1 ULB ያህዌን አመስግኑ፣ ስሙንም ጥሩ ሥራውንም በሕዝቦች መካከል ግለጡ፡፡ BSB BSB: Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations.
2 ULB ለእርሱ የምስጋና መዝሙር አቅርቡ ድንቅ ሥራዎቹን ሁሉ ተናገሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.
3 ULB በቅዱስ ስሙ ተጓደዱ ያህዌን የሚፈልግ ልብ ደስ ይበለው፡፡ BSB BSB: Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
4 ULB ያህዌንና ብርታቱን ፈልጉ ፊቱንም ዘወትር ፈልጉ፡፡ BSB BSB: Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
5 ULB ያደረጋቸውን ድንቅ ሥራዎች ተአምራቱንና ከአፉ የወጣውን ፍርድ ፈልጉ፡፡ BSB BSB: Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced,
6 ULB እናንት የአገልጋዩ የአብርሃም ዘሮች እርሱ የመረጣችሁ የያዕቆብ ልጆች ሆይ አስታውሱ፡፡ BSB BSB: O offspring of His servant Abraham, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7 ULB እርሱ አምላካችን ያህዌ ነው ፍርዱም በምድር ሁሉ ላይ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth.
8 ULB ኪዳኑን ለዘላለም፣ ያዘዘውንም ቃል እስከ ሺህ ትውልድ ዘመን ያስታውሳል፡፡ BSB BSB: He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations—
9 ULB ከአብርሃም ጋር ያደረገውን ኪዳን ለይስሐቅም በመሐላ የሰጠውን ተስፋ አይረሳም፡፡ BSB BSB: the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac.
10 ULB ይህን ለያዕቆብ ሥርዐት ለእስራኤልም የዘላለም ኪዳን አድርጐ አጸናው፡፡ BSB BSB: He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 ULB እንዲህም አለ፣ «የርስትህ ድርሻ እንዲሆን የከነዓንን ምድር እሰጥሃለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: “I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 ULB ይህን ያለው እነርሱ በቁጥር አነስተኞች፣ እጅግ ጥቂትና ባይተዋሮች ሳሉ፣ BSB BSB: When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land,
13 ULB ከሕዝብ ወደ ሕዝብ ሲንከራተቱ፣ ከአንዱ መንግሥት ወደ ሌላው መንግሥት ሲቅበዘበዙ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
14 ULB ማንም እንዲጨቁናቸው አልፈቀደም ስለ እነርሱም ነገሥታትን ገሠጸ፡፡ BSB BSB: He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf:
15 ULB «የቀባኋቸውን አትንኩ፤ ነቢያቶቼንም አትጉዱ» አለ፡፡ BSB BSB: “Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!”
16 ULB በምድር ላይ ችጋርን ጠራ የምግብንም አቅርቦት ሁሉ አቋረጠ፡፡ BSB BSB: He called down famine on the land and cut off all their supplies of food.
17 ULB ከእነርሱ አስቀድሞ በባርነት የተሸጠው ዮሴፍን ላከ፡፡ BSB BSB: He sent a man before them—Joseph, sold as a slave.
18 ULB እግሮቹ በእግር ብረት ተላላጡ አንገቱም ላይ የብረት ማነቆ ገባ፡፡ BSB BSB: They bruised his feet with shackles and placed his neck in irons,
19 ULB የተናገረው እስኪፈጸም ድረስ የያህዌ ቃል ፈተነው፡፡ BSB BSB: until his prediction came true and the word of the LORD proved him right.
20 ULB እርሱን እንዲፈቱ ንጉሡ አገልጋዮቹን ላከ፤ የሕዝቦችም ገዢ ነጻ አወጣው፡፡ BSB BSB: The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.
21 ULB የቤቱ ጌታ የንብረቱም ሁሉ አስተዳዳሪ አደረገው፡፡ BSB BSB: He made him master of his household, ruler over all his substance,
22 ULB በንጉሡ ባለ ሥልጣኖች ላይ አዛዥ ሆነ ለንጉሡም አማካሪዎች ጥበብን እንዲያስተምር ሥልጣን ተሰጠው፡፡ BSB BSB: to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.
23 ULB ከዚያም እስራኤል ወደ ግብፅ ሄደ እስከ ጊዜው ድረስ ያዕቆብ በካም ምድር ተቀመጠ፡፡ BSB BSB: Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.
24 ULB ያህዌ ሕዝቡን እጅግ አበዛ ከጠላቶቻቸውም ይልቅ ብርቱ አደረጋቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: And the LORD made His people very fruitful, more numerous than their foes,
25 ULB ሕዝቡን እንዲጠሉ ባርያዎቹንም እንዲበድሉ ልባቸውን አስጨከነ፡፡ BSB BSB: whose hearts He turned to hate His people, to conspire against His servants.
26 ULB ባርያውን ሙሴን እርሱ የመረጠውንም አሮንን ላከ፡፡ BSB BSB: He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.
27 ULB በግብፃውያን መካከል ምልክቶችን በካም ምድርም ድንቆችን አደረጉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They performed His miraculous signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 ULB ጨለማን ልኮ ምድርን ጽልመት አለበሳት ይሁን እንጂ ትእዛዞቹን አልፈጸሙም፡፡ BSB BSB: He sent darkness, and it became dark—yet they defied His words.
29 ULB ውሃቸውን ወደ ደም ለወጠ ዓሣዎቻቸውንም ፈጀ፡፡ BSB BSB: He turned their waters to blood and caused their fish to die.
30 ULB የነገሥታት እልፍኝ እንኳ ሳይቀር ምድራቸው በእንቁራሪት ተሸፈነች፡፡ BSB BSB: Their land teemed with frogs, even in their royal chambers.
31 ULB እርሱ ሲናገር ተናካሽ ዝንቦችና ተናዳፊ ትንኞች በአገራቸው ተርመሰመሱ፡፡ BSB BSB: He spoke, and insects swarmed—gnats throughout their country.
32 ULB በአገራቸው ላይ የበረዶ ድንጋይና መብረቅ አወረደ፡፡ BSB BSB: He gave them hail for rain, with lightning throughout their land.
33 ULB ወይናቸውንና በለሳቸውን መታ ሌሎች ዛፎቻቸውንም ሰባበረ፡፡ BSB BSB: He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.
34 ULB እርሱ ሲናገር አንበጣ መጣ ስፍር ቁጠር የሌለውም ኩብኩባ ከተፍ አለ፡፡ BSB BSB: He spoke, and the locusts came—young locusts without number.
35 ULB አንበጣ የምድሪቱን ዕፅዋት ሁሉ በላ እህላቸውንም ሁሉ ፈጀ፡፡ BSB BSB: They devoured every plant in their land and consumed the produce of their soil.
36 ULB ደግሞም የእያንዳንዱን ግብፃዊ በኩር ሁሉ የኃይላቸውንም ሁሉ በኩራት መታ፡፡ BSB BSB: Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor.
37 ULB እስራኤላውያንን ከወርቅና ከብር ጋር ከዚያ መርቶ አወጣ፤ ከነገዶቻቸው አንዱ እንኳ አልተደናቀፈም፡፡ BSB BSB: He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and none among His tribes stumbled.
38 ULB እጅግ ፈርተዋቸው ነበርና እስራኤላውያን አገር ለቀው ሲወጡ ግብፅ ደስ አላት፡፡ BSB BSB: Egypt was glad when they departed, for the dread of Israel had fallen on them.
39 ULB በሚሄዱበት ጊዜ በደመና ጋረዳቸው እሳትም በሌሊት አበራላቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.
40 ULB ምግብ እንዲሰጣቸው በለመኑት ጊዜ ድርጭት አመጣላቸው የሰማይንም እንጀራ አጠገባቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: They asked, and He brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 ULB ዐለቱን ሰነጠቀ፤ ውሃም ተንዶለዶለ BSB BSB: He opened a rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.
42 ULB ለባርያው ለአብርሃም የሰጠውን ቅዱስ የተስፋ ቃል አስታውሶአልና BSB BSB: For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.
43 ULB ሕዝቡን በደስታ፣ ምርጦቹንም በእልልታ መራቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He brought forth His people with rejoicing, His chosen with shouts of joy.
44 ULB የሕዝቦችን ምድር ሰጣቸው የእነርሱንም ሀብት ወረሱ፡፡ BSB BSB: He gave them the lands of the nations, that they might inherit the fruit of others’ labor,
45 ULB ይህም ሥርዐቱን ይጠብቁ ዘንድ ሕጉንም ይፈጽሙ ዘንድ ነው፡፡ ያህዌ ይመስገን BSB BSB: that they might keep His statutes and obey His laws. Hallelujah!
