1 GLT اِحْمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ. ٱدْعُوا بِٱسْمِهِ. عَرِّفُوا بَيْنَ ٱلْأُمَمِ بِأَعْمَالِهِ. BSB BSB: Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations.
2 GLT غَنُّوا لَهُ. رَنِّمُوا لَهُ. أَنْشِدُوا بِكُلِّ عَجَائِبِهِ. BSB BSB: Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.
3 GLT ٱفْتَخِرُوا بِٱسْمِهِ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ. لِتَفْرَحْ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَلْتَمِسُونَ ٱلرَّبَّ. BSB BSB: Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
4 GLT اُطْلُبُوا ٱلرَّبَّ وَقُدْرَتَهُ. ٱلْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِمًا. BSB BSB: Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
5 GLT ٱذْكُرُوا عَجَائِبَهُ ٱلَّتِي صَنَعَ، آيَاتِهِ وَأَحْكَامَ فِيهِ، BSB BSB: Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced,
6 GLT يَا ذُرِّيَّةَ إِبْراهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، يَا بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ مُخْتَارِيهِ. BSB BSB: O offspring of His servant Abraham, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7 GLT هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا فِي كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَحْكَامُهُ. BSB BSB: He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth.
8 GLT ذَكَرَ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ عَهْدَهُ، كَلَامًا أَوْصَى بِهِ إِلَى أَلْفِ دَوْرٍ، BSB BSB: He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations—
9 GLT ٱلَّذِي عَاهَدَ بِهِ إِبْراهِيمَ، وَقَسَمَهُ لِإِسْحاقَ، BSB BSB: the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac.
10 GLT فَثَبَّتَهُ لِيَعْقُوبَ فَرِيضَةً، وَلِإِسْرَائِيلَ عَهْدًا أَبَدِيًّا، BSB BSB: He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 GLT قَائِلًا: «لَكَ أُعْطِي أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ حَبْلَ مِيرَاثِكُمْ». BSB BSB: “I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 GLT إِذْ كَانُوا عَدَدًا يُحْصَى، قَلِيلِينَ وَغُرَبَاءَ فِيهَا. BSB BSB: When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land,
13 GLT ذَهَبُوا مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ، مِنْ مَمْلَكَةٍ إِلَى شَعْبٍ آخَرَ. BSB BSB: they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
14 GLT فَلَمْ يَدَعْ إِنْسَانًا يَظْلِمُهُمْ، بَلْ وَبَّخَ مُلُوكًا مِنْ أَجْلِهِمْ، BSB BSB: He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf:
15 GLT قَائِلًا: «لَا تَمَسُّوا مُسَحَائِي، وَلَا تُسِيئُوا إِلَى أَنْبِيَائِي». BSB BSB: “Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!”
16 GLT دَعَا بِٱلْجُوعِ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ. كَسَرَ قِوَامَ ٱلْخُبْزِ كُلَّهُ. BSB BSB: He called down famine on the land and cut off all their supplies of food.
17 GLT أَرْسَلَ أَمَامَهُمْ رَجُلًا. بِيعَ يُوسُفُ عَبْدًا. BSB BSB: He sent a man before them—Joseph, sold as a slave.
18 GLT آذَوْا بِٱلْقَيْدِ رِجْلَيْهِ. فِي ٱلْحَدِيدِ دَخَلَتْ نَفْسُهُ، BSB BSB: They bruised his feet with shackles and placed his neck in irons,
19 GLT إِلَى وَقْتِ مَجِيءِ كَلِمَتِهِ. قَوْلُ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱمْتَحَنَهُ. BSB BSB: until his prediction came true and the word of the LORD proved him right.
20 GLT أَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ فَحَلَّهُ. أَرْسَلَ سُلْطَانُ ٱلشَّعْبِ فَأَطْلَقَهُ. BSB BSB: The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.
21 GLT أَقَامَهُ سَيِّدًا عَلَى بَيْتِهِ، وَمُسَلَّطًا عَلَى كُلِّ مُلْكِهِ، BSB BSB: He made him master of his household, ruler over all his substance,
22 GLT لِيَأْسُرَ رُؤَسَاءَهُ حَسَبَ إِرَادَتِهِ وَيُعَلِّمَ مَشَايِخَهُ حِكْمَةً. BSB BSB: to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.
23 GLT فَجَاءَ إِسْرَائِيلُ إِلَى مِصْرَ، وَيَعْقُوبُ تَغَرَّبَ فِي أَرْضِ حَامٍ. BSB BSB: Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.
24 GLT جَعَلَ شَعْبَهُ مُثْمِرًا جِدًّا، وَأَعَزَّهُ عَلَى أَعْدَائِهِ. BSB BSB: And the LORD made His people very fruitful, more numerous than their foes,
25 GLT حَوَّلَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِيُبْغِضُوا شَعْبَهُ، لِيَحْتَالُوا عَلَى عَبِيدِهِ. BSB BSB: whose hearts He turned to hate His people, to conspire against His servants.
26 GLT أَرْسَلَ مُوسَى عَبْدَهُ وَهارُونَ ٱلَّذِي ٱخْتَارَهُ. BSB BSB: He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.
27 GLT أَقَامَا بَيْنَهُمْ كَلَامَ آيَاتِهِ، وَعَجَائِبَ فِي أَرْضِ حَامٍ. BSB BSB: They performed His miraculous signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 GLT أَرْسَلَ ظُلْمَةً فَأَظْلَمَتْ، وَلَمْ يَعْصَوْا كَلَامَهُ. BSB BSB: He sent darkness, and it became dark—yet they defied His words.
29 GLT حَوَّلَ مِيَاهَهُمْ إِلَى دَمٍ وَقَتَلَ أَسْمَاكَهُمْ. BSB BSB: He turned their waters to blood and caused their fish to die.
30 GLT أَفَاضَتْ أَرْضُهُمْ ضَفَادِعَ حَتَّى فِي مَخَادِعِ مُلُوكِهِمْ. BSB BSB: Their land teemed with frogs, even in their royal chambers.
31 GLT أَمَرَ فَجَاءَ ٱلذُّبَّانُ وَٱلْبَعُوضُ فِي كُلِّ تُخُومِهِمْ. BSB BSB: He spoke, and insects swarmed—gnats throughout their country.
32 GLT جَعَلَ أَمْطَارَهُمْ بَرَدًا وَنَارًا مُلْتَهِبَةً فِي أَرْضِهِمْ. BSB BSB: He gave them hail for rain, with lightning throughout their land.
33 GLT ضَرَبَ كُرُومَهُمْ وَتِينَهُمْ، وَكَسَّرَ كُلَّ أَشْجَارِ تُخُومِهِمْ. BSB BSB: He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.
34 GLT أَمَرَ فَجَاءَ ٱلْجَرَادُ وَغَوْغَاءُ بِلَا عَدَدٍ، BSB BSB: He spoke, and the locusts came—young locusts without number.
35 GLT فَأَكَلَ كُلَّ عُشْبٍ فِي بِلَادِهِمْ، وَأَكَلَ أَثْمَارَ أَرْضِهِمْ. BSB BSB: They devoured every plant in their land and consumed the produce of their soil.
36 GLT قَتَلَ كُلَّ بِكْرٍ فِي أَرْضِهِمْ، أَوَائِلَ كُلِّ قُوَّتِهِمْ. BSB BSB: Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor.
37 GLT فَأَخْرَجَهُمْ بِفِضَّةٍ وَذَهَبٍ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي أَسْبَاطِهِمْ عَاثِرٌ. BSB BSB: He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and none among His tribes stumbled.
38 GLT فَرِحَتْ مِصْرُ بِخُرُوجِهِمْ، لِأَنَّ رُعْبَهُمْ سَقَطَ عَلَيْهِمْ. BSB BSB: Egypt was glad when they departed, for the dread of Israel had fallen on them.
39 GLT بَسَطَ سَحَابًا سَجْفًا، وَنَارًا لِتُضِيءَ ٱللَّيْلَ. BSB BSB: He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.
40 GLT سَأَلُوا فَأَتَاهُمْ بِٱلسَّلْوَى، وَخُبْزَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ أَشْبَعَهُمْ. BSB BSB: They asked, and He brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 GLT شَقَّ ٱلصَّخْرَةَ فَٱنْفَجَرَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ. جَرَتْ فِي ٱلْيَابِسَةِ نَهْرًا. BSB BSB: He opened a rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.
42 GLT لِأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةَ قُدْسِهِ مَعَ إِبْراهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، BSB BSB: For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.
43 GLT فَأَخْرَجَ شَعْبَهُ بِٱبْتِهَاجٍ، وَمُخْتَارِيهِ بِتَرَنُّمٍ. BSB BSB: He brought forth His people with rejoicing, His chosen with shouts of joy.
44 GLT وَأَعْطَاهُمْ أَرَاضِيَ ٱلْأُمَمِ، وَتَعَبَ ٱلشُّعُوبِ وَرِثُوهُ، BSB BSB: He gave them the lands of the nations, that they might inherit the fruit of others’ labor,
45 GLT لِكَيْ يَحْفَظُوا فَرَائِضَهُ وَيُطِيعُوا شَرَائِعَهُ. هَلِّلُويَا. BSB BSB: that they might keep His statutes and obey His laws. Hallelujah!
