1 GLT وَهَذِهِ فِرَقُ بَنِي هَارُونَ: بَنُو هَارُونَ: نَادَابُ وَأَبِيهُو، أَلِعَازَارُ وَإِيثَامَارُ. BSB BSB: These were the divisions of the descendants of Aaron. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 GLT وَمَاتَ نَادَابُ وَأَبِيهُو قَبْلَ أَبِيهِمَا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمَا بَنُونَ، فَكَهَنَ أَلِعَازَارُ وَإِيثَامَارُ. BSB BSB: But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.
3 GLT وَقَسَمَهُمْ دَاوُدُ وَصَادُوقُ مِنْ بَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ، وَأَخِيمَالِكَ مِنْ بَنِي إِيثَامَارَ، حَسَبَ وَكَالَتِهِمْ فِي خِدْمَتِهِمْ. BSB BSB: With the help of Eleazar’s descendant Zadok and Ithamar’s descendant Ahimelech, David divided them according to the offices of their service.
4 GLT وَوُجِدَ لِبَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ رُؤُوسُ رِجَالٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ بَنِي إِيثَامَارَ، فَٱنْقَسَمُوا لِبَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ رُؤُوسًا لِبَيْتِ آبَائِهِمْ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ، وَلِبَنِي إِيثَامَارَ لِبَيْتِ آبَائِهِمْ ثَمَانِيَةٌ. BSB BSB: Since more leaders were found among Eleazar’s descendants than those of Ithamar, they were divided accordingly. There were sixteen heads of families from the descendants of Eleazar and eight from the descendants of Ithamar.
5 GLT وَٱنْقَسَمُوا بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ، هَؤُلَاءِ مَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ، لِأَنَّ رُؤَسَاءَ ٱلْقُدْسِ وَرُؤَسَاءَ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ كَانُوا مِنْ بَنِي أَلِعَازَارَ وَمِنْ بَنِي إِيثَامَارَ. BSB BSB: Thus they were divided by lot, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God among both Eleazar’s and Ithamar’s descendants.
6 GLT وَكَتَبَهُمْ شَمَعْيَا بْنُ نَثَنْئِيلَ ٱلْكَاتِبُ مِنَ ٱللَّاوِيِّينَ أَمَامَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ وَصَادُوقَ ٱلْكَاهِنِ وَأَخِيمَالِكَ بْنِ أَبِيَاثَارَ وَرُؤُوسِ ٱلْآبَاءِ لِلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱللَّاوِيِّينَ. فَأُخِذَ بَيْتُ أَبٍ وَاحِدٍ لِأَلِعَازَارَ، وَأُخِذَ وَاحِدٌ لِإِيثَامَارَ. BSB BSB: The scribe, Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and of the officers: Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites—one family being taken from Eleazar, and then one from Ithamar.
7 GLT فَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلْأُولَى لِيَهُويَارِيبَ. ٱلثَّانِيَةُ لِيَدْعِيَا. BSB BSB: The first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8 GLT ٱلثَّالِثَةُ لِحَارِيمَ. ٱلرَّابِعَةُ لِسَعُورِيمَ. BSB BSB: the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 GLT ٱلْخَامِسَةُ لِمَلْكِيَّا. ٱلسَّادِسَةُ لِمَيَّامِينَ. BSB BSB: the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 GLT ٱلسَّابِعَةُ لِهُقُّوصَ. ٱلثَّامِنَةُ لِأَبِيَّا. BSB BSB: the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 GLT ٱلتَّاسِعَةُ لِيَشُوعَ. ٱلْعَاشِرَةُ لِشَكُنْيَا. BSB BSB: the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 GLT ٱلْحَادِيَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِأَلِيَاشِيبَ. ٱلثَّانِيَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِيَاقِيمَ. BSB BSB: the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 GLT ٱلثَّالِثَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِحُفَّةَ. ٱلرَّابِعَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِيَشَبْآبَ. BSB BSB: the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 GLT ٱلْخَامِسَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِبَلْجَةَ. ٱلسَّادِسَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِإِيمِيرَ. BSB BSB: the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 GLT ٱلسَّابِعَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِحِيزِيرَ. ٱلثَّامِنَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِهَفْصِيصَ. BSB BSB: the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 GLT ٱلتَّاسِعَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِفَقَحْيَا. ٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِيَحَزْقِيئِيلَ. BSB BSB: the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 GLT ٱلْحَادِيَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِيَاكِينَ. ٱلثَّانِيةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِجَامُولَ. BSB BSB: the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 GLT ٱلثَّالِثَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِدَلَايَا. ٱلرَّابِعَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِمَعَزْيَا. BSB BSB: the twenty-third to Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 GLT فَهَذِهِ وَكَالَتُهُمْ وَخِدْمَتُهُمْ لِلدُّخُولِ إِلَى بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ حَسَبَ حُكْمِهِمْ عَنْ يَدِ هَارُونَ أَبِيهِمْ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. BSB BSB: This was their appointed order for service when they entered the house of the LORD, according to the regulations prescribed for them by their forefather Aaron, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
20 GLT وَأَمَّا بَنُو لَاوِي ٱلْبَاقُونَ: فَمِنْ بَنِي عَمْرَامَ: شُوبَائِيلُ، وَمِنْ بَنِي شُوبَائِيلَ: يَحَدْيَا. BSB BSB: Now these were the rest of the descendants of Levi: From the sons of Amram: Shubael; from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
21 GLT وَأَمَّا رَحَبْيَا، فَمِنْ بَنِي رَحَبْيَا: ٱلرَّأْسُ يَشِّيَّا. BSB BSB: As for Rehabiah, from his sons: The first was Isshiah.
22 GLT وَمِنَ ٱلْيِصْهَارِيِّينَ: شَلُومُوثُ، وَمِنْ بَنِي شَلُومُوثَ: يَحَثُ. BSB BSB: From the Izharites: Shelomoth; from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 GLT وَمِنْ بَنِي حَبْرُونَ: يَرِيَّا وَأَمَرْيَا ٱلثَّانِي وَيَحْزِيئِيلُ ٱلثَّالِثُ وَيَقْمَعَامُ ٱلرَّابِعُ. BSB BSB: From the sons of Hebron: Jeriah was the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
24 GLT مِنْ بَنِي عُزِّيئِيلَ: مِيخَا. مِنْ بَنِي مِيخَا: شَامُورُ. BSB BSB: From the sons of Uzziel: Micah; from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
25 GLT أَخُو مِيخَا: يِشِّيَّا، وَمِنْ بَنِي يِشِّيَّا: زَكَرِيَّا. BSB BSB: The brother of Micah: Isshiah; from the sons of Isshiah: Zechariah.
26 GLT اِبْنَا مَرَارِي: مَحْلِي وَمُوشِي. اِبْنُ يَعَزْيَا بَنُو. BSB BSB: The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 GLT مِنْ بَنِي مَرَارِي لِيَعَزْيَا: بَنُو وَشُوهَمُ وَزَكُّورُ وَعِبْرِي. BSB BSB: The descendants of Merari from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 GLT مِنْ مَحْلِي: أَلِعَازَارُ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بَنُونَ. BSB BSB: From Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 GLT وَأَمَّا قَيْسُ، فَٱبْنُ قَيْسَ يَرْحَمْئِيلُ. BSB BSB: From Kish: Jerahmeel the son of Kish.
30 GLT وَبَنُو مُوشِي: مَحْلِي وَعَادِرُ وَيَرِيمُوثُ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو ٱللَّاوِيِّينَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ. BSB BSB: And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites, according to their families.
31 GLT وَأَلْقَوْا هُمْ أَيْضًا قُرَعًا مُقَابِلَ إِخْوَتِهِمْ بَنِي هَارُونَ أَمَامَ دَاوُدَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَصَادُوقَ وَأَخِيمَالِكَ وَرُؤُوسِ آبَاءِ ٱلْكَهَنَةِ وَٱللَّاوِيِّينَ. ٱلْآبَاءُ ٱلرُّؤُوسُ كَمَا إِخْوَتِهِمِ ٱلْأَصَاغِرِ. BSB BSB: As their brothers the descendants of Aaron did, they also cast lots in the presence of King David and of Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the families of the priests and Levites—the family heads and their younger brothers alike.
