1. 1ULBসেই সময়ত গোটেই পৃথিৱীৰ মানুহে কেৱল এটা ভাষাতে কথা কৈছিল।BSBBSB: Now the whole world had one language and a common form of speech.
2. 2ULBপাছত লোকসকলে পূব দিশে ঘূৰি ফুৰি গৈ চিনাৰ দেশত আহি এখন সমতল ভূমি পালে আৰু তাতে বাস কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।BSBBSB: And as people journeyed eastward, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there.
3. 3ULBতেওঁলোকে এজনে আনজনক ক’লে, “ব’লা, আমি ইটা সাজি ভালকৈ জুইত পোৰোঁহঁক।” এইবুলি কৈ তেওঁলোকে শিলৰ সলনি ইটা আৰু গাঁথনিৰ কাৰণে এঠামাটিৰ সলনি আলকতৰাৰ প্ৰলেপ ল’লে।BSBBSB: And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” So they used brick instead of stone, and tar instead of mortar.
4. 4ULBতেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “আহাঁ, আমি নিজৰ কাৰণে এখন নগৰ নির্ম্মাণ কৰো আৰু এনে এটা উচ্চ স্তম্ভ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰোঁহক যাৰ চূড়াই আকাশ চুব পাৰে। আমি আমাৰ নাম খ্যাতিমন্ত কৰোঁহক, নহ’লে আমি গোটেই পৃথিৱীতে সিচঁৰিত হৈ পৰিম।”BSBBSB: “Come,” they said, “let us build for ourselves a city with a tower that reaches to the heavens, that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of all the earth.”
5. 5ULBআদমৰ বংশধৰসকলে যি নগৰ আৰু উচ্চ স্তম্ভ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিছিল, তাক চাবলৈ যিহোৱা নামি আহিল।BSBBSB: Then the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men were building.
6. 6ULBযিহোৱাই কৈছিল, “এই লোকসকল এক জাতিৰ লোক আৰু এইসকলৰ ভাষাও এক! এওঁলোকে এনেকুৱাকৈ কাৰ্য্যও আৰম্ভ কৰিলে! এতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ইচ্ছা কৰা কোনো কাৰ্য্যই তেওঁলোকৰ বাবে অসাধ্য নহ’ব।BSBBSB: And the LORD said, “If they have begun to do this as one people speaking the same language, then nothing they devise will be beyond them.
7. 7ULBগতিকে, আহাঁ, আমি নামি গৈ তেওঁলোকৰ ভাষাত বিভ্রান্তিৰ সৃষ্টি কৰোঁ যাতে তেওঁলোকে এজনে আনজনৰ কথা বুজিব নোৱাৰে।”BSBBSB: Come, let Us go down and confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.”
8. 8ULBএইদৰে যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোককক সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা গোটেই পৃথিৱীতে সিচঁৰিত কৰিলে; তাতে তেওঁলোকে সেই নগৰ সজাৰ কাম বন্ধ কৰিলে।BSBBSB: So the LORD scattered them from there over the face of all the earth, and they stopped building the city.
9. 9ULBএইবাবেই সেই ঠাইৰ নাম বাবিল (ভেদ) ৰখা হ’ল, কিয়নো সেই ঠাইতেই যিহোৱাই গোটেই পৃথিৱীত ভাষাৰ ভেদ জন্মালে আৰু তাৰ পৰাই যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকক পৃথিৱীত সিচঁৰিত কৰিলে।BSBBSB: That is why it is called Babel, for there the LORD confused the language of the whole world, and from that place the LORD scattered them over the face of all the earth.
10. 10ULBচেমৰ বংশৰ বিৱৰণ এই। জলপ্লাৱনৰ দুবছৰৰ পাছত যেতিয়া চেমৰ বয়স এশ বছৰ তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ পুত্র অৰ্ফকচদ জন্মিল।BSBBSB: This is the account of Shem. Two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old, he became the father of Arphaxad.
11. 11ULBঅৰ্ফকচদৰ জন্মৰ পাছত চেম আৰু পাঁচ শ বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আৰু পুত্র-কন্যা জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Arphaxad, Shem lived 500 years and had other sons and daughters.

13. 13ULBচেলহৰ জন্মৰ পাছত অৰ্ফকচদ আৰু চাৰি শ তিনি বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আৰু পুত্র-কন্যা জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Shelah, Arphaxad lived 403 years and had other sons and daughters.
14. 14ULBচেলহৰ ত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পুত্র এবৰ জন্মিল;BSBBSB: When Shelah was 30 years old, he became the father of Eber.

16. 16ULBএবৰৰ চৌত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পুত্র পেলগ জন্মিল;BSBBSB: When Eber was 34 years old, he became the father of Peleg.
17. 17ULBপেলগৰ জন্মৰ পাছত এবৰ পুণৰ চাৰি শ ত্ৰিশ বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আন আন পুত্র-কন্যাসকল জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Peleg, Eber lived 430 years and had other sons and daughters.
18. 18ULBপেলগৰ ত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পুত্র ৰিয়ু জন্মিল।BSBBSB: When Peleg was 30 years old, he became the father of Reu.
19. 19ULBৰিয়ুৰ জন্মৰ পাছত পেলগ পুণৰ দুশ ন বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আন আন পুত্র আৰু কন্যাসকল জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Reu, Peleg lived 209 years and had other sons and daughters.
20. 20ULBৰিয়ুৰ ত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পুত্র চৰূগ জন্মিল।BSBBSB: When Reu was 32 years old, he became the father of Serug.
21. 21ULBচৰূগৰ জন্মৰ পাছত ৰিয়ু পুণৰ দুশ সাত বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আন আন পুত্র আৰু কন্যাসকল জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Serug, Reu lived 207 years and had other sons and daughters.
22. 22ULBচৰূগৰ ত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পুত্র নাহোৰ জন্মিল;BSBBSB: When Serug was 30 years old, he became the father of Nahor.
23. 23ULBনাহোৰৰ জন্মৰ পাছত চৰূগ আৰু দুশ বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আৰু পুত্র-কন্যা জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Nahor, Serug lived 200 years and had other sons and daughters.
24. 24ULBনাহোৰৰ উনত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পুত্র তেৰহ জন্মিল;BSBBSB: When Nahor was 29 years old, he became the father of Terah.
25. 25ULBতেৰহৰ জন্মৰ পাছত নাহোৰ পুণৰ এশ উনৈশ বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। সেই সময়ত তেওঁৰ আন আন পুত্র আৰু কন্যাসকল জন্মিল।BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Terah, Nahor lived 119 years and had other sons and daughters.
26. 26ULBতেৰহৰ সত্তৰ বছৰ বয়সৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ পুত্র অব্ৰাম, নাহোৰ আৰু হাৰণ জন্মিল।BSBBSB: When Terah was 70 years old, he became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
27. 27ULBতেৰহৰ বংশৰ বিৱৰণ এই। তেৰহৰ সন্তানসকল আছিল অব্ৰাম, নাহোৰ আৰু হাৰণ; হাৰণৰ সন্তানৰ নাম আছিল লোট।BSBBSB: This is the account of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot.
28. 28ULBপিতৃ তেৰহ জীয়াই থাকোতেই জন্মস্থান কলদীয়াসকলৰ উৰ নগৰত হাৰণৰ মৃত্যু হৈছিল।BSBBSB: During his father Terah’s lifetime, Haran died in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans.
29. 29ULBঅব্ৰাম আৰু নাহোৰ এই দুজনেই বিয়া কৰিছিল। অব্ৰামৰ ভার্য্যাৰ নাম আছিল চাৰী আৰু নাহোৰৰ ভার্য্যাৰ নাম আছিল মিলকা; তেওঁ হাৰণৰ জীয়েক আছিল। সেই হাৰণ মিলকা আৰু যিচকাৰ পিতৃ আছিল।BSBBSB: And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves. Abram’s wife was named Sarai, and Nahor’s wife was named Milcah; she was the daughter of Haran, who was the father of both Milcah and Iscah.
30. 30ULBকিন্তু চাৰী বন্ধ্যা আছিল; তেওঁৰ কোনো সন্তান নাছিল।BSBBSB: But Sarai was barren; she had no children.
31. 31ULBতেৰহে তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ অব্ৰাম, হাৰণৰ পুত্র তেওঁৰ নাতিয়েক লোট, অব্ৰামৰ ভাৰ্য্যা তেওঁৰ বোৱাৰীয়েক চাৰীক লগত লৈ কনান দেশলৈ যাবৰ কাৰণে কলদীয়াসকলৰ উৰ নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই গ’ল; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে হাৰণ নগৰ পর্যন্ত গৈ তাতে বসবাস কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।BSBBSB: And Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai the wife of Abram, and they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans for the land of Canaan. But when they arrived in Haran, they settled there.
32. 32ULBদুশ পাঁচ বছৰ বয়সত তেৰহৰ হাৰণতে মৃত্যু হ’ল।BSBBSB: Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Haran.
