1 ULB በርግጥ በዚህ ጉዳይ ልቤ ተናውጧል፤ ስፍራውንም ለቋል። BSB BSB: “At this my heart also pounds and leaps from its place.
2 ULB ኦ እስቲ አድምጡ፤ የድምፁን ሁካታ፥ ከአፉም የሚወጣውን ድምፅ አድምጡ። BSB BSB: Listen closely to the thunder of His voice and the rumbling that comes from His mouth.
3 ULB እርሱ ድምፁን ከሰማይ በታች ወዳለ ስፍራ ሁሉ ይልካል፥ እስከ ምድር ዳርቻ ድረስም መብረቁን ይልካል። BSB BSB: He unleashes His lightning beneath the whole sky and sends it to the ends of the earth.
4 ULB ከእርሱ በኋላ ድምፅ ይጮኻል፤ በግርማዊ ድምፁም ያንጎደጉዳል፤ ድምፁ በሚሰማበት ጊዜ የመብረቁን ብልጭታ አይከለክልም። BSB BSB: Then there comes a roaring sound; He thunders with His majestic voice. He does not restrain the lightning when His voice resounds.
5 ULB እግዚአብሔር በድምፁ በሚያስደንቅ ሁኔታ ያንጎደጉዳል፤ ልናስተውላቸው የማንችላቸውን ታላላቅ ነገሮችንም ያደርጋል። BSB BSB: God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things we cannot comprehend.
6 ULB በረዶውን፥ 'በምድር ላይ ውደቅ'፤ እንዲሁም ዝናቡን፥ 'ብርቱ ዝናብ ሆነህ ውረድ' ይለዋል። BSB BSB: For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the gentle rain, ‘Pour out a mighty downpour.’
7 ULB ሰዎች ሁሉ ያደረገውን ሥራውን እንዲያዩ የእያንዳንዱን ሰው እጅ ከመሥራት ይከለክላል። BSB BSB: He seals up the hand of every man, so that all men may know His work.
8 ULB ከዚያም አራዊት ወደ መደበቂያቸው ይሄዳሉ፥ በዋሻዎቻቸውም ውስጥ ይቆያሉ። BSB BSB: The wild animals enter their lairs; they settle down in their dens.
9 ULB ዐውሎ ነፋስ ከደቡብ መኖሪያው ይመጣል፤ ቅዝቃዜም በሰሜን ከተበተነው ነፋስ። BSB BSB: The tempest comes from its chamber, and the cold from the driving north winds.
10 ULB በእግዚአብሔር እስትንፋስ በረዶ ይገኛል፤ የውኆቹም ስፋት እንደ ብረት ይቀዘቅዛል። BSB BSB: By the breath of God the ice is formed and the watery expanses are frozen.
11 ULB በርግጥ ጥቅጥቁን ደመና በሙቀት ይበትነዋል፤ መብረቆቹን በደመናዎች መካከል ይበትናቸዋል። BSB BSB: He loads the clouds with moisture; He scatters His lightning through them.
12 ULB በመላው ዓለም ላይ ፈቃዱን ያደርጉ ዘንድ በአመራሩ ደመናትን ያሽከረክራቸዋል። BSB BSB: They swirl about, whirling at His direction, accomplishing all that He commands over the face of all the earth.
13 ULB እነዚህ ሁሉ እንዲሆኑ ያደርጋቸዋል፤ ይህንን የሚያደርገው አንዳንድ ጊዜ ለማቅናት፥ አንዳንዴም ምድሩን ለማጠጣት፥ አንዳንዴም የቃል ኪዳን ታማኝነቱን ለማሳየት ነው። BSB BSB: Whether for punishment or for His land, He accomplishes this in His loving devotion.
14 ULB ኢዮብ ሆይ፥ ይህንን ስማ፤ ቆም በልና የእግዚአብሔርን ድንቅ ሥራዎች አስብ። BSB BSB: Listen to this, O Job; stand still and consider the wonders of God.
15 ULB እግዚአብሔር እንዴት ፈቃዱን በደመናት ላይ እንደሚፈጽም፥ የመብረቁንም ብልጭታ በእነርሱ ውስጥ እንዲበራ እንደሚያደርግ ታውቃለህ? BSB BSB: Do you know how God dispatches the clouds or makes the lightning flash?
16 ULB በዕውቀቱ ፍጹም የሆነውን የእግዚአብሔርን ድንቅ ሥራዎች፥ የደመናትንም መንሳፈፍ ታስተውላለህ? BSB BSB: Do you understand how the clouds float, those wonders of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
17 ULB ከደቡብ በሚመጣው ነፋስ ምክንያት ምድር ጸጥ በምትልበት ጊዜ ልብስህ እንዴት እንደሚሞቅ ታስተውላለህ？ BSB BSB: You whose clothes get hot when the land lies hushed under the south wind,
18 ULB ከብረት የተሠራ ጠንካራ መስታወት የሚመስለውን ሰማይ እንደ እርሱ መዘርጋት ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: can you, like Him, spread out the skies, as strong as a mirror of bronze?
19 ULB አዕምሮአችን ከመጨለሙ የተነሣ ክርክራችንን በሥርዓት ማቅረብ አልቻልንምና ምን እንደምንመልስለት አስተምረን። BSB BSB: Teach us what we should say to Him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.
20 ULB ላነጋግረው እንደምፈልግ ይነገረው ዘንድ ይገባል? አንድ ሰው እንዲዋጥ ይፈልጋል? BSB BSB: Should He be told that I want to speak? Would a man ask to be swallowed up?
21 ULB እነሆ፥ ነፋስ በውስጡ ካለፈና ደመናውን ካጠራው በኋላ በሰማይ ላይ የሚያበራውን ፀሐይ ሰዎች ለማየት አይችሉም። BSB BSB: Now no one can gaze at the sun when it is bright in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.
22 ULB እንደ ወርቅ የሚያብረቀርቅ ብርሃን ከሰሜን ይመጣል- በእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ አስፈሪ ግርማ አለ። BSB BSB: Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; awesome majesty surrounds Him.
23 ULB ሁሉን ቻዩን በሚመለከት እኛ ልናገኘው አንችልም፤ እርሱ በጽድቁና በኃይሉ ታላቅ ነው። ሰዎችን አያስጨንቅም። BSB BSB: The Almighty is beyond our reach; He is exalted in power! In His justice and great righteousness He does not oppress.
24 ULB ስለዚህ፥ ሰዎች ይፈሩታል። ጥበበኞች ነን ብለው የሚያስቡትን አይመለከታቸውም"። BSB BSB: Therefore, men fear Him, for He is not partial to the wise in heart.”
