1 ULB አንተ ግን፣ ከጤናማው ትምህርት ጋር የሚስማማውን ተናገር። BSB BSB: But as for you, speak the things that are consistent with sound doctrine.
2 ULB በእድሜ የገፋ ሰዎች ልከኞች፣ ጨዋዎች፣ ጠንቃቆች ጤናማ እምነት፣ ፍቅርና ጽናት ያላቸው ሊሆኑ ይገባችዋል፡፡ BSB BSB: Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, and sound in faith, love, and perseverance.
3 ULB በእድሜ የገፉ ሴቶችም እንዲሁ ጨዋዎችና፣ ከሃሜት የራቁ መሆን አለባቸው፡፡ ወይን ጠጅ ጠጪዎች መሆን አይገባቸውም። መልካም የሆነውን ማስተማር ይገባችዋል BSB BSB: Older women, likewise, are to be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers or addicted to much wine, but teachers of good.
4 ULB ወጣት ሴቶችን በአስተሳሰባቸው ሚዛናዊ እንዲሆኑ እንዲያሳስቧቸው፣ የገዛ ባሎቻቸውና ልጆቻቸውን የሚወዱ፣ ጠንቃቃ እንዲሆኑ እንዲያበርቷቷቸው፣ BSB BSB: In this way they can train the young women to love their husbands and children,
5 ULB የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እንዳይሰደብ ንፁህ፣ መልካም የቤት አስተዳዳሪና፣ ለባሎቻቸውም የሚታዘዙ ይሁኑ። BSB BSB: to be self-controlled, pure, managers of their households, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be discredited.
6 ULB በተመሳሳይ መንገድ፣ ወጣት ወንዶች ጠንቃቆች እንዲሆኑ አሳስባቸው። BSB BSB: In the same way, urge the younger men to be self-controlled.
7 ULB በነገር ሁሉ ራስህን የመልካም ሥራ ምሳሌ አድርገህ ተገኝ፤ በትምህርትም ንጽህናን፣ ጨዋነት፣ የማይነቀፍ ጤናማ ቃላት ይኑርህ። BSB BSB: In everything, show yourself to be an example by doing good works. In your teaching show integrity, dignity,
8 ULB ስለ እኛ የሚናገረው ምንም ክፉ ነገር እንዳይኖር። የማይነቀፍ ስህተት የሌለበትን፣ ነገር ግን ሊቃወም የሚሞክረውን የሚያሳፍር ቃላትን ተናገር። BSB BSB: and wholesome speech that is above reproach, so that anyone who opposes us will be ashamed, having nothing bad to say about us.
9 ULB ባሪያዎች በሁሉም ነገር ለጌቶቻቸው ይታዘዙ። ጌቶቻቸውን ደስ ሊያሰኟቸው ይሞክሩ እንጂ፣ አይከራከሯቸው። BSB BSB: Slaves are to submit to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,
10 ULB ስለ መድሃኒታችን እግዚአብሔር የምናስተምረው፣ በሁሉ መንገድ የሚማርክ እንዲሆን፣ ታማኝነትን ያሳዩ እንጂ አይስረቁ። BSB BSB: not stealing from them, but showing all good faith, so that in every respect they will adorn the teaching about God our Savior.
12 ULB ይህም ፀጋ ሃጢዓተኝነትና ዓለማዊ ምኞትን እንድንክድና፣ በአሁኑ ዘመን በጥንቃቄ፣ በጽድቅና፣ እግዚአብሔርን በመምሰል እንድንኖር ያስለምደናል BSB BSB: It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age,
13 ULB ይህም የተባረከውን ተስፋችንን፣ የታላቁን አምላካችንና አዳኛችንን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን ክብር መገለጥ፣ ለመቀበል በደስታ እንድንጠባበቅ ነው። BSB BSB: as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
14 ULB ኢየሱስ ራሱን ለእኛ የሰጠው፣ ከዓመፅ ነፃ ሊያወጣንና ሊያነፃን፣ ገንዘቡና መልካምን ለማድረግ የሚናፍቅ ሕዝብ፣ ለራሱ ሊያደርገን፣ ዋጋ ለመክፈል ነው። BSB BSB: He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
15 ULB እነዚህን ነገሮች ተናገር፣ አበረታታ፣ በሙሉ ስልጣን ገስጽ፣ ማንም አይናቅህ። BSB BSB: Speak these things as you encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
