1. 1ULBኢየሱስና ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም እንደቀረቡ፣ በደብረ ዘይት ወዳለው ወደ ቤተ ፋጌ መጡ፤BSBBSB: As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent out two disciples,
2. 2ULBከዚያም ኢየሱስ እንዲህ በማለት ሁለት ደቀ መዛሙርት ላከ፤ “ወደሚቀጥለው መንደር ሂዱ፤ አህያም ከነውርንጫዋ ታስራ ታገኛላችሁ። ፈትታችሁ ወደ እኔ አምጧቸው፤BSBBSB: saying to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to Me.
3. 3ULBማንም ስለዚያ አንዳች ቢናገራችሁ፣ እርሱም ከእናንተ ጋር ፈጥኖ ይሰዳቸዋል።”BSBBSB: If anyone questions you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”
4. 4ULBይህ የሆነው፣ “እነሆ፣ ንጉሥሽ ትሑት ሆኖ በአህያና በውርንጫዋ ላይ ተቀምጦ ወደ አንቺ ይመጣል ብላችሁ ለጽዮን ልጅ ንገሯት” ተብሎ በነቢዩ የተተነበየው ይፈጸም ዘንድ ነው።BSBBSB: This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
5. 6ULBከዚያም ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ሄደው ልክ ኢየሱስ እንዳዘዛቸው አደረጉ።BSBBSB: So the disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them.
6. 7ULBአህያይቱንና ውርንጫዋን አመጡ፤ ልብሳቸውንም አደረጉባቸውና ኢየሱስ ተቀመጠባቸው።BSBBSB: They brought the donkey and the colt and laid their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.
7. 8ULBከሕዝቡ አብዛኞቹ ልብሳቸውን በመንገድ ላይ አነጠፉ፣ ሌሎችም የዘንባባ ዝንጣፊ እየቈረጡ በመንገድ ላይ አደረጉ።BSBBSB: A massive crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
8. 9ULBከኢየሱስ ፊት ይሄዱ የነበሩትና የተከተሉትም ሕዝብ፣ “ሆሣዕና ለዳዊት ልጅ በጌታ ስም የሚመጣ እርሱ የተባረከ ነው። ሆሣዕና በአርያም ይሁን!” በማለት ጮኹ።BSBBSB: The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed were shouting: “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!”
9. 10ULBኢየሱስ ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም በመጣ ጊዜ ከተማይቱ በሞላ ታወከችና፣ “ይህ ማን ነው?” አለች።BSBBSB: When Jesus had entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”
10. 11ULBሕዝቡ፣ “ይህ ከገሊላ ናዝሬት የሆነው ነቢዩ ኢየሱስ ነው” ብለው መለሱ።BSBBSB: The crowds replied, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
11. 12ULBከዚያም ኢየሱስ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ቤተ መቅደስ ሄደ። በቤተ መቅደስ የሚሸጡትንና የሚገዙትን አስወጣ። የገንዘብ ለዋጮችን ጠረጴዛዎችና ወንበሮች ገለበጠ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves.
12. 13ULBእንዲህም አላቸው፤ ‘ቤቴ የጸሎት ቤት ይባላል’ ተብሎ ተጽፏል። እናንተ ግን የወንበዴዎች ዋሻ አደረጋችሁት።"BSBBSB: And He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
13. 14ULBከዚያም ዐይነ ስውሮችና ሽባዎች ወደ እርሱ ወደ ቤተ መቅደስ መጡ፤ እርሱም ፈወሳቸው።BSBBSB: The blind and the lame came to Him at the temple, and He healed them.
14. 15ULBነገር ግን የካህናት አለቆችና የሕግ መምህራን እርሱ ያደረጋቸውን ድንቅ ነገሮች ባዩና በቤተ መቅደስ ልጆች፣ “ሆሣዕና ለዳዊት ልጅ” በማለት ሲጮኹ በሰሙ ጊዜ፣ ተቈጡ።BSBBSB: But the chief priests and scribes were indignant when they saw the wonders He performed and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David!”
15. 16ULB“ሕዝቡ የሚሉትን ትሰማለህን?” አሉት። ኢየሱስ፣ “አዎ! ነገር ግን ‘ከሕፃናትና ከሚጠቡት አፍ ምስጋናን አዘጋጀህ’ የሚለውን ከቶ አላነበባችሁምን?” አላቸው።BSBBSB: “Do You hear what these children are saying?” they asked. “Yes,” Jesus answered. “Have you never read: ‘From the mouths of children and infants You have ordained praise’?”
16. 17ULBከዚያም ኢየሱስ ትቷቸው ከከተማው ወጣና ወደ ቢታንያ ሄዶ በዚያ ዐደረ።BSBBSB: Then He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where He spent the night.
17. 18ULBኢየሱስ ጠዋት ወደ ከተማው እንደተመለሰ፣ ተራበ።BSBBSB: In the morning, as Jesus was returning to the city, He was hungry.
18. 19ULBበመንገድ ዳር አንዲት የበለስስ ተክል አየና ወደ እርሷ ሄደ፤ ነገር ግን ከቅጠል በቀር ምንም አላገኘባትም። “ሁለተኛ ከቶ ፍሬ አይገኝብሽ” አላት። የበለስ ተክሊቱም ወዲያውኑ ደረቀች።BSBBSB: Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. “May you never bear fruit again!” He said. And immediately the tree withered.
19. 20ULBደቀ መዛሙርቱ ባዩአት ጊዜ ተደንቀው፣ “የበለስ ተክሊቱ እንዴት ወዲያውኑ ደረቀች?” አሉ።BSBBSB: When the disciples saw this, they marveled and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”
20. 21ULBኢየሱስ መልሶ እንዲህ አላቸው፤ "እውነት እላችኋለሁ፣ እምነት ቢኖራችሁና ባትጠራጠሩ፣ በዚች የበለስ ተክል የሆነባትን ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ ይህን ኮረብታ ከዚህ ተነሥተህ ወደ ባሕር ተወርወር ብትሉት እንኳ ይሆናል።BSBBSB: “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
21. 22ULBአምናችሁ በጸሎት የምትለምኑትን ሁሉ ትቀበላላችሁ።”BSBBSB: If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
22. 23ULBኢየሱስ ወደ ቤተ መቅደስ ገብቶ ሲያስተምር የካህናት አለቆችና የሕዝቡ ሽማግሌዎች ወደ እርሱ መጥተው፣ “በምን ሥልጣን እነዚህን ነገሮች ታደርጋለህ? ይህንስ ሥልጣን ማን ሰጠህ?” አሉ።BSBBSB: When Jesus returned to the temple courts and began to teach, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him. “By what authority are You doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave You this authority?”
23. 24ULBኢየሱስ መልሶ እንዲህ አላቸው፤ “እኔ ደግሞ አንድ ጥያቄ እጠይቃችኋለሁ። ያንን ከነገራችሁኝ እኔ ደግሞ በማን ሥልጣን እነዚህን ነገሮች እንደማደርግ እነግራችኋለሁ።BSBBSB: “I will also ask you one question,” Jesus replied, “and if you answer Me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
24. 25ULBየዮሐንስ ጥምቀት ከየት መጣ ከሰማይ ነውን ወይስ ከሰዎች?” እርስ በርሳቸው እንዲህ በማለት ተነጋገሩ፤ “ከሰማይ ነው ብንለው፣ ‘ለምን አታምኑትም?’ ይለናል።BSBBSB: What was the source of John’s baptism? Was it from heaven or from men?” They deliberated among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
25. 26ULBነገር ግን ‘ከሰው ነው ብንል፣ ዮሐንስን እንደ ነቢይ ስለሚያዩት ሕዝቡን እንፈራለን።”BSBBSB: But if we say, ‘From men,’ we are afraid of the people, for they all regard John as a prophet.”
26. 27ULBከዚያም መልሰው ኢየሱስን፣ “አናውቅም” አሉት። እርሱ ደግሞ፣ “እኔም በምን ሥልጣን እነዚህን ነገሮች እንደማደርግ አልነግራችሁም” አላቸው።BSBBSB: So they answered, “We do not know.” And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
27. 28ULBነገር ግን ምን ይመስላችኋል? አንድ ሰው ሁለት ልጆች ነበሩት፣ ወደ መጀመሪያው ሄዶ፣ ልጄ ሆይ፣ ዛሬ ወደ ወይኑ አትክልት ስፍራ ሄደህ ሥራ’ አለው።BSBBSB: But what do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first one and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’
28. 29ULBልጁ መልሶ፣ ‘አልሄድም’ አለ፤ በኋላ ግን ዐሳቡን ለውጦ ሄደ።BSBBSB: ‘I will not,’ he replied. But later he changed his mind and went.
29. 30ULBሰውዬውም ወደ ሁለተኛው ልጅ ሄዶ ይህንኑ ነገረው። ይህኛው ልጅ መልሶ፣ ‘እሄዳለሁ፣ አባዬ’ አለ። ነገር ግን አልሄደም።BSBBSB: Then the man went to the second son and told him the same thing. ‘I will, sir,’ he said. But he did not go.
30. 31ULBከሁለቱ ልጆች የአባቱን ትእዛዝ የፈጸመው የትኛው ነው? እነርሱ፣ "የመጀመሪያው” አሉ። ኢየሱስ እንዲህ አላቸው፦ “እውነት እላችኋለሁ፣ ቀረጥ ሰብሳቢዎችና አመንዝራዎች ቀድመዋችሁ ወደ እግዚአብሔር መንግሥት ይገባሉ።BSBBSB: Which of the two did the will of his father?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you.
31. 32ULBዮሐንስ በጽድቅ መንገድ ወደ እናንተ መጥቶ ነበርና፤ እናንተ ግን አላመናችሁትም፤ ቀረጥ ሰብሳቢዎችና አመንዝራዎች ግን አመኑት። እናንተም ይህ ሲሆን አይታችሁ ታምኑት ዘንድ በኋላ እንኳ ንሰሐ አልገባችሁም።BSBBSB: For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.
32. 33ULBሌላም ምሳሌ ስሙ። ሰፊ መሬት ያለው አንድ ሰው ነበር። የወይን አትክልት ተከለ፤ ዐጥር አጠረለት፤ የወይን መጥመቂያ ማሰለት፤ መጠበቂያ ማማ ሠራለት፤ ለወይን ገበሬዎችም አከራይቶ ወደ ሌላ አገር ሄደ።BSBBSB: Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a tower. Then he rented it out to some tenants and went away on a journey.
33. 34ULBየወይን ፍሬ የሚሰበሰብበት ጊዜ እንደ ደረሰ፣ ፍሬውን እንዲቀበሉ ጥቂት አገልጋዮችን ላከ።BSBBSB: When the harvest time drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his share of the fruit.
34. 35ULBየወይኑ ገበሬዎች ግን አገልጋዮቹን ያዙ፤ አንዱን ደበደቡት፣ ሌላውን ገደሉት፤ ሌላውንም በድንጋይ ወገሩት።BSBBSB: But the tenants seized his servants. They beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
35. 36ULBባለቤቱ እንደ ገና ከፊተኞቹ የበዙ ሌሎች አገልጋዮችን ላከ፤ ነገር ግን የወይን ገበሬዎቹ ያንኑ አደረጉባቸው።BSBBSB: Again, he sent other servants, more than the first group. But the tenants did the same to them.
36. 37ULBከዚያ በኋላ ባለቤቱ፣ ‘ልጄንስ ያከብሩታል’ በማለት የገዛ ልጁን ላከ።BSBBSB: Finally, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said.
37. 38ULBየወይን ገበሬዎቹ ግን ልጁን ባዩ ጊዜ፣ እርስ በርሳቸው፣ 'ይህ ወራሹ ነው፤ ኑ፣ እንግደለውና ርስቱን እንውረስ’ ተባባሉ።BSBBSB: But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and take his inheritance.’
38. 39ULBስለዚህ ያዙትና ከወይኑ አትክልት ስፍራ ወደ ውጭ ጣሉት፤ ገደሉትም።BSBBSB: So they seized him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
39. 40ULBእንግዲህ የወይኑ አትክልት ባለቤት በሚመጣበት ጊዜ እነዚያን የወይን ገበሬዎች ምን ያደርጋቸዋል?”BSBBSB: Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard returns, what will he do to those tenants?”
40. 41ULBሕዝቡ እንዲህ አሉት፤ “እነዚያን ክፉ ሰዎች እጅግ በጣም አሰቃቂ በሆነ መንገድ ያጠፋቸዋል፤ ከዚያም የወይኑን አትክልት ስፍራ ወይኑ በሚያፈራበት ጊዜ ገንዘቡን ለሚከፍሉ ለሌሎች የወይን ገበሬዎች ያከራየዋል።”BSBBSB: “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and will rent out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him his share of the fruit at harvest time.”
41. 42ULBኢየሱስ እነርሱን፣“'ግንበኞች የናቁት ድንጋይ የማዕዘን ራስ ሆነ። ይህ ከጌታ ዘንድ ሆነ፤ ለዐይኖቻችንም ድንቅ ነው ተብሎ የተጻፈውን ፈጽሞ አላነበባችሁም?’BSBBSB: Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
42. 43ULBስለዚህ እላችኋለሁ፣ የእግዚአብሔር መንግሥት ከእናንተ ትወሰድና ፍሬዋን ለሚያፈራ ሕዝብ ትሰጣለች።BSBBSB: Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
43. 44ULBበዚህ ድንጋይ ላይ የሚወድቅ ሁሉ ይሰባበራል። ድንጋዩ የሚወድቅበትን ሁሉ ግን ይፈጨዋል።”BSBBSB: He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.”
44. 45ULBየካህናት አለቆችና ፈሪሳውያን ምሳሌዎቹን በሰሙ ጊዜ፣ የተናገረው ስለ እነርሱ እንደ ሆነ ተረዱ።BSBBSB: When the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they knew that Jesus was speaking about them.
45. 46ULBነገር ግን ሊይዙት በፈለጉ ጊዜ ሁሉ፣ ሰዎቹ እንደ ነቢይ ይቈጥሩት ስለ ነበር ሕዝቡን ፈሩ።BSBBSB: Although they wanted to arrest Him, they were afraid of the crowds, because the people regarded Him as a prophet.
