1 ULB እግዚአብሔር ኢዮብን እንዲህ ሲል መናገሩን ቀጠለ፥ BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Job:
2 ULB "ማንም መተቸት የሚፈልግ ሁሉን ቻዩን አምላክ ማረም አለበት? ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር የሚከራከር እርሱ ምላሹን ይስጥ"። BSB BSB: “Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who argues with God give an answer.”
3 ULB ኢዮብም ለእግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ሲል መለሰ፥ BSB BSB: Then Job answered the LORD:
4 ULB "ተመልከት፥ እኔ ከምንም የማልቆጠር ነኝ፤ እንዴትስ መልስ ልሰጥህ እችላለሁ? እጄን በአፌ ላይ እጭናለሁ። BSB BSB: “Behold, I am insignificant. How can I reply to You? I place my hand over my mouth.
5 ULB አንድ ጊዜ ተናገርኩ፥ መልስ መስጠትም አልችልም፤ በእርግጥ ሁለተኛ ተናግሬ ይሆናል፥ ከዚህ በኋላ ግን አልቀጥልም"። BSB BSB: I have spoken once, but I have no answer—twice, but I have nothing to add.”
6 ULB ከዚያም እግዚአብሔር ከኃይለኛ ዐውሎ ነፋስ ውስጥ ሆኖ ኢዮብን እንዲህ ሲል ተናገረው፥ BSB BSB: Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
7 ULB "እንግዲህ እንደ ወንድ ወገብህን ታጠቅ፥ እጠይቅሃለሁና አንተም ልትመልስልኝ ይገባል። BSB BSB: “Now brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall inform Me.
8 ULB ፍትሐዊ ስላለመሆኔ ትናገራለህ? ራስህን ትክክለኛ አድርገህ ለመቁጠር እኔን ትኮንናለህ? BSB BSB: Would you really annul My justice? Would you condemn Me to justify yourself?
9 ULB የእግዚአብሔርን የሚያክል ክንድ አለህ? እንደ እርሱስ ድምፅህን ልታንጎደጉድ ትችላለህ? BSB BSB: Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like His?
10 ULB አሁንም ክብርንና ልዕልናን ልበስ፤ ክብርንና ግርማንም ታጠቅ። BSB BSB: Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, and clothe yourself with honor and glory.
11 ULB የቁጣህን ብዛት በዙሪያህ አፍስስ፤ ትዕቢተኛ የሆነውን ሁሉ ተመልከተውና አዋርደው። BSB BSB: Unleash the fury of your wrath; look on every proud man and bring him low.
12 ULB ትዕቢተኛ የሆነውን ሁሉ ተመልከተውና ዝቅ አድርገው፤ ክፉዎችንም ሰዎች በቆሙበት ስፍራ አድቅቃቸው። BSB BSB: Look on every proud man and humble him; trample the wicked where they stand.
13 ULB አንድ ላይ ዐፈር ውስጥ ቅበራቸው፤ በተሰወረ ስፍራም ፊታቸውን ደብቀው። BSB BSB: Bury them together in the dust; imprison them in the grave.
14 ULB ያን ጊዜ እኔ ደግሞ የገዛ ክንድህ ሊያድንህ እንደቻለ ዐውቃለሁ። BSB BSB: Then I will confess to you that your own right hand can save you.
15 ULB አሁንም አንተን እንደፈጠርኩህ የፈጠርኩትን ጉማሬ ተመልከት፤ እርሱ እንደ በሬ ሣር ይበላል። BSB BSB: Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you. He feeds on grass like an ox.
16 ULB ተመልከት፥ ኃይሉ በወገቡ፥ ብርታቱም በሆዱ ጡንቻ ውስጥ ነው። BSB BSB: See the strength of his loins and the power in the muscles of his belly.
17 ULB ጭራውን እንደ ጥድ ያወዛውዛል፤ የወርቹ ጅማቶችም እርስ በእርሳቸው የተገጣጠሙ ናቸው። BSB BSB: His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are tightly knit.
18 ULB አጥንቶቹ እንደ ነሐስ ቱቦ ናቸው፤ እግሮቹም እንደ ብረት ዘንግ ናቸው። BSB BSB: His bones are tubes of bronze; his limbs are rods of iron.
19 ULB እርሱ እግዚአብሔር ከፈጠራቸው ፍጥረታት ዋነኛው ነው። እርሱን የፈጠረው እግዚአብሔር ብቻ ሊያሸንፈው ይችላል። BSB BSB: He is the foremost of God’s works; only his Maker can draw the sword against him.
20 ULB ኮረብታዎች ምግቡን ያዘጋጁለታልና፤ በመስክ ላይ ያሉት አራዊትም በአቅራቢያው ይጫወታሉ። BSB BSB: The hills yield him their produce, while all the beasts of the field play nearby.
21 ULB በረግረጉ ስፍራ ከደንገል ተክሎች ስር ይተኛል። BSB BSB: He lies under the lotus plants, hidden among the reeds of the marsh.
22 ULB በውሃ ዳር የሚበቅሉ ዛፎች በጥላዎቻቸው ይሸፍኑታል፤ የአኻያውም ዛፍ ሁሉ በዙሪያው ነው። BSB BSB: The lotus plants conceal him in their shade; the willows of the brook surround him.
23 ULB ተመልከት፥ ወንዙ ቢጎርፍም እርሱ አይፈራም፤ የዮርዳኖስ ወንዝ እስከ አፉ ቢሞላም እርሱ ተማምኖ ይኖራል። BSB BSB: Though the river rages, Behemoth is unafraid; he remains secure, though the Jordan surges to his mouth.
24 ULB በወጥመድ ሊይዘው ወይስ አፍንጫውን በወጥመድ ሊበሳው የሚችል አለ? BSB BSB: Can anyone capture him as he looks on, or pierce his nose with a snare?
