1 ULB ከዚያ በኋላ እግዚአብሔር ሙሴን፣ «በፈርዖን ላይ የማደርገውን አሁን ታያለህ፡፡ ከጽኑዕ እጄ የተነሣ ሕዝቡን ይለቃቸዋልና፣ ይህን ታያለህ፡፡ ከጽኑዕ እጄ የተነሣ ሕዝቡን ከምድሩ ያስወጣቸዋል» አለው፡፡ BSB BSB: But the LORD said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for because of My mighty hand he will let the people go; because of My strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”
2 ULB ለሙሴ እንዲህ አለው፤ «እኔ እግዚአብሔር ነኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: God also told Moses, “I am the LORD.
3 ULB እኔ ለአብርሃም፣ ለይስሐቅ፣ ለያዕቆብ ሁሉን እንደሚችል አምላክ ተገለጥሁላቸው፤ ነገር ግን በስሜ፣ በእግዚአብሔር ለእነርሱ አልታወቅሁላቸውም ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name the LORD I did not make Myself known to them.
4 ULB የተሰደዱባትን፣ በእንግድነት የኖሩባትን የከነዓንን ምድር ልሰጣቸው፣ ከእነርሱ ጋር ኪዳን አጽንቻለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I also established My covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land where they lived as foreigners.
5 ULB ደግሞም ግብፃውያን ባሪያ ያደረጓቸውን የአስራኤላውያንን ጩኸት ሰምቻለሁ፤ ኪዳኔንም አስታውሻለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered My covenant.
6 ULB ስለዚህ ለእስራኤላውያን እንዲህ በላቸው፤ ‹እኔ እግዚአብሔር ነኝ፡፡ በግብፃውያን ሥር ከምትኖሩባት ባርነት እታደጋችኋለሁ፤ ከአገዛዛቸውም ነፃ አወጣችኋለሁ፡፡ በታላቅ ፍርድና ኀይሌን በማሳየት እታደጋችኋለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: Therefore tell the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians and deliver you from their bondage. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.
7 ULB አድርጌ ወደ ራሴ እወስዳችኋለሁ፤ እኔም አምላካችሁ እሆናለሁ፡፡ ግብፃውያን ከጫኑባችሁ ባርነት ነፃ ያወጣኋችሁ አምላካችሁ እግዚአብሔር እንደ ሆንሁ ታውቃላችሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I will take you as My own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
8 ULB ለአብርሃም፣ ለይስሐቅና ለያዕቆብ ልሰጥ ቃል ወደገባሁባት ምድር አስገባችኋለሁ፡፡ ምድሪቱን ርስት አድርጌ እሰጣችኋለሁ፡፡ እኔ እግዚአብሔር ነኝ፡፡» BSB BSB: And I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD!’”
9 ULB ይህን ለእስራኤላውያን በነገራቸው ጊዜ፣ በአስከፊው ባርነታቸው ተስፋ ከመቊረጣቸው የተነሣ አላደመጡትም፡፡ BSB BSB: Moses relayed this message to the Israelites, but on account of their broken spirit and cruel bondage, they did not listen to him.
10 ULB ሙሴን እንዲህ አለው፤ BSB BSB: So the LORD said to Moses,
11 ULB ሂድና ለግብፅ ንጉሥ ለፈርዖን የእስራኤልን ሕዝብ ከምድሩ እንዲለቅ ንገረው፡፡ BSB BSB: “Go and tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his land.”
12 ULB ሙሴም እግዚአብሔርን፣ «ተብታባ በመሆኔ እስራኤላውያን ካልሰሙኝ፣ ፈርዖን እንዴት ይሰማኛል? BSB BSB: But in the LORD’s presence Moses replied, “If the Israelites will not listen to me, then why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I am unskilled in speech?”
13 ULB እግዚአብሔር ሙሴንና አሮንን አናገራቸው፡፡ እስራኤላውያን ከግብፅ ምድር እንዲያስወጡ ስለ ግብፅ ንጉሥ ስለ ፈርዖንና ስለ እስራኤላውያንም ትእዛዝ ሰጣቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge concerning both the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.
14 ULB የአባቶቻቸውም ቤት አለቆች እነዚህ ነበሩ፤ የእስራኤል በኵር ልጅ የሮቤል ልጆች ሄኖኅ፣ ፈሉስ፣ አስሮንና ከርሚ ነበሩ፡፡ እነዚህ የሮቤል ነገድ ናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, were Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These were the clans of Reuben.
15 ULB የስምዖን ልጆች ይሙኤል፣ ያሚን፣ ኦሃድ፣ ያኪን፣ ዱሐርና የከነዓናዊቷ ሴት ልጅ ሳኡል ነበሩ፡፡ እነዚህ የስምዖን ነገድ አባቶች ናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman. These were the clans of Simeon.
16 ULB የሌዊ ልጆች ስሞች ከትውልዶቻቸው ጋር እነዚህ ናቸው፤ ጌድሶን፣ ቀዓትና ሜራሪ ነበሩ፡፡ ሌዊ መቶ ሠላሳ ዓመት ኖረ፡፡ BSB BSB: These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their records: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Levi lived 137 years.
17 ULB የጌድሶን ልጆች ሉቤኒና ሰሜኢ ነበሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Gershon were Libni and Shimei, by their clans.
18 ULB የቀዓት ልጆች እንበረም፣ ይሰዓር፣ ኬብሮንና ዑዝኤል ነበሩ፡፡ ቀዓት መቶ ሠላሳ ሦስት ዓመት ኖረ፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Kohath lived 133 years.
19 ULB የሜራሪ ልጆች ሞሖሊና ሙሲ ነበሩ፡፡ እነዚህ በትውልዶቻቸው መሠረት፣ የሌዋውያን የነገድ አባቶች ሆኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These were the clans of the Levites according to their records.
20 ULB የአባቱን እኅት ዮካብድን አገባ፤ እርሷምአሮንንና ሙሴን ወለደችለት፡፡ እንበረም መቶ ሠላሳ ሰባት ዓመት ኖሮ ሞተ፡፡ BSB BSB: And Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived 137 years.
21 ULB የይስዓር ልጆች ቆሬ፣ ናፌግና ዝክሪ ነበሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Izhar were Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 ULB ልጆች ሚሳኤል፣ ኤልዳፋንና ሥትሪ ነበሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.
23 ULB የአሚካዳብን ልጅ፣ የነኦሶንን እኅት ኤልሳቤጥን አገባ፡፡ እርሷም ናዳብንና አብዩድን፣ አልዓዛርንና ኢተምርን ወለደችለት፡፡ BSB BSB: And Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24 ULB የቆሬ ልጆች አሴር፣ ሕልቃናና አብያሳፍ ነበሩ፡፡ እነዚህ የቆሬ ነገድ አባቶች ናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the clans of the Korahites.
25 ULB ልጅ አልዓር ከፏትኤል ልጆች አንዲቱን አገባ፡፡ እርሷም ፊንሐስን ወለደችለት፡፡ እነዚህ በየትውልዶቻቸው የሌዋውያን አባቶች ቤቶች አለቆች ናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Aaron’s son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These were the heads of the Levite families by their clans.
26 ULB ሁለት ሰዎች፣ «እስራኤላውያንን በየተዋጊ ሰራዊታቸው ከግብፅ ምድር አውጡ» ብሎ እግዚአብሔር ያዘዛቸው አሮንና ሙሴ ነበሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: It was this Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, “Bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their divisions.”
27 ULB ሙሴ እስራኤላውያንን ከግብፅ ለማውጣት እንዲፈቅድላቸው ለግብፅ ንጉሥ ለፈርዖን ተናገሩ፡፡ እነዚህ ሙሴና አሮን እነዚያው ራሳቸው ነበሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: Moses and Aaron were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.
28 ULB እግዚአብሔር በግብፅ ውስጥ ሙሴን ባናገረው ጊዜ፣ BSB BSB: Now on the day that the LORD spoke to Moses in Egypt,
29 ULB «እኔ እግዚአብሔር ነኝ፡፡ የምነግርህን ሁሉ ለግብፅ ንጉሥ ለፈርዖን ንገረው» አለው፡፡ BSB BSB: He said to him, “I am the LORD; tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I say to you.”
30 ULB ግን እግዚአብሔርን፣ «እኔ ተብታባ ነኝ፤ ፈርዖን ታዲያ እንዴት ይሰማኛል? አለው፡፡ BSB BSB: But in the LORD’s presence Moses replied, “Since I am unskilled in speech, why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
