1 ULB ያህዌን ሁልጊዜ አመሰግናለሁ ምስጋናውም ዘወትር በአፌ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.
2 ULB ያህዌን አመሰግናለሁ! ትሑታን ይህን ሰምተው ደስ ይበላቸው፡፡ BSB BSB: My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice.
3 ULB ያህዌን ከእኔ ጋር አመስግኑት በአንድነት ስሙን ከፍ ከፍ እናድርግ፡፡ BSB BSB: Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together.
4 ULB ያህዌን ፈለግሁ እርሱም መለሰልኝ ከፍርሃቴም ሁሉ አዳነኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.
5 ULB ወደ እርሱ የሚመለከቱ ያበራሉ ፊታቸውም በፍጹም አያፍርም፡፡ BSB BSB: Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.
6 ULB ይህ ችግረኛ ጮኸ እግዚአብሔርም ሰማው ከመከራውም ሁሉ አዳነው፡፡ BSB BSB: This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.
7 ULB የያህዌ መልአክ በሚፈሩት ዙሪያ ይሰፍራል ያድናቸዋልም፡፡ BSB BSB: The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.
8 ULB ያህዌ መልካም መሆኑን ቀምሳችሁ እዩ፡፡ በእርሱ የተማመነ ሰው ቡሩክ ነው፡፡ BSB BSB: Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 ULB እናንተ ቅዱሳን ያህዌን ፍሩ እርሱን የሚፈሩ አንዳች አያጡምና፡፡ BSB BSB: Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.
10 ULB አንበሶች ሊያጡ ሊራቡም ይችላሉ ያህዌን የሚሹ ግን መልካም ነገር አይጐድልባቸውም፡፡ BSB BSB: Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
11 ULB ልጆቼ ሆይ፣ ኑ ስሙኝ ያህዌን መፍራት አስተምራችኋለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 ULB ሕይወትን የሚወድ፣ መልካም ነገርን ለማየት ረጅም ዕድሜ የሚፈልግ ማነው? BSB BSB: Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days?
13 ULB እንግዲያስ አንደበትህን ከክፉ ከልክል ከንፈርህንም ከውሸት ጠብቅ፡፡ BSB BSB: Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.
14 ULB ከክፉ ሽሽ፤ መልካሙንም አድርግ ሰላምን ፈልጋት ደግሞም ተከተላት፡፡ BSB BSB: Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
15 ULB የያህዌ ዐይኖች ጻድቃን ላይ ናቸው፡፡ ጆሮዎቹም ለጩኸታቸው ተከፍተዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.
16 ULB መታሰቢያቸውን ከምድር ላይ ለማጥፋት የያህዌ ፊት ክፉ በሚያደርጉ ላይ ነው። BSB BSB: But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.
17 ULB ጻድቃን ወደ ያህዌ ይጮኻሉ እርሱም ይሰማቸዋል፤ ከመከራቸውም ሁሉ ያድናቸዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles.
18 ULB ያህዌ ልባቸው ለተሰበረ ቅርብ ነው መንፈሳቸው የደቀቀውንም ያድናቸዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.
19 ULB የጻድቅ መከራው ብዙ ነው ያህዌ ግን ከሁሉም ያድነዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
20 ULB ዐጥንቶቹን ሁሉ ይጠብቃል ከእነርሱ አንዱ እንኳ አይሰበርም፡፡ BSB BSB: He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.
21 ULB ኃጢአተኛን ክፋት ይገድለዋል ጻድቃንን የሚጠሉ ይፈርድባቸዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned.
22 ULB ያህዌ የባርያዎቹን ነፍስ ይታደጋል እርሱንም መጠጊያ ያደረገ አይፈረድበትም፡፡ BSB BSB: The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
