3 ULB ጥያቄዎችን እጠይቅሃለሁና አሁን እንደ ሰው ወገብህን ታጠቅ፥ አንተም ልትመልስልኝ ይገባሃል። BSB BSB: Now brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall inform Me.
5 ULB መጠኑን የወሰነው ማነው? የምታውቅ ከሆነ ንገረኝ። በላዩ ላይስ የመለኪያ ገመድ የዘረጋ ማነው? BSB BSB: Who fixed its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 ULB መሠረቶቹስ የቆሙት በምን ላይ ነው? BSB BSB: On what were its foundations set, or who laid its cornerstone,
7 ULB የንጋት ከዋክብት በአንድነት በዘመሩና የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች ሁሉ በደስታ በዘመሩ ጊዜ የማዕዘኑን ድንጋይ ያስቀመጠ ማን ነበር? BSB BSB: while the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 ULB ደመናትን ልብሱ፥ ድቅድቁንም ጨለማ መጠቅለያው ባደረግሁ ጊዜ BSB BSB: Who enclosed the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,
9 ULB ከማኅፀን የሚወጣ ይመስል ፈንድቶ በወጣ ጊዜ የባህሩን መዝጊያ የዘጋ ማነው? BSB BSB: when I made the clouds its garment and thick darkness its blanket,
10 ULB ያን ጊዜ ነበር ለባህሩ ገደብን ያደረግሁለት፥ በሮችንና መወርወሪያዎችን ባደረግሁለት ጊዜ፥ BSB BSB: when I fixed its boundaries and set in place its bars and doors,
11 ULB እንዲህም ባልኩት ጊዜ፥ 'እስከዚህ ድረስ መምጣት ትችል ይሆናል፥ ከዚህ ግን አትለፍ፤ ለሞገድህ ትዕቢት ገደብ የማደርግለት እዚህጋ ነው'። BSB BSB: and I declared: ‘You may come this far, but no farther; here your proud waves must stop’?
12 ULB ከተወለድክበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ ንጋት እንዲጀምር ከቶ ትዕዛዝ ሰጥተኸዋል? ወጋገኑስ በነገሮች መካከል ስፍራውን እንዲያውቅ አድርገኸዋል? BSB BSB: In your days, have you commanded the morning or assigned the dawn its place,
13 ULB የምድርን ማዕዘናት በመያዝ ክፉዎች ሰዎች ከእርሱ ላይ እንዲራገፉ አድርገሃል? BSB BSB: that it might spread to the ends of the earth and shake the wicked out of it?
14 ULB ጭቃው ከማኅተም በታች እንደሚለወጥ የምድርም መልክ ተለውጧል፤ በእርሱ ላይ ያለው ነገር ሁሉ በግልጽ እንደ ቁራጭ ጨርቅ ተጠቅልሎ ቆሟል። BSB BSB: The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its hills stand out like the folds of a garment.
15 ULB ከክፉ ሰዎች 'ብርሃናቸው' ተወስዷል፤ ወደ ላይ የተነሣው ክንዳቸውም ተሰብሯል። BSB BSB: Light is withheld from the wicked, and their upraised arm is broken.
16 ULB ወደ ባህሩ መገኛ ሄደህ ታውቃለህ? ዝቅ ወዳለው ጥልቅ ስፍራስ ወርደህ ታውቃለህ? BSB BSB: Have you journeyed to the vents of the sea or walked in the trenches of the deep?
17 ULB የሞት በሮች ተገልጠውልሃል? የሞት ጥላ በሮችንስ አይተኻቸዋል? BSB BSB: Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?
18 ULB ምድርን በስፋቱ ታውቀዋለህ? ይህንን ሁሉ የምታውቅ ከሆነ ንገረኝ። BSB BSB: Have you surveyed the extent of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this.
19 ULB ብርሃን የሚያርፍበት ስፍራ መንገዱ የት ነው? የጨለማውስ ስፍራው የት ነው? BSB BSB: Where is the way to the home of light? Do you know where darkness resides,
20 ULB ብርሃንና ጨለማን ወደ ሥራቸው ስፍራ ልትመራቸው ትችላለህ? ወደ መኖሪያቸው የሚመለሱበትን መንገድስ ልትፈልግላቸው ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: so you can lead it back to its border? Do you know the paths to its home?
21 ULB ያን ጊዜ ተወልደህ ስለነበርና የዕድሜህም ቁጥር ታላቅ ስለሆነ ያለጥርጥር ታውቃለህ! BSB BSB: Surely you know, for you were already born! And the number of your days is great!
22 ULB ወደ በረዶው መጋዘን ገብተሃል? ወይም የአመዳዩን ማከማቻ አይተሃል? BSB BSB: Have you entered the storehouses of snow or observed the storehouses of hail,
23 ULB እነዚህን ነገሮች ለመከራ ጊዜ፥ ለጦርነትና ለውጊያ ቀናት ያስቀመጥኳቸው ናቸው። BSB BSB: which I hold in reserve for times of trouble, for the day of war and battle?
24 ULB የመብረቅ ብልጭታ የሚሰራጭበት መንገድ የትኛው ነው? ወይም ነፋሳት ከምስራቅ በምድር ላይ የሚበተኑበት መንገድ የቱ ነው? BSB BSB: In which direction is the lightning dispersed, or the east wind scattered over the earth?
25 ULB ለዶፍ ዝናብ መውረጃን ያበጀለት ወይም ለመብረቅ ብልጭታ መንገድ ያዘጋጀለት ማነው? BSB BSB: Who cuts a channel for the flood or clears a path for the thunderbolt,
26 ULB ሰው በሌለበት ምድር፥ ማንም በሌለበት ምድረ በዳ ላይ እንዲዘንብ ያደረገ ማነው? BSB BSB: to bring rain on a barren land, on a desert where no man lives,
27 ULB ሰው የሌለበትንና የባድማውን አካባቢ ፍላጎት የሚያረካ፥ ሣር እንዲበቅልበትስ የሚያደርግ ማነው? BSB BSB: to satisfy the parched wasteland and make it sprout with tender grass?
28 ULB ዝናብ አባት አለው? የጤዛን ጠብታ የወለደው ማነው? BSB BSB: Does the rain have a father? Who has begotten the drops of dew?
29 ULB በረዶስ የመጣው ከማን ማኅፀን ነው? የሰማዩን አመዳይ ማን ወለደው? BSB BSB: From whose womb does the ice emerge? Who gives birth to the frost from heaven,
30 ULB ውኆች ራሳቸውን ይደብቁና እንደ ድንጋይ ይጠነክራሉ፤ የጥልቁም ገጽታ ግግር ይሆናል። BSB BSB: when the waters become hard as stone and the surface of the deep is frozen?
31 ULB ፕልያዲስ የተባለውን ኮከብ በሠንሰለት ልታስረው ወይም የኦሪዮንን እስራት ልትፈታ ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades or loosen the belt of Orion?
32 ULB የከዋክብት ክምችት በተገቢው ጊዜአቸው እንዲታዩ ልትመራቸው ትችላለህ? ድብ የተባለውን ከነልጆቹ ልትመራቸው ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear and her cubs?
33 ULB የሰማይን ሥርዓት ታውቃለህ? የሰማይን ሥርዓት በምድር ላይ መተግበር ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?
34 ULB ብዙ የዝናብ ውሃ እንዲያጥለቀልቅህ ድምፅህን ወደ ደመናት ማሰማት ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: Can you command the clouds so that a flood of water covers you?
35 ULB 'ይኸው እዚህ አለን' ብለው ይላኩህ ዘንድ የመብረቅ ብልጭታዎችን ልትልካቸው ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: Can you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’?
36 ULB በደመናት ውስጥ ጥበብን ያኖረ ወይም ለእርጥበት ዕውቀትን የሰጠ ማነው? BSB BSB: Who has put wisdom in the heart or given understanding to the mind?
37 ULB በጥበቡ ደመናትን ለመቁጠር የሚችል ማነው? BSB BSB: Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Or who can tilt the water jars of the heavens
38 ULB ብናኙ ዐፈር ተበጥብጦ ጠንካራ ጓል በሚሆንበትና ጭቃው አፈር በአንድ ላይ በሚጣበቅበት ጊዜ የሰማይን የውሃ መያዣ አዘንብሎ ማፍሰስ የሚችል ማነው? BSB BSB: when the dust hardens into a mass and the clods of earth stick together?
40 ULB ለአንበሳዪቱ አደን ልታድንላት ወይም ግልገሎቿን ልታጠግብላት ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: when they crouch in their dens and lie in wait in the thicket?
41 ULB ጫጩቶቻቸው ወደ እግዚአብሔር በሚጮኹበትና ምግብ በማጣት በሚንከራተቱበት ጊዜ ለቁራዎች ምግብ የሚሰጣቸው ማነው? BSB BSB: Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God as they wander about for lack of food?
