1 ULB ጻድቃን ሆይ፣ በያህዌ ደስ ይበላችሁ ቅኖች ሊያመሰግኑት ይገባል፡፡ BSB BSB: Rejoice in the LORD, O righteous ones; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him.
2 ULB ያህዌን በመሰንቆ አመስግት ዐሥር አውታር ባለው በገና ዘምሩለት፡፡ BSB BSB: Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to Him with ten strings.
3 ULB አዲስ ዝማሬ አቅርቡለት ባማረ ቅኝት በገና ደርድሩ፤ እልልም በሉ፡፡ BSB BSB: Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.
4 ULB የያህዌ ቃል እውነት ነው ሥራውም ሁሉ የታመነ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: For the word of the LORD is upright, and all His work is trustworthy.
5 ULB እርሱ ጽድቅንና ፍትሕን ይወዳል ምድር በያህዌ ኪዳን ታማኝት ተሞልታለች፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of His loving devotion.
6 ULB ያህዌ ሰማያትን በቃሉ የሰማይ ሰራዊትን በአፉ እስትንፋስ ፈጠረ፡፡ BSB BSB: By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the stars by the breath of His mouth.
7 ULB የባሕርን ውሆች እንደ ክምር ቀላዩንም በመከማቻ ስፍራ አኖረ፡፡ BSB BSB: He piles up the waters of the sea; He puts the depths into storehouses.
8 ULB ምድር ሁሉ ያህዌን ትፍራው በዓለም ያሉ ሁሉ በፊቱ ይንቀጥቀጥ፡፡ BSB BSB: Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere Him.
9 ULB እርሱ ተናግሮአልና ሆኑ፤ እርሱ አዞአልና በስፍራቸው ጸኑ፡፡ BSB BSB: For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.
10 ULB ያህዌ የሕዝቦችን ምክክር ያጨናግፋል ዕቅዳቸውንም ከንቱ ያደርጋል፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations; He thwarts the devices of the peoples.
11 ULB የያህዌ ዕቅድ ግን ለዘላለም ይኖራል የልቡም ሐሳቡም ለትውልድ ሁሉ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations.
12 ULB ያህዌ አምላኩ የሆነለት፣ ርስቱ እንዲሆን የመረጠውም ሕዝብ ቡሩክ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His inheritance!
13 ULB ያህዌ ከሰማይ ይመለከታል የሰው ልጆችንም ሁሉ ያያል፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD looks down from heaven; He sees all the sons of men.
14 ULB ከማደሪያው ሆኖ፣ በምድር የሚኖሩትን ሁሉ ይመለከታል፡፡ BSB BSB: From His dwelling place He gazes on all who inhabit the earth.
15 ULB የሁሉንም ልብ የሠራ እርሱ ነው የሚያደርጉትንም ሁሉ ይመለከታል፡፡ BSB BSB: He shapes the hearts of each; He considers all their works.
16 ULB ንጉሥ በሰራዊቱ ብዛት አይድንም፤ ጀግናም በኃይሉ ብርታት አያመልጥም፡፡ BSB BSB: No king is saved by his vast army; no warrior is delivered by his great strength.
17 ULB በፈረስ ድል አደርጋለሁ ማለት ከንቱ ተስፋ ነው፤ በብርቱ ጉልበቱም ማንም አይድንም BSB BSB: A horse is a vain hope for salvation; even its great strength cannot save.
18 ULB እነሆ፣ የያህዌ ዐይኖች በሚፈሩት ላይ ናቸው፤ በኪዳን ታማኝነቱ በሚታመኑት ላይ አትኩረዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Surely the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His loving devotion
19 ULB ይህም የሚሆነው ከሞት ሊያድናቸውና ከራብ ዘመንም ሊጠብቃቸው ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
20 ULB ያህዌን በተስፋ እንጠብቃለን እርሱ ረድኤታችንና ጋሻችን ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
21 ULB በቅዱስ ስሙ ተማምነናልና ልባችን በእርሱ ደስ ይለዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: For our hearts rejoice in Him, since we trust in His holy name.
22 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ተስፋችንን አንተ ላይ አድርገናልና ምሕረትህ በእኛ ላይ ይሁን፡፡ BSB BSB: May Your loving devotion rest on us, O LORD, as we put our hope in You.
