1. 1ULBበሦስተኛውም ቀን በገሊላ ቃና ሰርግ ነበረ፤ የኢየሱስም እናት በዚያ ነበረች።BSBBSB: On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2. 2ULBኢየሱስና ደቀ መዛሙርቱም ወደ ሰርጉ ተጠርተው ነበር፡፡BSBBSB: and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3. 3ULBየወይን ጠጁ ባለቀ ጊዜ፣ የኢየሱስ እናት ኢየሱስን፣ «የወይን ጠጅ እኮ ዐልቆባቸዋል» አለችው፡፡BSBBSB: When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
4. 4ULBኢየሱስ መልሶ፣ «አንቺ ሴት፣ ከዚህ ጋር እኔ ምን ጉዳይ አለኝ? ጊዜዬ እኮ ገና አልደረሰም» አላት፡፡BSBBSB: “Woman, what is that to you and to Me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5. 5ULBእናቱ ለአሳላፊዎቹ፣ እርሱ «የሚላችሁን ሁሉ አድርጉ» አለቻቸው፡፡BSBBSB: His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
6. 6ULBበዚያ፣ ለአይሁድ የመንጻት ሥርዐት የሚያገለግሉ እያንዳንዳቸው ሁለት ወይም ሦስት እንስራ የሚይዙ ስድስት የድንጋይ ጋኖች ነበሩ፡፡BSBBSB: Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.
7. 7ULBኢየሱስ፣ «ጋኖቹን ውሃ ሙሉአቸው» አላቸው፡፡ እነርሱም እስከ አፋቸው ሞሉአቸው፡፡BSBBSB: Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim.
8. 8ULBከዚያም ኢየሱስ አሳላፊዎቹን፣ «ጥቂት ቅዱና ለመስተንግዶው ኀላፊ ስጡት» አላቸው፤ እነርሱም እንዳላቸው አደረጉ፡፡BSBBSB: “Now draw some out,” He said, “and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,
9. 9ULBየመስተንግዶው ኀላፊ፣ ወይን ጠጅ የሆነውን ውሃ ቀመሰው፤ ከየት እንደ መጣ ግን አላወቀም፤ ውሃውን የቀዱት አሳላፊዎች ግን ያውቁ ነበር፡፡ እርሱም ሙሽራውን ጠርቶBSBBSB: and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not know where it was from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10. 10ULB«ሰው ሁሉ መልካሙን ወይን ጠጅ በመጀመሪያ ያቀርባል፤ መናኛውን ሰዎች ከሰከሩ በኋላ ነው የሚያቀርበው፤ አንተ ግን መልካሙን የወይን ጠጅ እስካሁን ድረስ አቈይተሃል» አለው፡፡BSBBSB: and said, “Everyone serves the fine wine first, and then the cheap wine after the guests are drunk. But you have saved the fine wine until now!”
11. 11ULBይህ በገሊላ ቃና የተደረገው ተአምር ኢየሱስ ካደረጋቸው ተአምራዊ ምልክቶች የመጀመሪያ ነው፤ ክብሩንም ገለጠ፤ ደቀ መዛሙርቱም በእርሱ አመኑ።BSBBSB: Jesus performed this, the first of His signs, at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
12. 12ULBከዚህ በኋላ ከእናቱ፣ ከወንድሞቹና ከደቀ መዛሙርቱ ጋር ወደ ቅፍርናሆም ወረደ፤ በዚያም ጥቂት ቀናት ቈዩ፡፡BSBBSB: After this, He went down to Capernaum with His mother and brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there a few days.
13. 13ULBየአይሁድ ፋሲካ ቀርቦ ስለ ነበረ፣ ኢየሱስ ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ወጣ፡፡BSBBSB: When the Jewish Passover was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14. 14ULBበቤተ መቅደስ ውስጥ በሬዎችን፣ በጎችንና ርግቦችን ሲሸጡ የነበሩ ሰዎችን አገኘ፡፡ ገንዘብ ለዋጮችም ደግሞ በዚያ ተቀምጠው ነበር፡፡BSBBSB: In the temple courts He found men selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and money changers seated at their tables.
15. 15ULBእርሱም የገመድ ጅራፍ አበጅቶ በጎችንና ከብቶችን ጭምር ሁሉንም ከቤተ መቅደስ አስወጣቸው፤ የገንዘብ ለዋጮችንም ገንዘብ በተነ፤ ጠረጴዛዎቻቸውንም ገለባበጠ።BSBBSB: So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16. 16ULBርግብ ሻጮችንም፣ «እነዚህን ከዚህ አስወጧቸው፤ የአባቴን ቤት የንግድ ቤት ማድረጋችሁን አቁሙ!» አላቸው።BSBBSB: To those selling doves He said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a marketplace!”
17. 17ULBደቀ መዛሙርቱ፣ «ለቤትህ ያለኝ ቅናት ይበላኛል» ተብሎ የተጻፈውን አስታወሱ፡፡BSBBSB: His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”
18. 18ULBከዚያም የአይሁድ ባለ ሥልጣኖች፣ «እነዚህን ነገሮች ለማድረግ መብት እንዳለህ ምን ምልክት ታሳየናለህ?» በማለት መለሱለት፡፡BSBBSB: On account of this, the Jews demanded, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do these things?”
19. 19ULBኢየሱስ፣ «ይህን ቤተ መቅደስ አፍርሱት፤ እኔ በሦስት ቀን አስነሣዋለሁ» ብሎ መለሰ፡፡BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.”
20. 20ULBከዚያም አይሁድ፣ «ይህን ቤተ መቅደስ ለመገንባት ዐርባ ስድስት ዓመት ፈጅቶአል፤ አንተ በሦስት ቀን መልሰህ ታስነሣዋለህ?» አሉት።BSBBSB: “This temple took forty-six years to build,” the Jews replied, “and You are going to raise it up in three days?”
21. 21ULBይሁን እንጂ፣ እርሱ ቤተ መቅደስ ብሎ የተናገረው፣ ስለ ራሱ ሰውነት ነበር።BSBBSB: But Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body.
22. 22ULBከሙታን ከተነሣም በኋላ፣ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ኢየሱስ ይህን እንደ ተናገረ አስታወሱ፤ መጻሕፍትንና ኢየሱስ የተናገረውንም ቃል አመኑ።BSBBSB: After He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
23. 23ULBበፋሲካ በዓል በኢየሩሳሌም ሳለ፣ ያደረጋቸውን ተአምራት አይተው ብዙዎች በስሙ አመኑ።BSBBSB: While He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the signs He was doing and believed in His name.
24. 24ULBሆኖም፣ ኢየሱስ ሰዎችን ሁሉ ያውቅ ስለ ነበር፣ እነርሱን አላመናቸውም፤BSBBSB: But Jesus did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew them all.
25. 25ULBደግሞም በሰው ውስጥ ያለውን ያውቅ ስለ ነበር፣ ማንም ስለ ሰው እንዲመሰክርለት አያስፈልገውም ነበር።BSBBSB: He did not need any testimony about man, for He knew what was in a man.
