1. 1ULBኢዮብም ለእግዚአብሔር እንዲህ ሲል መለሰ፥BSBBSB: Then Job replied to the LORD:
2. 2ULB"ሁሉን ለማድረግ እንደምትችል፥ ዓላማህ ሊደናቀፍ እንደማይችል አውቃለሁ።BSBBSB: “I know that You can do all things and that no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
3. 3ULB'ያለዕውቀት ዕቅዴን የሚያጨልም ይህ ማነው?' ብለህ ጠይቀኸኛል። ስለዚህ የማላውቀውን፥ ያልተረዳሁትን፥ ለማወቅም እጅግ አስቸጋሪ የሆነውን ነገር ተናግሬአለሁ።BSBBSB: You asked, ‘Who is this who conceals My counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
4. 4ULBአንተም፥ 'አሁንም፥ አድምጥ፥ እኔ እናገራለሁ፤ አንዳንድ ነገሮችን እጠይቅሃለሁ፥ አንተም ትነግረኛለህ' አልከኝ።BSBBSB: You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak. I will question you, and you shall inform Me.’
5. 5ULBስለአንተ መስማትን በጆሮዬ ሰምቼ ነበር፥ አሁን ግን ዓይኖቼ አዩህ።BSBBSB: My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You.
6. 6ULBስለዚህ ራሴን እንቃለሁ፤ በአመድና በትቢያ ላይ ተቀምጬ ንስሓ እገባለሁ"።BSBBSB: Therefore I despise myself, and I repent in dust and ashes.”
7. 7ULBእግዚአብሔር ኢዮብን ይህን ቃል ከተናገረው በኋላ ቴማናዊውን ኤልፋዝን እንዲህ አለው፥ "አንተና ሁለቱ ጓደኞችህ አገልጋዬ ኢዮብ እንዳደረገው ስለ እኔ ትክክለኛውን ነገር አለተናገራችሁምና ቁጣዬ በእናንተ ላይ ነዶባችኋል።BSBBSB: After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, He said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and your two friends. For you have not spoken about Me accurately, as My servant Job has.
8. 8ULBአሁን እንግዲህ ሰባት ወይፈኖችንና ሰባት አውራ በጎችን ለራሳችሁ ይዛችሁ ወደ አገልጋዬ ኢዮብ ሂዱ፤ ለራሳችሁም የሚቃጠል ምስዋዕት አድርጋችሁ አቅርቡ። እኔም እንደ ስንፍናችሁ እንዳላደርግባችሁ አገልጋዬ ኢዮብ ይጸልይላችኋል፤ እኔም ጸሎቱን እቀበላለሁ። አገልጋዬ ኢዮብ እንዳደረገው ስለ እኔ ትክክለኛውን ነገር አልተናገራችሁምና።"BSBBSB: So now, take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. Then My servant Job will pray for you, for I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken accurately about Me, as My servant Job has.”
9. 9ULBስለዚህ ቴማናዊው ኤልፋዝ፥ ሹሐዊው በልዳዶስና ናዕማታዊው ሶፋር እግዚአብሔር እንዳዘዛቸው ሄደው አደረጉ፤ እግዚአብሔርም ኢዮብን ተቀበለው።BSBBSB: So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer.
10. 10ULBኢዮብ ስለ ጓደኞቹ በጸለየ ጊዜ እግዚአብሔር እንደገና አበለጸገው። ቀድሞ ከነበረው በላይ እግዚአብሔር ዕጥፍ አድርጎ ሰጠው።BSBBSB: After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions.
11. 11ULBከዚያም የኢዮብ ወንድሞቹና እህቶቹ ሁሉ፥ ቀድሞ ያውቁት የነበሩትም ሁሉ እርሱ ወደነበረበት መጡ፤ ከእርሱም ጋር ምግብ በሉ። እነርሱም ሐዘኑን ተጋሩት፤ እግዚአብሔር አምጥቶበት ስለነበረው መከራ ሁሉ አጽናኑት። እያንዳንዳቸውም ለኢዮብ ጥሬ ብርና የወርቅ ቀለበት ሰጡት።BSBBSB: All his brothers and sisters and prior acquaintances came and dined with him in his house. They consoled him and comforted him over all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. And each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
12. 12ULBእግዚአብሔር ከመጀመሪያው ይልቅ የኢዮብን የኋለኛውን ዘመን ባረከለት፤ እርሱም ዐሥራ አራት ሺህ በጎች፥ ስድስት ሺህ ግመሎች፥ አንድ ሺህ ጥማድ በሬዎች፥ አንድ ሺህም ሴት አህዮች ነበሩት።BSBBSB: So the LORD blessed Job’s latter days more than his first. He owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
13. 13ULBደግሞም ሰባት ወንዶችና ሦስት ሴቶች ልጆች ነበሩት።BSBBSB: And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
14. 14ULBየመጀመሪያ ሴት ልጁን ይሚማ፥ ሁለተኛዋን ቃሥያ፥ ሦስተኛዋን አማልቶያስ ቂራስ ብሎ ሰየማቸው።BSBBSB: He named his first daughter Jemimah, his second Keziah, and his third Keren-happuch.
15. 15ULBበሀገሩ ሁሉ እንደ ኢዮብ ሴቶች ልጆች የተዋቡ ሴቶች አልተገኙም። አባታቸውም ከወንድሞቻቸው እኩል ርስትን ሰጣቸው።BSBBSB: No women as beautiful as Job’s daughters could be found in all the land, and their father granted them an inheritance among their brothers.
16. 16ULBከዚህ በኋላ ኢዮብ 140 አመት ኖረ፤ እርሱም ወንዶች ልጆችን፥ የወንዶች ልጆቹን ወንዶች ልጆች እስከ አራት ትውልድ ድረስ አየ።BSBBSB: After this, Job lived 140 years and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
17. 17ULBከዚያም ኢዮብ አርጅቶ፥ ዕድሜንም ጠግቦ ሞተ።BSBBSB: And so Job died, old and full of years.
