4 PBDK sa menghibur kami huang hadi penderitaan kami sehinga kami lei pudi tau menghibur here sa naan huang berbagai penderitaan nihi penghiburan, sa kami raerai na hibur ulah Allah Talla. BSB BSB: who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
5 PBDK Ulah gana, sameh leon penderitaan-penderitaan Kristus melimpah huang kami, kala hio lei pudi penghiburan kami melimpah mitah nangkah Yesus Kristus. BSB BSB: For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
6 PBDK Jika kami menderita, hal hio demi penghiburan dan keselamatan nu. 17 PBDK Ulah gana hio, inonkah nihi kebimbangan aku merencanakan hal iti? Atau, inonkah sa aku rencanakan, aku merencanakane secara duniawi sehingga bagiku secara hayak naan "ya, ya" dan "bakoi, bakoi"? BSB BSB: When I planned this, did I do it carelessly? Or do I make my plans by human standards, so as to say “Yes, yes” and also “No, no”?
18 PBDK Sameh leon Allah Talla adalah setia, perkataan kami mat ga hanyu bakoilah "ya" dan "bakoi." BSB BSB: But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.”
19 PBDK Ulah, Anak Allah Talla, Yesus Kristus, sa na beritakan ta antara hanyu ulah kami, aye hio ulah aku, Silas, dan Timotius, bakoilah "ya" dan "bakoi", melainkan "ya" tahuang Aye. BSB BSB: For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was proclaimed among you by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not “Yes” and “No,” but in Him it has always been “Yes.”
20 PBDK Ulah, kaluhan janji Allah Talla ayelah "ya" tahuang Kristus. Hiolah sebab e, mitah Aye, kami ngantuh "amin" kami mat gi kemuliaan Allah Talla. BSB BSB: For all the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him, our “Amen” is spoken to the glory of God.
