1 ULB ቸር ነውና ምሕረቱም ለዘላለም ነውና ያህዌን አመስግኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.
2 ULB ያህዌ የተቤዣቸው ከጠላትም እጅ የታደጋቸው ይናገሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy
3 ULB ለባዕድ ምድር፣ ከምሥራቅና ከምዕራብ፣ ከሰሜንና ከደቡብ ሰበሰባቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: and gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
4 ULB በበረሐ መንገድ ጠፍቶአቸው በምድረ በዳ ተንከራተቱ የሚኖሩበትም ከተማ አላገኙም፡፡ BSB BSB: Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no path to a city in which to dwell.
5 ULB ተራቡ፤ ተጠሙ ከድካም የተነሣ ዛሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them.
6 ULB በተጨነቁ ጊዜ ወደ ያህዌ ጮኹ እርሱም ከመከራቸው አዳናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress.
7 ULB ወደሚኖሩበት ከተማ በቀና መንገድ መራቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He led them on a straight path to reach a city where they could live.
8 ULB ለሰው ልጆች ስላደረገው ድንቅ ነገርና ስለዘላለማዊ ፍቅሩ ሕዝቡ ያህዌን ያመስግኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
9 ULB እርሱ የተጠማችውን ነፍስ አርክቶአልና የተራበችውን ነፍስ በመልካም ነገር አጥግቦአል፡፡ BSB BSB: For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
10 ULB አንዳንዶች በሰንሰለት ታስረው ድቅድቅ ጨለማ ውስጥ ይኖሩ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and chains,
11 ULB ይህም የሆነው በእግዚአብሔር ቃል በማመፃቸው የልዑልንም ምክር በማቃለላቸው ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: because they rebelled against the words of God and despised the counsel of the Most High.
12 ULB በከባድ ሥራ ልባቸውን አዛለ ተዘለፈለፉ፤ የሚረዳቸውም አላገኙም፡፡ BSB BSB: He humbled their hearts with hard labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.
13 ULB በተጨነቁ ጊዜ ወደ ያህዌ ጮኹ፤ እርሱም ከመከራቸው አዳናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.
14 ULB ከነበሩበት ድቅድቅ ጨለማ አወጣቸው የታሰሩበትንም ሰንሰለት ሰባበረ፡፡ BSB BSB: He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke away their chains.
15 ULB ለሰው ልጆች ስላደረገው ድንቅ ነገርና ስለ ዘላለማዊ ፍቅሩ ሕዝቡ ያህዌን ያመስግኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
16 ULB እርሱ የናሱን በሮች ሰብሮአልና የብረቱንም መወርወሪያ ቆርጦአል፡፡ BSB BSB: For He has broken down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.
17 ULB አንዳንዶች የዐመፃን መንገድ በመከተላቸው ቂሎች ሆኑ ከበደላቸው የተነሣ ችግር ውስጥ ወደቁ፡፡ BSB BSB: Fools, in their rebellious ways, and through their iniquities, suffered affliction.
18 ULB ምግብ የመብላት ፍላጐት አጡ፤ ወደ ሞት በሮችም ተቃረቡ፡፡ BSB BSB: They loathed all food and drew near to the gates of death.
19 ULB በተጨነቁ ጊዜ ወደ ያህዌ ጮኹ እርሱም ከመከራቸው አዳናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.
20 ULB ቃሉን ልኮ ፈወሳቸው፡፡ ከመቃብር አፋፍ መለሳቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He sent forth His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit.
21 ULB ለሰው ልጆች ስላደረገው ድንቅ ነገርና ስለ ዘላለማዊ ፍቅሩ ሕዝቡ ያህዌን ያመስግኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
22 ULB የምስጋና መሥዋዕት ያቅርቡለት በዝማሬም ሥራውን ያውጁ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare His works with rejoicing.
23 ULB አንዳንዶች በመርከብ እየተጓዙ ንግዳቸውን ያካሄዱ ነበር፡፡ BSB BSB: Others went out to sea in ships, conducting trade on the mighty waters.
24 ULB እነርሱ የያህዌን ሥራ አዩ ድንቅ አድራጐቱንም በጥልቅ ውስጥ ተመለከቱ፡፡ BSB BSB: They saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep.
25 ULB ትእዛዝ በሰጠ ጊዜ ባሕሩን የሚያናውጥ ዐውሎ ነፋስ ነፈሰ፡፡ BSB BSB: For He spoke and raised a tempest that lifted the waves of the sea.
26 ULB ወደ ሰማይ ወጡ፤ ወደ ጥልቅም ወረዱ ከመከራቸው የተነሣ ልባቸው ቀለጠ፡፡ BSB BSB: They mounted up to the heavens, then sunk to the depths; their courage melted in their anguish.
27 ULB እንደ ሰካራም ዞሮባቸው ወዲያ ወዲህ ተንገዳገዱ፤ መላው ጠፍቶባቸው የሚያደርጉትን አጡ፡፡ BSB BSB: They reeled and staggered like drunkards, and all their skill was useless.
28 ULB በመከራቸው ጊዜ ወደ ያህዌ ጮኹ፤ እርሱም ከመከራቸው አዳናቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress.
29 ULB ዐውሎ ነፋሱን ጸጥ አደረገ ሞገዱም ረጭ አለ፡፡ BSB BSB: He calmed the storm to a whisper, and the waves of the sea were hushed.
30 ULB ባሕሩ ጸጥ በማለቱ ደስ አላቸው ወዳሰቡትም ወደብ አደረሳቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: They rejoiced in the silence, and He guided them to the harbor they desired.
31 ULB ለሰው ልጆች ስላደረገው ድንቅ ነገር ስለ ዘላለማዊ ፍቅሩ ሕዝቡ ያህዌን ያመስግኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men.
32 ULB በሕዝቦች ጉባኤ መካከል ከፍ ከፍ ያደርጉት በሽማግሌዎችም ሸንጐ ያመስግኑት፡፡ BSB BSB: Let them exalt Him in the assembly of the people and praise Him in the council of the elders.
33 ULB ወንዞችን ወደ ምድረ በዳ የውሃ ምንጮችንም ወደ ደረቅ ምድር ለወጠ፡፡ BSB BSB: He turns rivers into deserts, springs of water into thirsty ground,
34 ULB ከነዋሪዎቿ ክፋት የተነሣ ፍሬያማዋን መሬት ደረቅ ምድር አደረገ፡፡ BSB BSB: and fruitful land into fields of salt, because of the wickedness of its dwellers.
35 ULB ምድረ በዳውን ወደ ኩሬ ደረቁንም ምድር ወደ ውሃ ምንጭ ቀየረ፡፡ BSB BSB: He turns a desert into pools of water and a dry land into flowing springs.
36 ULB የተራቡትን በዚያ አኖረ የሚኖሩበትንም ከተማ ሠሩ፡፡ BSB BSB: He causes the hungry to settle there, that they may establish a city in which to dwell.
37 ULB በእርሻዎች እህል ዘሩ ወይንን ተከሉ፤ ብዙ መከርም ሰበሰቡ፡፡ BSB BSB: They sow fields and plant vineyards that yield a fruitful harvest.
38 ULB ይባርካቸዋል፤ እነርሱም እጅግ ይበዛሉ የከብቶቻቸውም ብዛት እንዲያንስ አያደርግም፡፡ BSB BSB: He blesses them, and they multiply greatly; He does not let their herds diminish.
39 ULB በጭንቅ፣ በመከራና በሐዘን፣ ቁጥራቸው አንሶ ተዋርደው ነበር፤ በመኳንንቱም ላይ መናቅን አወረደባቸው BSB BSB: When they are decreased and humbled by oppression, evil, and sorrow,
40 ULB መውጪያ መግቢያው በማይታወቅ በረሐ ውስጥም አንከራተታቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: He pours out contempt on the nobles and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland.
41 ULB ሆኖም፣ ችግረኞችን ከስቃይ አወጣቸው ለቤተ ሰቡም እንደ በግ መንጋ ተጠነቀቀ፡፡ BSB BSB: But He lifts the needy from affliction and increases their families like flocks.
42 ULB ቅኖች ይህን ዐይተው ደስ ይላቸዋል ክፋትም አፏን ትዘጋለች፡፡ BSB BSB: The upright see and rejoice, and all iniquity shuts its mouth.
43 ULB አስተዋይ የሆነ ሰው ይህን ልብ ይበል፤ እርሱም የያህዌን ምሕረት ያስተውል፡፡ BSB BSB: Let him who is wise pay heed to these things and consider the loving devotion of the LORD.
