1 GLT وَبَنُو يَسَّاكَرَ: تُولَاعُ وَفُوَّةُ وَيَاشُوبُ وَشِمْرُونُ أَرْبَعَةٌ. BSB BSB: The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron—four in all.
2 GLT وَبَنُو تُولَاعَ: عُزِّي وَرَفَايَا وَيَرِيئِيلُ وَيَحَمَايُ وَيِبْسَامُ وَشَمُوئِيلُ رُؤُوسُ بَيْتِ أَبِيهِمْ تُولَاعَ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ حَسَبَ مَوَالِيدِهِمْ. كَانَ عَدَدُهُمْ فِي أَيَّامِ دَاوُدَ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا وَسِتَّ مِئَةٍ. BSB BSB: The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, the heads of their families. In the days of David, 22,600 descendants of Tola were numbered in their genealogies as mighty men of valor.
3 GLT وَٱبْنُ عُزِّي يَزْرَحْيَا. وَبَنُو يَزْرَحْيَا: مِيخَائِيلُ وَعُوبَدْيَا وَيُوئِيلُ وَيِشِّيَّا. خَمْسَةٌ، كُلُّهُمْ رُؤُوسٌ. BSB BSB: The son of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. All five of them were chiefs.
4 GLT وَمَعَهُمْ حَسَبَ مَوَالِيدِهِمْ وَبُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ جُيُوشُ أَجْنَادِ ٱلْحَرْبِ سِتَّةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ أَلْفًا، لِأَنَّهُمْ كَثَّرُوا ٱلنِّسَاءَ وَٱلْبَنِينَ. BSB BSB: In addition to them, according to their genealogy, they had 36,000 troops for battle, for they had many wives and children.
5 GLT وَإِخْوَتُهُمْ حَسَبَ كُلِّ عَشَائِرِ يَسَّاكَرَ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ، سَبْعَةٌ وَثَمَانُونَ أَلْفًا مُجْمَلُ ٱنْتِسَابِهِمْ. BSB BSB: Their kinsmen belonging to all the families of Issachar who were mighty men of valor totaled 87,000, as listed in their genealogies.
6 GLT لِبَنْيَامِينَ: بَالَعُ وَبَاكَرُ وَيَدِيعَئِيلُ. ثَلَاثَةٌ. BSB BSB: The three sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, and Jediael.
7 GLT وَبَنُو بَالَعَ: أَصْبُونُ وَعُزِّي وَعَزِّيئِيلُ وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَعَيْرِي. خَمْسَةٌ. رُؤُوسُ بُيُوتِ آبَاءٍ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ، وَقَدِ ٱنْتَسَبُوا ٱثْنَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعَةً وَثَلَاثِينَ. BSB BSB: The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, heads of their families—five in all. There were 22,034 mighty men of valor listed in their genealogies.
8 GLT وَبَنُو بَاكَرَ: زَمِيرَةُ وَيُوعَاشُ وَأَلِيعَزَرُ وَأَلْيُوعِينَايُ وَعُمْرِي وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَأَبِيَّا وَعَنَاثُوثُ وَعَلَامَثُ. كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو بَاكَرَ. BSB BSB: The sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth; all these were Becher’s sons.
9 GLT وَٱنْتِسَابُهُمْ حَسَبَ مَوَالِيدِهِمْ رُؤُوسُ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ عِشْرُونَ أَلْفًا وَمِئَتَانِ. BSB BSB: Their genealogies were recorded according to the heads of their families—20,200 mighty men of valor.
10 GLT وَٱبْنُ يَدِيعَئِيلَ بَلْهَانُ، وَبَنُو بَلْهَانَ: يَعِيشُ وَبَنْيَامِينُ وَأَهُودُ وَكَنْعَنَةُ وَزَيْتَانُ وَتَرْشِيشُ وَأَخِيشَاحَرُ. BSB BSB: The son of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 GLT كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو يَدِيعِئِيلَ حَسَبَ رُؤُوسِ ٱلْآبَاءِ جَبَابِرَةُ ٱلْبَأْسِ سَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا وَمِئَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلْخَارِجِينَ فِي ٱلْجَيْشِ لِلْحَرْبِ. BSB BSB: All these sons of Jediael were heads of their families, mighty men of valor; there were 17,200 fit for battle.
12 GLT وَشُفِّيمُ وَحُفِّيمُ ٱبْنَا عَيْرَ، وَحُوشِيمُ بْنُ أَحِيرَ. BSB BSB: The Shuppites and Huppites were descendants of Ir, and the Hushites were descendants of Aher.
13 GLT بَنُو نَفْتَالِي: يَحْصِيئِيلُ وَجُونِي وَيَصَرُ وَشَلُّومُ، بَنُو بِلْهَةَ. BSB BSB: The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum—the descendants of Bilhah.
14 GLT بَنُو مَنَسَّى: إِشْرِيئِيلُ، ٱلَّذِي وَلَدَتْهُ سُرِّيَّتُهُ ٱلْأَرَامِيَّةُ. وَلَدَتْ مَاكِيرَ أَبَا جِلْعَادَ. BSB BSB: The descendants of Manasseh: Asriel through his Aramean concubine. She also gave birth to Machir the father of Gilead.
15 GLT وَمَاكِيرُ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱمْرَأَةً أُخْتَ حُفِّيمَ وَشُفِّيمَ وَٱسْمُهَا مَعْكَةُ. وَٱسْمُ ٱبْنِهِ ٱلثَّانِي صَلُفْحَادُ. وَكَانَ لِصَلُفْحَادَ بَنَاتٌ. BSB BSB: Machir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. The name of his sister was Maacah. Another descendant was named Zelophehad, who had only daughters.
16 GLT وَوَلَدَتْ مَعْكَةُ ٱمْرَأَةُ مَاكِيرَ ٱبْنًا وَدَعَتِ ٱسْمَهُ فَرَشَ، وَٱسْمُ أَخِيهِ شَارَشُ، وَٱبْنَاهُ أُولَامُ وَرَاقَمُ. BSB BSB: Machir’s wife Maacah gave birth to a son, and she named him Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rekem.
17 GLT وَٱبْنُ أُولَامَ بَدَانُ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو جِلْعَادَ بْنِ مَاكِيرَ بْنِ مَنَسَّى. BSB BSB: The son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
18 GLT وَأُخْتُهُ هَمُّولَكَةُ وَلَدَتْ إِيشْهُودَ وَأَبِيعَزَرَ وَمَحْلَةَ. BSB BSB: His sister Hammolecheth gave birth to Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 GLT وَكَانَ بَنُو شَمِيدَاعَ: أَخِيَانَ وَشَكِيمَ وَلِقْحِي وَأَنِيعَامَ. BSB BSB: And these were the sons of Shemida: Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 GLT وَبَنُو أَفْرَايِمَ: شُوتَالَحُ وَبَرَدُ ٱبْنُهُ، وَتَحَثُ ٱبْنُهُ، وَأَلِعَادَا ٱبْنُهُ، وَتَحَثُ ٱبْنُهُ، BSB BSB: The descendants of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eleadah his son, Tahath his son,
21 GLT وَزَابَادُ ٱبْنُهُ، وَشُوتَالَحُ ٱبْنُهُ وَعَزَرُ وَأَلِعَادُ، وَقَتَلَهُمْ رِجَالُ جَتَّ ٱلْمَوْلُودُونَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ لِأَنَّهُمْ نَزَلُوا لِيَسُوقُوا مَاشِيَتَهُمْ. BSB BSB: Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son. Ezer and Elead were killed by the natives of Gath, because they went down to steal their livestock.
22 GLT وَنَاحَ أَفْرَايِمُ أَبُوهُمْ أَيَّامًا كَثِيرَةً وَأَتَى إِخْوَتُهُ لِيُعَزُّوهُ. BSB BSB: Their father Ephraim mourned for many days, and his relatives came to comfort him.
23 GLT وَدَخَلَ عَلَى ٱمْرَأَتِهِ فَحَبِلَتْ وَوَلَدَتِ ٱبْنًا، فَدَعَا ٱسْمَهُ بَرِيعَةَ، لِأَنَّ بَلِيَّةً كَانَتْ فِي بَيْتِهِ. BSB BSB: And again he slept with his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. So he named him Beriah, because tragedy had come upon his house.
24 GLT وَبِنْتُهُ شِيرَةُ. وَقَدْ بَنَتْ بَيْتَ حُورُونَ ٱلسُّفْلَى وَٱلْعُلْيَا وَأُزَّيْنَ شِيرَةَ. BSB BSB: His daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth-horon, as well as Uzzen-sheerah.
25 GLT وَرَفَحُ ٱبْنُهُ، وَرَشَفُ، وَتَلَحُ ٱبْنُهُ، وَتَاحَنُ ٱبْنُهُ، BSB BSB: Additionally, Rephah was his son, Resheph his son, Telah his son, Tahan his son,

28 GLT وَأَمْلَاكُهُمْ وَمَسَاكِنُهُمْ: بَيْتُ إِيلَ وَقُرَاهَا، وَشَرْقًا نَعَرَانُ، وَغَرْبًا جَازَرُ وَقُرَاهَا، وَشَكِيمُ وَقُرَاهَا، إِلَى غَزَّةَ وَقُرَاهَا. BSB BSB: Their holdings and settlements included Bethel and its villages, Naaran to the east, Gezer and its villages to the west, and Shechem and its villages as far as Ayyah and its villages.
29 GLT وَلِجِهَةِ بَنِي مَنَسَّى بَيْتُ شَانَ وَقُرَاهَا، وَتَعْنَكُ وَقُرَاهَا، وَمَجِدُّو وَقُرَاهَا، وَدُورُ وَقُرَاهَا. فِي هَذِهِ سَكَنَ بَنُو يُوسُفَ بْنِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. BSB BSB: And along the borders of Manasseh were Beth-shean, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, together with their villages. The descendants of Joseph son of Israel lived in these towns.
30 GLT بَنُو أَشِيرَ: يَمْنَةُ وَيِشْوَةُ وَيِشْوِي وَبَرِيعَةُ وَسَارَحُ أُخْتُهُمْ. BSB BSB: The children of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah.
31 GLT وَٱبْنَا بَرِيعَةَ: حَابِرُ وَمَلْكِيئِيلُ. هُوَ أَبُو بِرْزَاوَثَ. BSB BSB: The sons of Beriah: Heber, as well as Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
32 GLT وَحَابِرُ وَلَدَ يَفْلِيطَ وَشُومَيْرَ وَحُوثَامَ وَشُوعَا أُخْتَهُمْ. BSB BSB: Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham, and of their sister Shua.
33 GLT وَبَنُو يَفْلِيطَ: فَاسَكُ وَبِمْهَالُ وَعَشْوَةُ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو يَفْلِيطَ. BSB BSB: The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were Japhlet’s sons.
34 GLT وَبَنُو شَامَرَ: آخِي وَرُهْجَةُ وَيَحُبَّةُ وَأَرَامُ. BSB BSB: The sons of Shemer: Ahi, Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.
35 GLT وَبَنُو هِيلَامَ أَخِيهِ: صُوفَحُ وَيَمْنَاعُ وَشَالَشُ وَعَامَالُ. BSB BSB: The sons of his brother Helem: Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.
36 GLT وَبَنُو صُوفَحَ: سُوحُ وَحَرَنْفَرُ وَشُوعَالُ وَبِيرِي وَيَمْرَةُ BSB BSB: The sons of Zophah: Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 GLT وَبَاصِرُ وَهُودُ وَشَمَّا وَشِلْشَةُ وَيِثْرَانُ وَبَئِيرَا. BSB BSB: Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera.
38 GLT وَبَنُو يَثَرَ: يَفُنَّةُ وَفِسْفَةُ وَأَرَا. BSB BSB: The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, Pispa, and Ara.
39 GLT وَبَنُو عُلَّا: آرَحُ وَحَنِيئِيلُ وَرَصِيَا. BSB BSB: The sons of Ulla: Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 GLT كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو أَشِيرَ رُؤُوسُ بُيُوتِ آبَاءٍ مُنْتَخَبُونَ جَبَابِرَةُ بَأْسٍ، رُؤُوسُ ٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ وَٱنْتِسَابُهُمْ فِي ٱلْجَيْشِ فِي ٱلْحَرْبِ، عَدَدُهُمْ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ سِتَّةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ أَلْفًا. BSB BSB: All these were the descendants of Asher—heads of their families, choice and mighty men of valor, and chiefs among the leaders. The number of men fit for battle, recorded in their genealogies, was 26,000.
