2 ULB በጽሁፉ ላይ የፈረሙ ካህናት እነዚህ ናቸው፡ ሠራያ፣ ዓዛርያስ፣ ኤርምያስ BSB BSB: Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,
3 ULB ፉስኮር፣ አማርያ፣ መልክያ፣ BSB BSB: Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah,
4 ULB ሐጡስ፣ ሰበንያ፣ መሉክ BSB BSB: Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch,
5 ULB ካሪም፣ ሜሪምት፣ አብድዩ BSB BSB: Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,
6 ULB ዳንኤል፣ ጌንቶን፣ ባሮክ BSB BSB: Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,
7 ULB ሜሱላም፣ አብያ፣ ሚያሚን፣ BSB BSB: Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,
8 ULB መዓዝያ፣ ቤልጋይ፣ ሸማያ እነዚህ ካህናት ነበሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: Maaziah, Bilgai, and Shemaiah. These were the priests.
9 ULB የፈረሙት ሌዋውያን ትውልዶች እነዚህ ነበሩ፡ የአዛንያ ልጅ ኢያሱ፣ ቤንዊ፣ ከኤንሐዳድ፣ ቀድምኤል፣ BSB BSB: The Levites: Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel,
10 ULB ሰባንያ፣ ሆዲያ፣ ቆሊጣስ፣ ፌልያ፣ ሐናን BSB BSB: and their associates: Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,
11 ULB ሚካ፣ ሪአብ፣ ሐሽብያ፣ BSB BSB: Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah,
12 ULB ዘኩርር ሰራብያ፣ ሰበንያ፣ BSB BSB: Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,
13 ULB ሆዲያ፣ ባኒ፣ ብኒኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Hodiah, Bani, and Beninu.
14 ULB በመጽሐፍ ጥቅሉ ላይ የፈረሙት የእስራኤል መሪዎች እነዚህ ነበሩ፡ ፋሮስ፣ ፈሐት፣ ሞዓብ፣ ኤላም፣ ዛቱዕ፣ ባኒ፡፡ BSB BSB: And the leaders of the people: Parosh, Pahath-moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani,
15 ULB ቡኒ፣ ዓዝጋድ፣ ቤባይ፣ BSB BSB: Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,
16 ULB አዶንያስ፣ በጉዋይ፣ ዓዲን BSB BSB: Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin,
17 ULB አጤር፣ ሕዝቅያስ፣ ዓዙር፣ BSB BSB: Ater, Hezekiah, Azzur,
18 ULB ሆዲያ፣ ሐሱም፣ ቤሳይ BSB BSB: Hodiah, Hashum, Bezai,
19 ULB ሐሪፍ፣ ዓናቶት፣ ኖባይ፣ BSB BSB: Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,
20 ULB መግጲዓስ፣ ሜሱላም፣ ኤዘር BSB BSB: Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,
21 ULB ሜሴዜቤል፣ ሳዶቅ፣ ያጹአ፣ BSB BSB: Meshezabel, Zadok, Jaddua,
22 ULB ፈላጥያ፣ ሐናን፣ ዓናያ፣ BSB BSB: Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,
23 ULB ሆሴዕ፣ ሐናንያ፣ አሱብ፣ BSB BSB: Hoshea, Hananiah, Hasshub,
24 ULB አሎኤስ፣ ፈልሃ፣ ሶቤቅ BSB BSB: Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek,
25 ULB ሬሁም፣ ሐሰብና፣ መዕሤያ፣ BSB BSB: Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,
26 ULB አኪያ፣ ሐናን፣ ዓናን፣ BSB BSB: Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,
27 ULB ሙሉክ፣ ካሪምና በዓና፡፡ BSB BSB: Malluch, Harim, and Baanah.
28 ULB ካህናቱን በር ጠባቂዎቹን፣ ዘማሪዎቹን እና የመቅደስ ሰራተኞቹን ጨምሮ የቀረው ሕዝብ የከበረ ስምምነት አደረጉ፡፡ እንደዚሁም አገራቸውን ለቀው የወጡትንና በእስራኤል ይኖሩ የነበሩትን ጎረቤቶቻቸው ከሆኑ ከሌሎች ህዝቦች ወንዶችን ሁሉ ጨመሩ፡፡ እነዚህ ወንዶች ከሚስቶቻቸውና የሚያደርጉትን ለይተው ከሚያውቁ ከፍ ካሉ ወንድና ሴት ልጆቻቸው ጋር ሆነው የእግዚአብሔርን ህግ እንደሚጠበቁ ቃል ገቡ፡፡ BSB BSB: “The rest of the people—the priests, Levites, gatekeepers, singers, temple servants, and all who had separated themselves from the people of the land to obey the Law of God—along with their wives and all their sons and daughters who are able to understand,
29 ULB ይህን የከበረ ስምምነት ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ ሁሉም ከመሪዎቻቸው ጋር ተባበሩ፡፡ እግዚአብሔር ለሙሴ የሰጠውን ህግጋት ሁሉ ለመታዘዝ ተስማሙ፡፡ ያህዌ አምላካችን ያዘዘውን፣ ድንጋጌዎቹንና ትዕዛዛቱን ሁሉ ለመከተልና ለመፈፀም ተስማሙ፡፡ ተከታዩን ለማድረግ ቃል ገቡ፡፡ BSB BSB: hereby join with their noble brothers and commit themselves with a sworn oath to follow the Law of God given through His servant Moses and to obey carefully all the commandments, ordinances, and statutes of the LORD our Lord.
30 ULB “ሴቶች ልጆቻችን ያህዌን የማያመልኩትን የዚህ ምድር ሰዎች እንዲያገቡ አንሰጥም፣ ወንድ ልጆቻችን ሴት ልጆቻቸውን እንዲያገቡም አንፈቅድም፡፡ BSB BSB: We will not give our daughters in marriage to the people of the land, and we will not take their daughters for our sons.
31 ULB ምድር የሚኖሩ የሌላ አገር ሰዎች በሰንበት ወይም በሌላ በተቀደሰ ቀን እህል ወይም ሌሎች ነገሮችን ሊሸጡልን ቢያመጡ፣ አንዳች ነገር አንገዛቸውም፡፡ እናም በየሰባት አመቱ አንዴ ለምድሪቱ እረፍት እንሰጣለን፤ በዚያን አንድ አመት ምንም አይነት እህል አንዘራም፤ እንዲሁም ለሌሎች አይሁዶች እዳቸውን ሁሉ እንሰርዛለን፡፡ BSB BSB: When the people of the land bring merchandise or any kind of grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we will not buy from them on a Sabbath or holy day. Every seventh year we will let the fields lie fallow and will cancel every debt.
32 ULB እንዲሁም እያንዳንዳችን ቤተ መቅደሱን ለሚያገለግሉና ለሚንከባከቡ በየአመቱ 5 ግራም ብር ለመክፈል ቃል ገባን፡፡ BSB BSB: We also place ourselves under the obligation to contribute a third of a shekel yearly for the service of the house of our God:
33 ULB በዚያ ገንዘብ እነዚህን ነገሮች መግዛት ይችላሉ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት በገበታው ላይ የሚቀርብ ዳቦ፣ በእያንዳንዱ ቀን በመሰዊያው ላይ የሚቀርብ የእህል ቁርባን፣ በመሰዊያ ላይ ታርደው ሙሉ ለሙሉ የሚቃጠሉ እንስሳት፣ ለእግዚአብሔር በሰንበት የሚርቡ የተቀደሱ መስዋዕቶች እና የአዲስ ጨረቃ በዓልን ለማክበርና ለሌሎች በዓላት መስዋዕቶች፣ ለእስራኤል ህዝቦች ኃጢአት መስዋዕት የሚሆኑ እንስሳት፣ እና ማናቸውም የቤተመቅደሱን ሥራ ለመንከባከብ የሚያስፈልጉ ሌሎች ነገሮች መግዛት ይችላሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: for the showbread, for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings, for the Sabbath offerings, for the New Moons and appointed feasts, for the holy offerings, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the duties of the house of our God.
34 ULB በየአመቱ ካህናቱ፣ ካህናቱን የሚረዱ የሌዊ ትውልዶች እና የተቀረነው በእግዚአብሔር ሕግ እንደተፃፈው በዚያ አመት ከሌዋውያን መሃል የትኛው ቤተሰብ በአምካላችን በእግዚአብሔር ቤት መስዋዕቶቹን ለማቅረብ በመሰዊያው ላይ የሚነደውን እንጨት እንደሚያቀርቡ ለመወሰን እጣዎችን እንጥላለን፡፡ BSB BSB: We have cast lots among the priests, Levites, and people for the donation of wood by our families at the appointed times each year. They are to bring it to the house of our God to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law.
35 ULB በእያንዳንዱ አመት እያንዳንዱ ቤተሰብ በእርሻችን ካበቀልነውና ለምግብ ካጨድነው እንዲሁም በዚያ አመት ከፍራፍሬ ዛፎች የተገኘውን በኩራት መስዋዕት አድረገን ወደ ቤተ መቅደስ ለማምጣት ቃል እንገባለን፡፡ BSB BSB: We will also bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the house of the LORD year by year.
36 ULB የበኩር ወንድ ልጆችንና የላም፣ የበግና የፍየል በኩሮችን ለእግዚአብሔር መታሰበያ አድርገን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ቤት እናመጣለን፡፡ ማድረግ የሚገባን፣ በእግዚአብሔር ሕግጋት የተፃፈው ይህ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: And we will bring the firstborn of our sons and our livestock, as it is written in the Law, and will bring the firstborn of our herds and flocks to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God.
37 ULB በየአመቱ ካመረትነው እህል ከበኩራቱ የተዘጋጀ ዱቄት ለካህናቱ ወደ ቤተ መቅደስ እናመጣለን፣ እንዲሁም ሌሎች የወይን፣ የወይራ ዘይትና የፍራፍሬ መስዋዕቶችንም ከበኩራቱ እናመጣለን፡፡ ካህናቱን ለሚረዱ የሌዊ ትውልዶች አስራቶችንም እናመጣለን፡፡ BSB BSB: Moreover, we will bring to the priests at the storerooms of the house of our God the firstfruits of our dough, of our grain offerings, of the fruit of all our trees, and of our new wine and oil. A tenth of our produce belongs to the Levites, so that they shall receive tithes in all the towns where we labor.
38 ULB የአሮን ትውልድ የሆነ አንድ ካህን፣ ከሌዋውያን ጋር ሆኖ አስራቶችን ሲሰበስቡ አብሮ ይገኛል፡፡ ከዚያ የሌዊ ትውልዶች ድርሻቸውን ይወስዳሉ፤ ህዝቡ ካመጣው ነገሮች አንድ አስረኛውን ይወስዱና በቤተ መቅደስ በግምጃ ቤት ያስቀምጣሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: A priest of Aaron’s line is to accompany the Levites when they collect the tenth, and the Levites are to bring a tenth of these tithes to the storerooms of the treasury in the house of our God.
39 ULB የሌዊ ትወልዶችና አንዳንድ የእስራኤል ሰዎች በቤተ መቅደስ ለሚያገለግሉ የእህል፣ የወይን፣ እና የወይራ ዘይት ስጦታዎችን የተለያዩ መገልገያዎች ወደ ሚከማቹበት ግምጃ ቤቶች መውሰድ አለባቸው፡፡ በዚያን ጊዜ የሚያገለግሉ ካህናት፣ በር ጠባቂዎች፣ እና በቤተ መቅደስ የሚዘምሩ የዝማሬ ቡድን የሚኖሩበት ስፍራ ይህ ነው፡፡ “የአምላካችንን ቤተ መቅደስ ከመጠበቅ ቸል እንደማንል ቃል እንገባለን፡፡” BSB BSB: For the Israelites and the Levites are to bring the contributions of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are kept and where the ministering priests, the gatekeepers, and the singers stay. Thus we will not neglect the house of our God.”
