3 ULB በመከራ ተሞልቻለሁና ነፍሴም ወደ ሲኦል ተቃርባለች፡፡ BSB BSB: For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol.
4 ULB ወደ መቃብር ከሚወርዱ ጋር ተቆጥሬአለሁ፤ ዐቅም አጣሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I am counted among those descending to the Pit. I am like a man without strength.
5 ULB በሙታን መካከል ፈጽሞ እንደ ተተዉ ሞተው መቃብር ውስጥ እንደ ተጋደሙ ከእንግዲህ ፈጽሞ እንደማታስታውሳቸውና ከእጅህ ወጥተው እንደ ተወገዱ ሆንሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: I am forsaken among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom You remember no more, who are cut off from Your care.
6 ULB ጥልቁ አዘቅት ውስጥ ጣልኸኝ ጨለማ ጉድጓድ ውስጥ ከተትኸኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: You have laid me in the lowest Pit, in the darkest of the depths.
7 ULB ቁጣህ እጅግ ከብዶኛል ማዕበልህም ሁሉ አጥለቅልቆኛል፡፡ BSB BSB: Your wrath weighs heavily upon me; all Your waves have submerged me. Selah
8 ULB ወዳጆቼን ሁሉ ከእኔ አራቅህ እንዲጸየፉኝም አደረግህ ዙሪያውን ተከብቤአለሁና ማምለጥ አልችልም፡፡ BSB BSB: You have removed my friends from me; You have made me repulsive to them; I am confined and cannot escape.
9 ULB ዐይኖቼ በሐዘን ፈዘዙ ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ቀኑን ሙሉ ወደ አንተ እጮኻለሁ እጆቼን ወደ አንተ ዘረጋሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: My eyes grow dim with grief. I call to You daily, O LORD; I spread out my hands to You.
10 ULB ለሙታን ተአምራት ታደርጋለህን? የሞቱትስ ተነሥተው ያመሰግኑሃልን? ሴላ BSB BSB: Do You work wonders for the dead? Do departed spirits rise up to praise You? Selah
11 ULB ምሕረትህ መቃብር ውስጥ ታማኝነትህስ በሙታን ዓለም ይነገራልን? BSB BSB: Can Your loving devotion be proclaimed in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?
12 ULB ድንቅ ሥራህ በጨለማ ስፍራ ጽድቅህስ በመረሳት ምድር ትቃወቃለችን? BSB BSB: Will Your wonders be known in the darkness, or Your righteousness in the land of oblivion?
13 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ እኔ ግን ወደ አንተ እጮኻለሁ በጧትም ጸሎቴን ወደ ፊት አቀርባለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: But to You, O LORD, I cry for help; in the morning my prayer comes before You.
14 ULB ያህዌ ሆይ፣ ለምን ትተወኛለህ? ፊትህንስ ከእኔ ለምን ትሰውራለህ? BSB BSB: Why, O LORD, do You reject me? Why do You hide Your face from me?
15 ULB ከልጅነቴ ጀምሮ ችግረኛና ሞት አፋፍ ላይ ያለሁ ሰው ነበርሁ፤ ከማስደንገጥህ የተነሣ ተስፋ ቆርጫለሁ፡፡ BSB BSB: From my youth I was afflicted and near death. I have borne Your terrors; I am in despair.
16 ULB ቁጣህ እኔ ላይ ተከነበለ መዓትህም አጠፋኝ፡፡ BSB BSB: Your wrath has swept over me; Your terrors have destroyed me.
17 ULB ቀኑን ሙሉ እንደ ጐርፍ ከበቡኝ ዙሪያውን አጥረው ያዙኝ፡፡፡ BSB BSB: All day long they engulf me like water; they enclose me on every side.
18 ULB ወዳጆቼንና የሚቀርቡኝን ሰዎች ሁሉ ከእኔ አራቅህ ጓደኛዬ ጨለማ ብቻ ሆኖ ቀረ፡፡ BSB BSB: You have removed my beloved and my friend; darkness is my closest companion.
