪዎቹ መጥተው ክምሮቹን ሲያዩ እግዚአብሔርንና ሕዝቡን እስራኤልን ባረኩ። BSB BSB: When Hezekiah and his officials came and viewed the heaps, they blessed the LORD and His people Israel.
9 ULB ሕዝቅያስም ካህናቱንና ሌዋውያኑን ስለ ክምሩ ጠየቀ። BSB BSB: Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and Levites about the heaps,
10 ULB የሳዶቅም ቤት የሆነው ሊቀ ካህን ዓዛርያስ፦" ሕዝቡ ሥጦታዎቻቸውን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ቤት ማምጣት ከጀመሩ አንስቶ በልተናል፤ ጠግበናልም፤ እግዚአብሔርም ሕዝቡን ስለባረከ ብዙ ተርፎአል። የተረፈውም ነገር ይህ እዚህ ያለው ታላቅ መጠን ነው" ብሎ መልስ ሰጠ። BSB BSB: and Azariah, the chief priest of the household of Zadok, answered him, “Since the people began to bring their contributions into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and there is plenty left over, because the LORD has blessed His people; this great abundance is what is left over.”
11 ULB ከዚያም ሕዝቅያስ በእግዚአብሔር ቤት ውስጥ መጋዘኖች እንዲዘጋጁ አዘዘ፤ እነርሱም አዘጋጇቸው። BSB BSB: Then Hezekiah commanded them to prepare storerooms in the house of the LORD, and they did so.
12 ULB ሥጦታዎቹን፥ አሥራቱንና የእግዚአብሔር የሆኑትን ነገሮች በታማኝነት አመጡ። ሌዋዊው ኮናንያ የበላያቸው አስተዳዳሪ ነበር፤ ወንድሙም ሰሜኢ በደረጃ ከእርሱ ቀጥሎ ሁለተኛ ነበረ። በንጉሡም በሕዝቅያስና በእግዚአብሔር ቤት ላይ ባለ ሥልጣን በነበረው በዓዛርያስ የተሾሙ፥ ከኮናንያና ከወንድሙ ከሰሜኢ እጅ በታች BSB BSB: And they faithfully brought in the contributions, tithes, and dedicated gifts. Conaniah the Levite was the officer in charge of them, and his brother Shimei was second.
13 ULB ይሒዒል፥ ዓዛዝያ፥ ናሖት፥ አሣኤል፥ ይሬሞት፥ ዮዛባት፥ ኤሊኤል፥ ሰማኪያ፥ መሐት፥ በናያስ አስተዳዳሪዎች ነበሩ። BSB BSB: Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath, and Benaiah were overseers under the authority of Conaniah and his brother Shimei, by appointment of King Hezekiah and of Azariah the chief official of the house of God.
14 ULB ሌዋዊው የይምና ልጅ የምሥራቁ በር ጠባቂ ቆሬ ለእግዚአብሔር የተቀደሱትን ሥጦታዎችና በእግዚአብሔር የበጎ ፈቃድ ሥጦታዎች ላይ የበላይ ሆኖ ለእግዚአብሔር የቀረቡ ሥጦታዎችን ለማከፋፈል አዛዥ ነበር። BSB BSB: Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the East Gate, was in charge of the freewill offerings given to God, distributing the contributions to the LORD and the consecrated gifts.
15 ULB ከበታቹም በካህናቱ ከተሞች ውስጥ ዔድን፥ ሚንያሚን፥ ኢያሱ፥ ሽማያ፥ አማርያና ሴኬንያ ነበሩ። እነዚህን ሥጦታዎች ለታላላቆቹና ለታናናሾቹ ወንድሞቻቸው እንደየሥራ ክፍላቸው ለመስጠት በመታመን ሥልጣን ተሰጣቸው። BSB BSB: Under his authority, Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah faithfully distributed portions to their fellow priests in their cities, according to their divisions, old and young alike.
16 ULB በዕለታዊ የጊዜ ሰሌዳ እንደሚጠበቅባቸው ወደ እግዚአብሔር ቤት የሚገቡ ሁሉ በቦታቸው ሆነው በየሥራ ክፍላቸው ሥራቸውን ለመሥራት በዘር ሐረጋቸው ተቆጥረው የነበሩ ሦስት ዓመትና ከዚያ በላይ ለሆኑ ወንዶችም ሰጡ። BSB BSB: In addition, they distributed portions to the males registered by genealogy who were three years of age or older—to all who would enter the house of the LORD for their daily duties for service in the responsibilities of their divisions—
17 ULB በቦታቸው ሆነው በየሥራ ክፍላቸው ሥራቸውን ለመሥራት በአባቶቻቸው ቤቶች በዘር ሐረጋቸው ተቆጥረው የነበሩ ሌዋውያን ሃያ ዓመትና ከዚያ በላይ ለሆኑትም ሰጡ። BSB BSB: and to the priests enrolled according to their families in the genealogy, as well as to the Levites twenty years of age or older, according to their responsibilities and divisions.
18 ULB በዘር ሐረጋቸው ተቆጥረው ለነበሩ ለሕፃናቱ፥ ለሚስቶቻቸው፥ ለወንዶችና ለሴቶች ልጆቻቸው ሁሉ በመላው ሕዝብ መካከል በተቀደሰ ሁኔታ በአመኔታ ለተሰጣቸው ሥልጣን ራሳቸውን ለእግዚአብሔር ስለቀደሱ ለእነርሱም ሰጡ። BSB BSB: The genealogy included all the little ones, wives, sons, and daughters of the whole assembly. For they had faithfully consecrated themselves as holy.
19 ULB በየከተማቸው ወይም በከተሞቹ ሁሉ ባሉ መንደሮች መስኮች ላይ ለነበሩ ለአሮን ዝርያዎች በካህናቱ መካከል ለሁሉም ወንዶች በስማቸው ድርሻቸውን ለመስጠትና በሌዋውያን መካከል እንደሆኑ በትውልድ ሐረጋቸው ለተቆጠሩ ሁሉ የተመደቡላቸው ሰዎች ነበሩ። BSB BSB: As for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who lived on the farmlands around each of their cities or in any other city, men were designated by name to distribute a portion to every male among the priests and to every Levite listed by the genealogies.
20 ULB ሕዝቅያስም ይህንን በይሁዳ ሁሉ አደረገ። በእግዚአብሔር በአምላኩ ፊት መልካም፥ ትክክለኛና ታማኝ ነገርን አከናወነ። BSB BSB: So this is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah. He did what was good and upright and true before the LORD his God.
21 ULB በእግዚአብሔር ቤት አገልግሎት በጀመረው በየትኛውም ሥራ በሕጉና በትዕዛዛቱ አምላኩን ለመፈለግ በሙሉ ልቡ አከናወነው፤ እርሱም ተሳካለት። BSB BSB: He acted with all his heart in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law and the commandments, in order to seek his God. And so he prospered.
