1 ARST ثمَّ، أراني الملاكُ النهرَ الذي يجعل الناسَ الذين يشربون منه يعيشون إلى الأبد. كان الماء لامعًا وصافيًا كالبلُّور. وكان النهر ينبع مِن العرش الذي يجلس فيه الله والخروف، BSB BSB: Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb
2 ARST ويتدفَّق نازلًا عبر منتصف منطقة المدينة المفتوحة، وعلى ضفَّتي النهر، كانت هناك شجرة تجعل مَن يأكل ثمارها يعيش إلى الأبد، وكانت الأشجار هناك تُنتج الثمر اثنتي عشرة مرَّة في السنة، أي كانت تُنتج ثمرًا كلَّ شهرٍ، وكان الشعوب يستخدمون أوراق الأشجار كدواء. BSB BSB: down the middle of the main street of the city. On either side of the river stood a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
3 ARST ولن يلعن الله هناك أيَّ شخص أو أيَّ شيء. سيكون عرش الله والخروف في المدينة، وسيسجد عبيد الله له هناك. BSB BSB: No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within the city, and His servants will worship Him.
4 ARST سيرونه وجهًا لوجه، وسيظهر اسمه على جباههم. BSB BSB: They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
5 ARST لن يحلَّ ليل مرَّةً أخرى. ولن يحتاج عبيد الله إلى ضوء مصباح أو نور الشمس، لأنَّ الربَّ الإله سينير عليهم بنوره. وسيملكون إلى الأبد. BSB BSB: There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.
6 ARST قال لي الملاك: «هذه الأمور التي أراك إيَّاها الله هي حقيقيَّة، وسوف يجعلها تحدث بكلِّ تأكيد. الربُّ الإله الذي يُوحي للأنبياء أرسل ملاكه ليُظهر للناس الذين يخدمونه الأحداث التي ستحدث قريبًا». BSB BSB: Then the angel said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must soon take place.”
7 ARST يقول يسوع لكلِّ شعبه: «اسمعوا هذا! سآتي قريبًا؛ سيبارك الله بوفرة كلَّ من يُطيع الرسالة النبويَّة في هذا الكتاب». BSB BSB: “Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book.”
8 ARST أنا، يوحنَّا، أنا الذي سمعت ورأيت في رؤيا هذه الأمور التي كتبتها. عندما سمعتها ورأيتها، جثوت على الفور أمام الملاك الذي كشف لي هذه الأمور لأسجد له. BSB BSB: And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
9 ARST لكنَّه قال لي: «لا تسجد لي! أنا مجرَّد عبد لله مثلك! أنا أيضًا عبد مثل المؤمنين الآخرين الذين هم الأنبياء، ومثل أولئك الذين يُطيعون الرسالة في هذا الكتاب. بدلًا من ذلك، اسجد لله!» BSB BSB: But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”
10 ARST قال لي أيضًا: «لا تُخفي الرسالة التي تتكلَّم عمَّا تنبَّأ به الله في هذا الكتاب، لأنَّ الوقت الذي سيتمِّم فيه هذه الرسالة قد اقترب. BSB BSB: Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of prophecy in this book, because the time is near.
11 ARST وبما أنَّ الوقت وشيك، إذا أراد أولئك الذين يتصرَّفون بطريقة شرِّيرة أن يستمرُّوا في أن يتصرَّفوا بهذه الطريقة، فليستمرُّوا في ذلك. وإذا أراد الفاسدون أن يبقوا فاسدين، فليبقوا كذلك. سيعاقبهم الله قريبًا على ذلك. ولكن أولئك الذين يتصرَّفون بطريقة بارَّة يجب أن يستمرُّوا في أن يتصرَّفوا بطريقة بارَّةٍ، وأولئك الذين يتصرَّفون كأناس ينتمون إلى الله يجب أن يستمرُّوا في أن يتصرَّفوا بتلك الطريقة». BSB BSB: Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.”
12 ARST يقول يسوع لجميع الناس: «استمعوا! أنا آتي قريبًا! سأجازي أو أكافئ كلَّ واحد وفقًا لما فعله. BSB BSB: “Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done.
13 ARST أنا الذي ابتدأت كلَّ الأشياء، وأنا الذي سأنهي كلَّ الأشياء. أنا قبل كلِّ الأشياء، وأنا بعد كلِّ الأشياء. BSB BSB: I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
14 ARST الله مسرور جدًّا من الناس الذين يتوقَّفون عن أن يعيشوا بطرق خاطئة ويبدأون في أن يعيشوا بطرق صحيحة. لأنَّهم يفعلون ذلك، سيتمكَّن هؤلاء الناس من أن يأكلوا ثمرَ الشجرة التي تمكِّن الناس من أن يعيشوا إلى الأبد. سيتمكَّنون من أن يدخلوا الأبواب إلى المدينة المقدَّسة، BSB BSB: Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates.
15 ARST ولكنْ لن يدخل آخرون تلك المدينة، ويشمل هذا الأشخاص الذين يفعلون أشياء شرِّيرة أو يمارسون السحر أو يرتكبون الخطايا الجنسيَّة أو يقتلون الآخرين أو يعبدون الأوثان أو يكذبون باستمرار. BSB BSB: But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 ARST أنا، يسوع، أرسلت ملاكي لأعلن هذه الأشياء التي ستؤثِّر فيكم أنتم يا جماعات المؤمنين. بشكل غامض، أنا سلف داود الملك وكذلك نسله الذي وعد الأنبياء أنَّه سيأتي. أنا الذي مثل كوكب الصبح المنير». BSB BSB: “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.”
17 ARST يقول الروح القدس وأولئك الذين ينتمون إلى الله: «تعال!» ويجب على كلِّ من يسمع هذا أن يقول أيضًا: «تعال!» كلُّ من يريد الحياة الأبديَّة سينالها! سيمنح الله الحياة الأبديَّة كعطيَّة مجانيَّة لكلِّ مَن يريدها! BSB BSB: The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.
18 ARST أنا، يوحنَّا، أحذِّر بجدِّيَّة كلَّ من يسمع الرسالة وما تنبَّأت به في هذا الكتاب، وإذا أضافَ أحد شيئًا إلى هذه الرسالة، فإنَّ الله سيعاقبه بالطرق التي يتكلَّم عنها هذا الكتاب. BSB BSB: I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
19 ARST وإذا حذف أحد أيَّ شيء من هذه الرسالة عن الأمور التي تنبَّأت بها في هذا الكتاب، فإنَّ الله سيسلب حقَّ ذلك الشخص من أن يأكل ثمر الشجرة التي تمكِّن الناس من أن يعيشوا إلى الأبد. وسيسلب الله حقَّ ذلك الشخص أيضًا في أن يدخل أورشليم الجديدة. وقد وصفت كلا الأمرين في هذا الكتاب. BSB BSB: And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 ARST يسوع، الذي يقول إنَّ كلَّ هذه الأمور صحيحة، يقول أيضًا: «بالتأكيد، سوف آتي قريبًا!»، وأنا يوحنَّا أُجيب: «فليكن ذلك! تعال أيُّها الربُّ يسوع!» BSB BSB: He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
21 ARST أصلِّي أن يستمرَّ ربُّنا في أن يتصرَّف بطريقة لطيفة من نحوِ كلِّ واحد منكم يا شعب الله. فليكن ذلك! BSB BSB: The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
