1 ULB ኤሊሁ እንዲህ በማለት ንግግሩን ቀጠለ፥ BSB BSB: And Elihu continued:
2 ULB "ትንሽ ጨምሬ እንድናገር ፍቀድልኝ፥ እግዚአብሔርን በመወገን ትንሽ አክዬ የምናገረው አለኝና ጥቂት ነገሮችን አሳይሃለሁ። BSB BSB: “Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you that there is more to be said on God’s behalf.
3 ULB ዕውቀቴን ከሩቅ አመጣለሁ፤ ጽድቅ የፈጣሪዬ ነው እላለሁ። BSB BSB: I get my knowledge from afar, and I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
4 ULB በርግጥ ቃሎቼ ሐሰት አይደሉም፤ አንድ በዕውቀት የበሰለም ከአንተ ጋር ነው። BSB BSB: For truly my words are free of falsehood; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
5 ULB ተመልከት፥ እግዚአብሔር ኃያል ነው፥ ማንንም አይንቅም፤ እርሱ በማስተዋል ብርታቱም ኃያል ነው። BSB BSB: Indeed, God is mighty, but He despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 ULB እርሱ የአመጸኞች ሰዎችን ሕይወት አይጠብቅም ነገር ግን ከዚያ ይልቅ መከራ ለሚቀበሉት ትክክል የሆነውን ነገር ያደርግላቸዋል። BSB BSB: He does not keep the wicked alive, but He grants justice to the afflicted.
7 ULB ፊቱን ከጻድቃን አይመልስም ነገር ግን ከዚያ ይልቅ እንደ ነገሥታት በዙፋኖች ላይ ያስቀምጣቸዋል፥ እነርሱም ይከብራሉ። BSB BSB: He does not take His eyes off the righteous, but He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
8 ULB ይሁንና፥ በሰንሰለት ቢገቡ፥ በመከራም ገመድ ቢታሰሩ BSB BSB: And if men are bound with chains, caught in cords of affliction,
9 ULB ያን ጊዜ ያደረጉትን መተላለፋቸውንና በግፍ እንደተመላለሱ ይገልጥላቸዋል። BSB BSB: then He tells them their deeds and how arrogantly they have transgressed.
10 ULB ደግሞም እርሱ ጆሮዎቻቸውን ለትምህርቱ ይከፍታቸዋል፥ ከክፋታቸው እንዲመለሱም ያዛቸዋል። BSB BSB: He opens their ears to correction and commands that they turn from iniquity.
11 ULB ቢሰሙትና ቢያመልኩት ቀኖቻቸውን በብልጽግና ዓመቶቻቸውንም በእርካታ ያሳልፋሉ። BSB BSB: If they obey and serve Him, then they end their days in prosperity and their years in happiness.
12 ULB ይሁን እንጂ፥ ባይሰሙት በሰይፍ ይጠፋሉ፤ ዕውቀት ስለሌላቸው ይሞታሉ። BSB BSB: But if they do not obey, then they perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
13 ULB ልባቸው ከእግዚአብሔር የራቀ እነዚያ ቁጣቸውን ያከማቻሉ፤ እግዚአብሔር በሚያስራቸው ጊዜ እንኳን ለዕርዳታ አይጮኹም። BSB BSB: The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He binds them, they do not cry for help.
14 ULB በወጣትነታቸው ይሞታሉ፤ ሕይወታቸውም በቤተ ጣዖት ዝሙት አዳሪዎች መካከል ይጠፋል። BSB BSB: They die in their youth, among the male shrine prostitutes.
15 ULB የሚሰቃዩትን ሰዎች በስቃያቸው አማካይነት ያድናቸዋል፤ በመከራቸው አማካይነትም ጆሮዎቻቸውን ይከፍታል። BSB BSB: God rescues the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.
16 ULB በእርግጥ እርሱ ከጭንቀት አውጥቶ የሰባ ምግብ የሞላበት ጠረጴዛ በፊትህ ወደሚቀመጥበትና ስቃይ ወደሌለበት ሰፊ ስፍራ ሊያወጣህ ይፈልጋል። BSB BSB: Indeed, He drew you from the jaws of distress to a spacious and broad place, to a table full of richness.
17 ULB ነገር ግን አንተ በክፉ ሰዎች ፍርድ ተሞልተሃል፤ ፍርድና ፍትሕም ይዘውሃል። BSB BSB: But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you.
18 ULB ብልጽግና ወደ መታለል እንዲስብህ እትፍቀድለት፤ መጠኑ የበዛ ጉቦም ፍትሕን እንድታዛባ እንዲያደርግህ አትፍቀድለት። BSB BSB: Be careful that no one lures you with riches; do not let a large bribe lead you astray.
19 ULB ብልጽግናህ ከሐዘን ሊያርቅህ ይችላል? ወይም የኃይልህ ብርታት ሁሉ ሊረዳህ ይችላል? BSB BSB: Can your wealth or all your mighty effort keep you from distress?
20 ULB ሰዎች በየስፍራቸው በሚወገዱበት ጊዜ በሌሎች ላይ ኃጢአትን ለመሥራት ጨለማን አትመኝ። BSB BSB: Do not long for the night, when people vanish from their homes.
21 ULB ኃጢአትን ከማድረግ ትርቅ ዘንድ በመከራ ተፈትነሃልና ወደ ኃጢአት እንዳትመለስ ተጠንቀቅ። BSB BSB: Be careful not to turn to iniquity, for this you have preferred to affliction.
22 ULB ተመልከት፥ እግዚአብሔር በኃይሉ ከፍ ያለ ነው፤ እንደ እርሱስ ያለ አስተማሪ ማነው? BSB BSB: Behold, God is exalted in His power. Who is a teacher like Him?
23 ULB ስለ መንገዱ ከቶ ማን አስተምሮታል? 'በደለኛ ነህ' ሊለውስ ከቶ ማን ይችላል? BSB BSB: Who has appointed His way for Him, or told Him, ‘You have done wrong’?
24 ULB ሰዎች የዘመሩለትን ሥራዎቹን ለማወደስ አስታውስ። BSB BSB: Remember to magnify His work, which men have praised in song.
25 ULB እነዚያን ሥራዎች ሰዎች ሁሉ አይተዋል፥ ነገር ግን እነዚያን ሥራዎች የሚያዩት ከርቀት ብቻ ነው። BSB BSB: All mankind has seen it; men behold it from afar.
26 ULB ተመልከት፥ እግዚአብሔር ትልቅ ነው፤ እኛም በሚገባ አናውቀውም፤ ዘመኖቹም አይቆጠሩም። BSB BSB: Indeed, God is great—beyond our knowledge; the number of His years is unsearchable.
27 ULB እርሱ እንፋሎቱ ዝናብ ሆኖ ይወርድ ዘንድ የውሃ ነጠብጣቦችን ወደ ላይ ስቦ ያከማቻል፥ BSB BSB: For He draws up drops of water which distill the rain from the mist,
28 ULB ደመናዎች ወደ ታች ያፈስሱታል፥ በሰዎች ላይም በብዙ ያንጠባጥቡታል። BSB BSB: which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
29 ULB በርግጥ የደመናዎቹን መዘርጋትና ከድንኳኑ የሚወጣውን መብረቅ ሊያስተውል የሚችል አለ? BSB BSB: Furthermore, who can understand how the clouds spread out, how the thunder roars from His pavilion?
30 ULB ተመልከት፥ መብረቁን በዙሪያው ይበትናል፤ ባህሩን በጨለማ ይከድነዋል። BSB BSB: See how He scatters His lightning around Him and covers the depths of the sea.
31 ULB በዚህ መንገድ ሰዎችን ይመግባቸዋል፥ ብዙ ምግብንም ይሰጣቸዋል። BSB BSB: For by these He judges the nations and provides food in abundance.
32 ULB ዒላማቸውን እንዲመቱ እስኪያዛቸው ድረስ እጆቹን በመብረቅ ነጓድጓድ ይሸፍናቸዋል። BSB BSB: He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
33 ULB ዐውሎ ነፋስ እንደሚመጣ ድምፁ ለሰዎች ይነግራቸዋል፤ መቃረቡንም እንስሶች ደግሞ ያውቃሉ። BSB BSB: The thunder declares His presence; even the cattle regard the rising storm.
