1. 1ULBኤርምያስ ለኔርያ ልጅ ለባሮክ የነገረው ቃል ይህ ነበር። ይህም የሆነው በይሁዳ ንጉሥ በኢዮስያስ ልጅ በኢዮአቄም በአራተኛው ዓመት ኤርምያስ እየነገረው በመጽሐፍ በጻፋቸው ጊዜ ነበር፤ እርሱም እንዲህ አለ፣BSBBSB: This is the word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he wrote these words on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah:
2. 2ULB"ባሮክ፣ የእስራኤል አምላክ እግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ይልሃል፦BSBBSB: “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:
3. 3ULBአንተ፣ 'እግዚአብሔር በሕመሜ ላይ ኀዘንን ጨምሮብኛልና ወዮልኝ። በልቅሶዬ ጩኸት ደክሜአለሁ፤ ዕረፍትንም አላገኘሁም' ብለሃል።BSBBSB: You have said, ‘Woe is me because the LORD has added sorrow to my pain! I am worn out with groaning and have found no rest.’”
4. 4ULBልትለው የሚገባህ ይህንን ነው፦ 'እግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ይላል፦ ተመልከት፣ የሠራሁትን፣ አሁን እያፈረስኩ ነው። የተከልሁትንም፣ እየነቀልሁ ነው። ይኽም በምድር ሁሉ ላይ እውነት ነው።BSBBSB: Thus Jeremiah was to say to Baruch: “This is what the LORD says: Throughout the land I will demolish what I have built and uproot what I have planted.
5. 5ULBነገር ግን ለራስህ ታላቅ ነገር ተስፋ ታደርጋለህን? ያንን ተስፋ አታድርግ። በሥጋ ለባሽ ሁሉ ላይ ክፉ ነገርን እንደማመጣ ትመለከታለህና አትፈልገው፣ ይላል እግዚአብሔር። ነገር ግን በሄድህበት ስፍራ ሁሉ ነፍስህን እንደ ምርኮ አድርጌ እሰጥሃለሁ።"BSBBSB: But as for you, do you seek great things for yourself? Stop seeking! For I will bring disaster on every living creature, declares the LORD, but wherever you go, I will grant your life as a spoil of war.”
