1. 1ULBስለዚህ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ውስጥ ላሉት አሁን ኩነኔ የለባቸውም።BSBBSB: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2. 2ULBምክንያቱም በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ውስጥ ያለው የመንፈስ ቅዱስ ሕግ ከኃጢአትና ከሞት ሕግ ነጻ አውጥቶኛል።BSBBSB: For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.
3. 3ULBበሥጋ ድካም ምክንያት ሕግ ሊፈጽመው ያልተቻለውን እግዚአብሔር ፈጽሞታል። እግዚአብሔር የገዛ ልጁን በኃጢአታዊ ሥጋ ምሳሌ ለኃጢአት መሥዋዕት ይሆን ዘንድ ልኮ ኃጢአትን በሥጋው ኮነነ።BSBBSB: For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh,
4. 4ULBይህንንም ያደረገው እንደ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ፈቃድ እንጂ እንደ ሥጋ ፈቃድ በማንመላለስ በእኛ የሕጉ ትዕዛዛት ይፈጸሙ ዘንድ ነው።BSBBSB: so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5. 5ULBእንደ ሥጋ ፈቃድ የሚኖሩ ስለሥጋዊ ነገሮች ያስባሉ፥እንደ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ፈቃድ የሚኖሩ ግን ስለመንፈስ ቅዱስ ነገሮች ያስባሉ።BSBBSB: Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
6. 6ULBየሥጋ አስተሳሰብ ሞት ሲሆን የመንፈስ ቅዱስ አስተሳሰብ ግን ሕይወትና ሰላም ነው።BSBBSB: The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,
7. 7ULBይህ የሆነበት ምክንያት የሥጋ አስተሳሰብ ለእግዚአብሔር ሕግ ስለማይገዛ፥መገዛትም ስለማይችል የእግዚአብሔር ጠላት በመሆኑ ነው።BSBBSB: because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
8. 8ULBበሥጋ ያሉትም እግዚአብሔርን ለማስደሰት አይችሉም።BSBBSB: Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.
9. 9ULBይሁን እንጂ የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ በእናንተ ውስጥ መኖሩ እውነት ከሆነ በመንፈስ እንጂ በሥጋ አይደላችሁም። ነገር ግን የክርስቶስ መንፈስ የሌለው ማንም ቢሆን ይህ የእርሱ ወገን አይደለም።BSBBSB: You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
10. 10ULBክርስቶስ በእናንተ ውስጥ ቢኖር ሥጋ በኃጢአት ምክንያት ምውት ነው፥ መንፈስ ግን በጽድቅ ምክንያት ህያው ነው።BSBBSB: But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11. 11ULBኢየሱስን ከሙታን ያስነሣው የእርሱ መንፈስ ቅዱስ በእናንተ ውስጥ ቢኖር ክርስቶስን ከሙታን ያስነሣው እርሱ በውስጣችሁ በሚኖረው በቅዱስ መንፈሱ አማካይነት ለሚሞተው ሰውነታችሁ ደግሞ ሕይወትን ይሰጠዋል።BSBBSB: And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
12. 12ULBስለዚህ ወንድሞች ሆይ ዕዳ አለብን፥ነገር ግን እንደ ሥጋ ፈቃድ ልንኖር ለሥጋ አይደለም።BSBBSB: Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.
13. 13ULBእንደ ሥጋ ፈቃድ ብትኖሩ መሞታችሁ አይቀርም፥የሥጋን ሥራ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ብትገድሉ ግን በሕይወት ትኖራላችሁ።BSBBSB: For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14. 14ULBበእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ የሚመሩ ሁሉ የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች ናቸው።BSBBSB: For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15. 15ULBተመልሳችሁ እንድትፈሩ የባርነትን መንፈስ አልተቀበላችሁም። ይልቅ የተቀበላችሁት "አባ፥አባት" ብለን የምንጮህበትን የልጅነትን መንፈስ ነው።BSBBSB: For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption to sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
16. 16ULBየእግዚአብሔር ልጆች መሆናችንን መንፈስ ቅዱስ ራሱ ከመንፈሳችን ጋር ይመሰክራል።BSBBSB: The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
17. 17ULBልጆች ከሆንን ወራሾችም ነን፥ማለትም የእግዚአብሔር ወራሾች ነን። ከእርሱ ጋር እንድንከብር በርግጥ አብረነው ደግሞ መከራን ብንቀበል ከክርስቶስ ጋር አብረን የምንወርስ ነን።BSBBSB: And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
18. 18ULBየአሁኑ ዘመን መከራ ሊገለጥልን ካለው ክብር ጋር ሊነጻጸር እንደማይገባው አስባለሁ።BSBBSB: I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.
19. 19ULBምክንያቱም ፍጥረት የእግዚአብሔርን ልጆች መገለጥ በናፍቆት ስለሚጠባበቅ ነው።BSBBSB: The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God.
20. 20ULBፍጥረት ለከንቱነት ተገዝቷልና ይህም ባስገዛው ፈቃድ እንጂ በራሱ ፈቃድ አይደለም። አስተማማኙ ተስፋምBSBBSB: For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope
21. 21ULBፍጥረት ራሱ ከመበስበስ ባርነት ነጻ ወጥቶ ወደ እግዚአብሔር ልጆች የክብር ነጻነት ይደርስ ዘንድ ነው።BSBBSB: that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22. 22ULBአሁን እንኳን መላው ፍጥረት አብሮ በመቃተትና በምጥ ጣር ላይ መሆኑን እናውቃለን።BSBBSB: We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time.
23. 23ULBይህም ብቻ አይደለም፥ነገር ግን የመንፈስ ቅዱስ የመጀመሪያው ፍሬ ያለን እኛ፥የሰውነታችን ቤዛ የሚሆነውን ልጅነታችንን እየተጠባበቅን እኛ ራሳችን እንኳን በውስጣችን እንቃትታለን።BSBBSB: Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24. 24ULBየዳንነው በዚህ ተስፋ ነው። ነገር ግን ተስፋ የምናደርገው የማይታየውን ነው፥የሚያየውንማ ማን በተስፋ ይጠባበቃል?BSBBSB: For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?
25. 25ULBገና ያላየነውን ተስፋ የምናደርግ ከሆነ ግን እንግዲያው በትዕግስት እንጠባበቀዋለን።BSBBSB: But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
26. 26ULBእንዲሁም መንፈስ ቅዱስ ደግሞ በድካማችን ውስጥ ያግዘናል። እንዴት መጸለይ እንደሚገባን ስለማናውቅ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ራሱ በቃላት ሊገለጥ በማይቻል መቃተት ስለ እኛ ይማልድልናል።BSBBSB: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.
27. 27ULBመንፈስ ቅዱስ ስለ አማኞች እንደ እግዚአብሔር ፈቃድ ስለሚማልድ ልብን የሚመረምረው እግዚአብሔር የመንፈስ ቅዱስን ሃሳብ ያውቃል።BSBBSB: And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28. 28ULBእግዚአብሔርን ለሚወዱት፥ በዓላማው ለተጠሩት ለእነርሱ ሁሉን ነገር አጣጥሞ ለመልካም እንደሚሠራላቸው እናውቃለን።BSBBSB: And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
29. 29ULBምክንያቱም አስቀድሞ ያወቃቸውን እነርሱን በብዙ ወንድሞች መካከል በኩር ይሆን ዘንድ የልጁን መልክ እንዲመስሉ አስቀድሞ ደግሞ ወሰነ።BSBBSB: For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
30. 30ULBአስቀድሞ የወሰናቸውን ደግሞ ጠራቸው። የጠራቸውን ደግሞ አጸደቃቸው። ያጸደቃቸውን ደግሞ አከበራቸው።BSBBSB: And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
31. 31ULBእንግዲህ ስለእነዚህ ነገሮች ምን እንላለን? እግዚአብሔር ከእኛ ጋር ከሆነ ማን ይቃወመናል?BSBBSB: What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32. 32ULBለገዛ ልጁ ያልራራለት ነገር ግን ስለሁላችን አሳልፎ የሰጠው እርሱ እንዴት ሁሉን ነገር ደግሞ ከልጁ ጋር በነጻ አይሰጠንም?BSBBSB: He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?
33. 33ULBእግዚአብሔር የመረጣቸውን ማን ይኮንናቸዋል? የሚያጸድቅ እግዚአብሔር ነው።BSBBSB: Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34. 34ULBየሚኮንንስ ማነው? ስለ እኛ የሞተው፥ ይልቁንም ደግሞ ከሞት የተነሣው ክርስቶስ ነው። እርሱ ከእግዚአብሔር ጋር በክብር ሥፍራ ይገዛል፥ስለ እኛም እየማለደልን ያለው እርሱ ነው።BSBBSB: Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
35. 35ULBከክርስቶስ ፍቅር ማን ይለየናል? መከራ ወይስ ጭንቀት ወይስ ስደት ወይስ ራብ ወይስ ራቁትነት ወይስ አደጋ ወይስ ሰይፍ ይለየናልን?BSBBSB: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36. 36ULB"ቀኑን ሙሉ ስለአንተ ብለን እንገደላለን። እንደሚታረዱ በጎች ተቆጠርን" ተብሎ እንደተጻፈው ነው።BSBBSB: As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37. 37ULBበእነዚህ ነገሮች ሁሉ ውስጥ በወደደን በእርሱ ከአሸናፊዎች እንበልጣለን።BSBBSB: No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38. 38ULBሞት ቢሆን ሕይወት፥ መላእክት ቢሆኑ መንግሥታት፥አሁን ያሉት ነገሮች ወይም ሊመጡ ያሉት ቢሆኑ፥ ኃይላት ቢሆኑ፥BSBBSB: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39. 39ULBከፍታም ቢሆን ዝቅታ፥ የትኛውም ሌላ ፍጥረት ቢሆን በጌታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ውስጥ ካለ ከእግዚአብሔር ፍቅር ሊለየኝ እንደማይችል ተረድቻለሁ።BSBBSB: neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
