So Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria to the officials of Jezreel, to the elders, and to the guardians of the sons of Ahab, saying:

We will not make anyone king. Do whatever is good in your sight.”

They put their heads in baskets and sent them to Jehu at Jezreel.

BSB BSB: The next morning, Jehu went out and stood before all the people and said, “You are innocent. It was I who conspired against my master and killed him. But who killed all these?

He spared none of them.

Jehu greeted him and asked, “Is your heart as true to mine as my heart is to yours?” “It is!” Jehonadab replied. “If it is,” said Jehu, “give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand, and Jehu helped him into his chariot,

See that no one is missing, for I have a great sacrifice for Baal. Whoever is missing will not live.” But Jehu was acting deceptively in order to destroy the servants of Baal.
20 ULB যেহূৱে আজ্ঞা দিলে, “বাল দেৱতাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে এটা দিন ঠিক কৰি এক পবিত্র মহাসভাৰ ঘোষণা কৰা।” সেই লোকসকলে সেই কথা প্রচাৰ কৰিলে। BSB BSB: And Jehu commanded, “Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal.” So they announced it.
21 ULB যেহূৱে তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সকলো ঠাইলৈ এই বার্তা পঠাই দিলে। তাতে বাল দেৱতাৰ সকলো উপাসক আহি উপস্থিত হ’ল। কোনোৱে নহাকৈ নাথাকিল। তেওঁলোক বাল দেৱতাৰ মন্দিৰত সোমোৱাৰ পাছত মন্দিৰৰ ইমুৰৰ পৰা সিমুৰলৈকে লোকেৰে ভৰি পৰিল। BSB BSB: Then Jehu sent word throughout Israel, and all the servants of Baal came; there was not a man who failed to show. They entered the temple of Baal, and it was filled from end to end.
22 ULB তেতিয়া যেহূৱে পুৰোহিতৰ পোছাক-ৰক্ষকজনক ক’লে, “বাল দেৱতাৰ উপাসকসকলৰ কাৰণে কাপোৰ লৈ আহা।” তাতে লোকজনে তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে কাপোৰ উলিয়াই আনিলে। BSB BSB: And Jehu said to the keeper of the wardrobe, “Bring out garments for all the servants of Baal.” So he brought out garments for them.

Now Jehu had stationed eighty men outside and warned them, “If anyone allows one of the men I am delivering into your hands to escape, he will forfeit his life for theirs.”

Do not let anyone out.” So the guards and officers put them to the sword, threw the bodies out, and went into the inner room of the temple of Baal.

31 ULB তথাপি যেহূৱে নিজৰ সকলো চিত্তে সৈতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ ব্যৱস্থা অনুসাৰে চলিবলৈ সাৱধান নহ’ল; যাৰবিয়ামে যিবোৰ পাপৰ দ্বাৰাই ইস্ৰায়েলক পাপ কৰাইছিল, সেইবোৰ পাপৰ পৰা তেওঁ আঁতৰ নহ’ল। BSB BSB: Yet Jehu was not careful to follow the instruction of the LORD, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam had caused Israel to commit.

BSB BSB: As for the rest of the acts of Jehu, along with all his accomplishments and all his might, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
35 ULB পাছত যেহূ তেওঁৰ পূর্বপুৰুষসকলৰ সৈতে নিদ্ৰিত হ’ল আৰু লোকসকলে তেওঁক চমৰিয়াত কবৰ দিলে। তেওঁৰ ঠাইত তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোৱাহজ ৰজা হ’ল। BSB BSB: And Jehu rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria, and his son Jehoahaz reigned in his place.
36 ULB যেহূৱে চমৰিয়াত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত আঠাইশ বছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল। BSB BSB: So the duration of Jehu’s reign over Israel in Samaria was twenty-eight years.
