1. 1ULBኢየሱስ ከቤተመቅደስ ሲወጣ ሳለ ከደቀመዛሙርቱ አንዱ መምህር ሆይ፤ እንዴት ያሉ ድንጋዮችና እንዴት ያሉ ሕንጻዎቹ እንደሆኑ ተመልከት! አለው፡፡BSBBSB: As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look at the magnificent stones and buildings!”
2. 2ULBእርሱም እነዚህን ታላላቅ ሕንጻዎች ታያለህን? ድንጋይ በድንጋይ ላይ ሳይፈርስ እንደዚህ አይቀርም አለው፡፡BSBBSB: “Do you see all these great buildings?” Jesus replied. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3. 3ULBኢየሱስ በደብረዘይት ተራራ ላይ በቤተመቅደሱ ትይዩ ተቀምጦ ሳለ ጴጥሮስ፣ ያዕቆብ፣ ዮሐንስና እንድርያስBSBBSB: While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately,
4. 4ULBንገረን፣ እነዚህ ነገሮች የሚሆኑት መቼ ነው? እነዚህ ነገሮች ሁሉ የሚፈጸሙበት ምልክቱስ ምንድነው? ብለው ለብቻው ጠየቁት፤BSBBSB: “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to be fulfilled?”
5. 5ULBኢየሱስም ማንም እንዳያስታችሁ ለራሳችሁ ተጠንቀቁ አላቸው፡፡BSBBSB: Jesus began by telling them, “See to it that no one deceives you.
6. 6ULBብዙዎች እኔ ክርስቶስ ነኝ! እያሉ በስሜ ይመጣሉና ብዙዎችንም ያስታሉ፡፡BSBBSB: Many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many.
7. 7ULBጦርነትንና የጦርነትን ወሬ በምትሰሙበት ጊዜ አትታወኩ፤ እነዚህ ነገሮች የግድ መፈጸም አለባቸው፤ ነገር ግን መጨረሻው ገና ነው፡፡BSBBSB: When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
8. 8ULBሕዝብ በሕዝብ ላይ፣ መንግሥትም በመንግሥት ላይ ይነሣልና፡፡ በተለያዩ ቦታዎች የምድር መንቀጥቀጥ፣ ረሃብም ይሆናል፡፡ እነዚህ የምጥ ጣር መጀመሪያ ናቸው፡፡BSBBSB: Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, as well as famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
9. 9ULBእናንተ ግን ለራሳችሁ ተጠንቀቁ፡፡ ወደ ሸንጎዎቻቸው ያቀርቧችኋል፣ በምኩራቦች ውስጥ ትደበደባላችሁ፡፡ ለእነርሱ ምስክር እንዲሆን በእኔ ምክንያት በገዢዎችና በነገሥታት ፊት ትቆማላችሁ፡፡BSBBSB: So be on your guard. You will be delivered over to the councils and beaten in the synagogues. On My account you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.
10. 10ULBአስቀድሞ ወንጌል ለሕዝቦች ሁሉ ይሰበካል፡፡BSBBSB: And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all the nations.
11. 11ULBወደ ፍርድ በሚያቀርቧችሁና አሳልፈው በሚሰጧችሁ ጊዜ አስቀድማችሁ ምን እንደምትናገሩ አትጨነቁ፤ ነገር ግን በዚያች ሰዓት የምትናገሩት ይሰጣችኋልና፤ የሚናገረውም መንፈስ ቅዱስ ነው እንጂ እናንተ አይደላችሁም፡፡BSBBSB: But when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand what to say. Instead, speak whatever you are given at that time, for it will not be you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12. 12ULBወንድም ወንድሙን ለሞት አሳልፎ ይሰጣል፣ አባትም ልጁን፤ ልጆችም ወላጆቻቸውን በመቃወም ተነስተው ይገድሏቸዋል፡፡BSBBSB: Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.
13. 13ULBስለስሜም በሰዎች ሁሉ ትጠላላችሁ፡፡ ነገር ግን እስከ መጨረሻው የሚጸና እርሱ ይድናል፡፡BSBBSB: You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
14. 14ULBየጥፋትን እርኩሰት በማይገባው ቦታ ቆሙ ስታዩት (አንባቢው ያስተውል) በይሁዳ ያሉ ወደ ተራሮች ይሽሹ፤BSBBSB: So when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
15. 15ULBበቤቱ ጣሪያ ላይ ያለም አንዳች ይወስድ ዘንድ አይውረድ፣ ወደ ቤትም አይግባ፤BSBBSB: Let no one on the housetop go back inside to retrieve anything from his house.
16. 16ULBበእርሻም ያለ ልብሱን ይወስድ ዘንድ ወደ ኋላው አይመልከት፡፡BSBBSB: And let no one in the field return for his cloak.
17. 17ULBነገር ግን በእነዚያ ወራት ለእርጉዞችና ለሚያጠቡ ወዮላቸው!BSBBSB: How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!
18. 18ULBበክረምት እንዳይሆን ጸልዩ፡፡BSBBSB: Pray that this will not occur in the winter.
19. 19ULBእግዚአብሔር ከፈጠረው ከፍጥረት መጀመሪያ ጀምሮ እስካሁን ድረስ ያልሆነ ወደፊትም የማይሆን ታላቅ መከራ በእነዚያ ቀናት ይሆናልና፡፡BSBBSB: For those will be days of tribulation unseen from the beginning of God’s creation until now, and never to be seen again.
20. 20ULBጌታ ቀኖቹን ባያሳጥር ኖሮ ሥጋን የለበሰ ሁሉ አይድንም ነበር፡፡ ነገር ግን ስለመረጣቸው ስለ ምርጦቹ ሲል ቀኖቹን አሳጠረ፡፡BSBBSB: If the Lord had not cut short those days, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom He has chosen, He has cut them short.
21. 21ULBአንድ ሰው እነሆ ክርስቶስ በዚህ ነው ወይም እነሆ በዚያ ነው ቢላችሁ አትመኑት፡፡BSBBSB: At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.
22. 22ULBሐሰተኛ ክርስቶሶችና ሐሰተኛ ነብያት ይነሣሉና፤ ቢቻላቸው የተመረጡትን ለማሳት ድንቆችንና ምልክቶችን ያሳያሉ፡፡BSBBSB: For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.
23. 23ULBነገር ግን አስተውሉ፤ እነሆ አስቀድሜ ሁሉንም ነገር ነግሬአችኋለሁ፡፡BSBBSB: So be on your guard; I have told you everything in advance.
24. 24ULBከመከራው በኋላ በእነዚያ ቀናት ፀሐይ ትጨልማለች፣ ጨረቃም ብርሃንዋን አትሰጥም፣BSBBSB: But in those days, after that tribulation: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
25. 25ULBከዋክብትም ከሰማይ ይወድቃሉ፣ በሰማያት ውስጥ ያሉ ኃይላትም ይናወጣሉ፡፡BSBBSB: the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’
26. 26ULBእነርሱም የሰው ልጅ በደመና ውስጥ በታላቅ ኃይልና ክብር ሲመጣ ያዩታል፡፡BSBBSB: At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27. 27ULBከምድር ጫፍ እስከ ጫፍ ለእርሱ የተመረጡትን ከአራቱም ነፋሳት በአንድ ላይ እንዲሰበስቡለት መላዕክትን ይልካቸዋል፡፡BSBBSB: And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
28. 28ULBምሳሌውን ከበለስ ዛፍ ተማሩ፤ ቅርንጫፏ ሲለሰልስ፣ ቅጠሏም ሲያቆጠቁጥ ያን ጊዜ በጋ መቃረቡን ታውቃላችሁ፡፡BSBBSB: Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.
29. 29ULBእናንተም ደግሞ እነዚህ ነገሮች ሲፈጸሙ በምታዩበት ጊዜ የሰው ልጅ በበር ላይ መሆኑን ታውቃላችሁ፡፡BSBBSB: So also, when you see these things happening, know that He is near, right at the door.
30. 30ULBእውነት እላችኋለሁ፣ እነዚህ ነገሮች እስኪፈጸሙ ድረስ ይህ ትውልድ አያልፍም፡፡BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.
31. 31ULBሰማይና ምድር ያልፋል፣ ቃሌ ግን አያልፍም፡፡BSBBSB: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
32. 32ULBስለዚያች ቀን ወይም ስለዚያች ሰዓት ግን ከአባት በስተቀር የሰማይ መላዕክትም ቢሆኑ፣ ልጅም ቢሆን ማንም አያውቅም፡፡BSBBSB: No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
33. 33ULBጊዜው መቼ እንደሆነ አታውቁምና አስተውሉ፣ ንቁና ጸልዩ፡፡BSBBSB: Be on your guard and stay alert! For you do not know when the appointed time will come.
34. 34ULBነገሩ ለአገልጋዮቹ ሥልጣን፣ ለእያንዳንዳቸውም የሥራ ድርሻ በመስጠት ዘበኛውም ደግሞ እንዲጠብቅ አዝዞት ቤቱን ትቶ ወደ ሩቅ ሀገር የሚሔድን ሰው ይመስላል፡፡BSBBSB: It is like a man going on a journey who left his house, put each servant in charge of his own task, and instructed the doorkeeper to keep watch.
35. 35ULB35የቤቱ ጌታ በምሽት፣ ወይም በእኩለ ሌሊት፣ ወይም ዶሮ ሲጮህ፣ ወይም ጠዋት ላይ ምን ጊዜ እንደሚመጣ አታውቁምና እንግዲህ ንቁ!BSBBSB: Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when the master of the house will return—whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.
36. 36ULBበድንገት ሲመጣ እንቅልፍ ላይ ሆናችሁ እንዳያገኛችሁ፡፡BSBBSB: Otherwise, he may arrive without notice and find you sleeping.
37. 37ULBለእናንተ የምነግራችሁን ለሁሉም እናገራለሁ፣ንቁ!BSBBSB: And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Keep watch!”
